Default Looking for an old homebrew...

Hey. So, years ago Seerow and a bunch of other guys (myself included) had a long, drawn out flame war over fixing the D&D 3.5 Fighter class--yeah yeah, I mean, who hasn't?--but it resulted in a pretty good fighter fix, with combat styles (essentially branching feat trees), and a bunch of other fixes.

But, it seems that the Internet ate it, best I can tell. Does anyone know if that thread/class was ever mirrored anywhere?

Well, if it was in this Homebrew forum, it is probably still here... just hte forum search might not be finding it...
try the following format at Google:
    site:www.giantitp.com <Search terms>

EDIT: Hmmm.... not showing anything actually. WAS it on these forums? Because I don't think the old homebrew stuff gets cleaned out like most of the other forums do.

Nah, it was on the Wizards boards, but they've been paved over so many times my account is lost in the sands of time as well. I'm trying to get my account re-activated over there, but in the meantime I figured I'd ask around and see if anyone has a backup copy.

Here's a bunch of random Fighter fixes from these boards that might serve as a substitution for the one that you lost.

Complete Fighter Fix by Realms of Chaos
    Single-Weapon Fighter by Revan Ordo
The Fighter Incarnate by Ernir, a personal favorite.
Three Base Class Alternatives by Lix Lorn
    Heroic Fighter by Chambers
    Tactical Fighter by Frozen_Feet
Art of War Fighter by Bears With Lasers
The newest addition by Zeigrander, who is aiming for a Tier 2 class

There is also the Traditional Fighter Resource Thread

Dust: Two of your links seem to lead to the same place (the first one, and the one with the cartoonish swearing in it).

Good catch, thanks. I had doublebookmarked it accidentally.

DracoDei: Two of your posts seem to say the same thing.

If asked the question "how can I do this within this system?" answering with "use a different system" is never a helpful or appreciated answer.
