EDIT: What are your system specs Val?

Core 2 Duo @ 3.16. 3 GB RAM. GPU is a nForce 730i, which is "like" a GeForce 9300, in theory. Physical memory on the 730 is 256MB, virtual is set to 1.4GB.

The benchmark video has me sitting on 9FPS average, but in game it "feels" fairly smooth with the above settings.

Answering the questions...

Graphics card: Not sure if I checked this the right way, but it appears to be "Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family".

A graphics tweak to make it run faster would, sadly, be unhelpful. Mostly since it won't start up at all to begin with.

Getting a new graphics card would be impossible, I'm afraid. I have a laptop. About all I can add to this particular one is more memory, which would be unhelpful in this case.


A pity, really. It was either this or getting myself a copy of Ikaruga and Okami, both of which I've wanted for years. Ah well, at least I got a batch of JC2 copies for everyone (or very nearly 50% of everyone). It's all good.

Getting Mount&Blade Warband to work now. Hopefully.

See, the game called for a serial. A ####-####-####-#### serial. What Steam gave me was #####-#####-#####-#####-#####.

So yeah. Problem.

Turns out that if you buy a boxed copy, that registers on Steam, and the box contains a code that matches what the Steam copy asks for.

If you bought it on Steam? You will have to download it from the TaleWorlds (I think that's what it was called) site, install that and use the serial you got off Steam. Nothing short of a lengthy Google binge reveals this.

Starting to get a bit annoyed at today's turn of events.
