I'd like to apologize to anyone I might have infuriated by Zeta's dragon prank last night. I had intended for "Zeta" and the dragon to come in and sign the forms then for the real Zeta to walk in and bow but something went wrong between those two points. Being the imbecile I am, I only realized that dragons are immune to fire after detonating the first one. I realize that I probably should have given more warning that it was an illusion directly to AMEN as opposed to showing the bluff on the Black Dragon's Den and alluding to it in the Arena. Probably should have wrote something like "a mechanical whirr and the telltale grinding of cogs might be heard from the head of the beast.". And if you want to go after a character go after the Masked Man (who sent Zeta and Alpha away for their failure. If you want my head however, please at least get it Ace Attourney style so it provides some sport for the RPs here.

And for any of you that were wondering, the Masked Man is a combination of Alpha (light) and Zeta (dark). They sould all look alike because their bodies are 3 copies of the same 1 (two of the characters actually share the same body as the Masked Man has possessed Alexander Pyborne who doesn't even realize PACK is being assaulted at the moment)

Again, my apologies to any of those I offended last night. It was unintentional and foolish. Let my stoning commence (the execution type).

I wouldn't worry about it too much. We were all noobs at some point and did some rather silly stuff. But I'd advise avoiding the kind of overpowered, overly lethal attacks your characters have been throwing around in the future.

The Masked Man is really overpowered but he is overwhelmed and struck down during the invasion of PACK. After this, Alexander Pyborne is driven to madness because the death of the Masked Man eliminates his mental block so he can gaze at the horrorific crimes he committed in his quest for retribution. And his power level is only 10 when he is Pyborne.

(I honestly don't know if my character is overpowered, the first thread I read had exalted, messengers of the gods and person capable of mind-controllign anyone. My character seemed to be below the average power level at that point, and the only major lower increase is that it now takes moee than one bullet to kill him. I dunno, is my character seriously overpowered compared to that stuff? Seeing as it would only take a grenade or somethjng to put him down, I'm not sure.)

Is this still applicable? I could've sworn I saw him get hit by something worse than grenades.

I don't understand what holograms have to do with you saying shrapnel could kill your character, and then subsequently follow up by getting impaled on a sword without so much as a

Because it's not the shrapnel part of a grenade that would kill him, it's the getting blasted to bits part. Essentially, he can only be killed if his right arm is removed from the rest of hs body, or visa versa. A grenade could kill him by blowing his torso to bits, while getting impaled does nothing. Removing his head woupd work as well, because although he'd be alive, he'd also not have a brain.

The funny part is that THAT CAT doesn't actually have any regeneration powers, and is quite killable by most means.

The way I figure it, being part off Riv altered the appendix, making it's properies change somewhat.

Also, he injected it into himself in the ooze form, you know, the one that THAT CAT turns into if destroyed, only to regenarate into a even more powerfull form? I'd call that regenaration.

I usually see regeneration as something that happens while you're still alive to heal.

THAT CAT just dies. And then resurrects.

But its okay to give him regeneration and invulnerability with the graft. Eldritch abominations allow for hand tentacle waves like that.

He has not in fact, ever killed anyine before. He just stares at the remains for a few seconds, then falls to the floor puking. He's seen blood and guts before...... But it's different when you've actually killed him. Throwing the Ragnarok away, Riv runs, forgeting that he can even teleport.

I apologize if this sounds a bit rude or judgmental or unpleasant, especially since I just questioned you about the grenade thing a few minutes ago, but shouldn't be used to such brutality, seeing as he's someone who makes a regular habit of exploding the **** out of anyone who so much as looks at him funny?

Always tell the hero exactly how to stop your plot, Never use a simple scheme if you fan have a over-complicated one, and Never actually kill anyone. He has in short attacked people with lethal force before, but only when reasonably sure they would survive. Up until the point where he went psychotic, Riv wasn't all that evil, just dangerously insane and destructive. Plus, yeah, he only just made the Ragnarok, and almost never uses it.

And no, the explosions at Trogs were focused on one point, they didn't really hit anyone else.

I just copied that from the event in question at Trog's. Frag grenades produce shrapnel. Also, when a shot simply "splits" without any explanation as to how, it seems to me that they'd have to split away from each other. Considering that the original shot split into eight, which each then split into eight more, I cannot see how it could possibly be focused on one point.

Furthermore the effect of 64 grenades exploding, even if they're very close to each other, is still going to cause a lot of shrapnel to go flying all over the place. All the windows would be shattered, all the tables and chairs destroyed, and so on. With that much stuff flying through the air it's a safe bet that every last NPC in there would be dead, save perhaps for a few who had ways of protecting themselves from such things.

Also, you did this twice.

I apologise if this seems harsh, but I was trying to draw your attention to what would happen when you start throwing around attacks of that magnitude in the relatively confined space inside of a tavern.

They weren't actually frag grenades, they merely had the explosive power of one, which isn't all that much as far as explosives go. Also, they split by shattering into eight pieces, the spread of which can be altered. The spread in that case was on "very low" and it was previously mentioned that the bar was made of semi-indestructible material, and as I was firing at something behind it it would have protected random bystanders from a lot of the blast. That's my logic.

Logic or no, it's fine to say the npcs at Trog's survived that incident. But if you use that weapon again, you can probably expect npcs to be less fortunate. Any time something with an area attack happens in a public place, players are free to roleplay npc casualties, and often do.

The npcs at Black Dragon seem to be quite dead though.
