Sorry, my spellchecker doesn't work properly. If I leave it on it swaps perfectly spelled words for other onea for no reason, so I have to leave it off and suffer the occasional

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
I recall someone or other calling KR a magical princess once, which by that definition seems hilarious, considering she basically 'earned' everything and anything, up to and including her own body and soul.

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
1) This is IC prejudice, not OoC. We're aware of that, right?
2) D7 is a MoffClone and...
3) What have the exalted done to make The Moff in any way positively disposed towards them?Avatar by Kris on a Stick

Oh, that was me? Damn, my past self is always getting my present self into trouble...
Okay, let's put it this way. Anyone who's more powerful than The Moff is a magical princess. Is that explicit enough for you?Avatar by Kris on a Stick

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
Poor D7.
And I was thinking 'deserve' in the karmic sense of having to do great good in order to deserve great power.
If we're going by 'deserve' as 'I worked for it so I deserve it', then a lot more characters qualify. KR probably more than most since she did all the work onscreen, as opposed to gaining levels during backstory. DC is probably a distant second, having started stronger, and not increased as much, but still done a massive amount of onscreen power changing stuff.
Also, if Darcy had realized her prank had gotten a kid killed, she'd feel really awful. But she left before it happened.Last edited by happyturtle; 2010-10-17 at 01:20 AM.

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
It's supposed to be a bit much, Riv only uses the Ragnarok when he's to angry to think or knows his opponent will survive. For the IC reason he doesn't use it well, check The Black Dragon thread.

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
Just so you know, not many Nexus characters have the ability to survive the kind of attacks you and Alexandrian are throwing around, without having to strain probability or scale up powers significantly. You two might want to tone it down, especially for random tavern fights.

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
Yeah, uh... to be honest, Kazia probably isn't capable of surviving an exploding bullet to the face. That was blatant cheating on my part.

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
You know, I shoulda come up with some ass-pull, because I was having a lot of fun playing D7. I was even gonna make him say life is pain.
I guess The Moff is hogging all the fate-cheating from my other characters...Avatar by Kris on a Stick

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
A lot of Exalted don't deserve it by the first one.
...at all. Look up Desus sometime.
Exaltation doesn't measure morality. It only measures heroism (in the classical, Heracles type sense).
That's part of why I refuse to use Good/Evil in relation to my Exalted characters, now. Creation doesn't have a measuring stick for that.

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
How about retconning another Moff grabbing him off the yellow road and tossing an exploded henchcorpse into the tavern instead?

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
Not sure if that's quite appropriate, given that Moffclones view eachother as competition, at best. But if anyone has a character that wants to raise D7, or even turn him into some form of intelligent undead, that'd be much appreciated.
After all, the explosion caused quite a few casualties. So it's not unlikely a cleric or necromancer might show up, right?[/grasping at threads]Avatar by Kris on a Stick

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
I actually have a character there that could raise the dead, or create undead... but that'd be a bit against his moral code, as loose as it is. But if you want a plain old Raise Dead, I can do that for ya.

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
Yeah, I do try and lower my power level in random brawls, but the point was kinda to kill someone. Riv feels very, very bad about it though. I'm honestly not sure how this will end.

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
I'm actually not sure why her power level is that high, given that she's basically a fighter. A fighter who can animate herself some undead minions, but still just a fighter, when it comes down to it.
But yes, she is very much a Magical Princess.Originally Posted by Lord Magtok

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
I'd HOPE he feels bad about it. Ya know, because of the shooting a 14 year old in cold blood for absolutely no reason aside from, as I believe has been referenced, a few rude remarks.

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
Ya know, this would be an excellent tume for HALO or Watchtower to show up, as destroying an entire tavern using ultra-tech weapons totally counts as an act of super-villiany.
