    Default Making custom magical crystals?

    Hey guys,

I was wondering if there were RAW rules for customising Crystals like in the MiC, or something akin to it. Basically detachable weapon enhancements for things like Flaming, Frost, etc. Probably not too game breaking but wondering if I have to resort to asking DM permission for this.

Dragonshard Pommel, from Eberron: The Forge Of War. For 1.5x the cost of enchanting a sword, you can instead enchant a rock that can be attached to various swords. Unlike Weapon Crystals, it replaces existing enchantments rather than overwrites them.

Particularly nice on those... etherblades was it? The weapons which shoot blasts of force but have a limited number of charges.

If you use standard weapon crystals as well (and maybe a wand chamber), it's like a collapsible rifle with exchangable magazines.

    EDIT: Um...
it replaces existing enchantments rather than overwrites them.
I think the second part should be "adds to them".
