    Emalus takes aim at the gnoll directy across the road from him. The gnoll draws his bow and piers out from behind his tree. Emalus beats him to the punch, striking him directly in the face. The gnolls head is instantly annihilated, and the bolt continues with most of its momentum into a tree. The gnolls in that area all begin shouting in gnollish and pointing at Emalus. Three arrows are fired at him; 2 lodging in the oxybeles, and 1 barely grazing his ear.

    Deklin moves to engage Gnolls 1-3.

    Keepinghis horse spurred on he tightened his grip on the reins and saw a likely target, a gnoll near a tree close by. He saw an athlan man on a horse severely injured near the tree, and Deklin couldn't see if he was still alive or not. He charged to the mans aide.

    Aramil takes another two arrows from between his legs and sends them off into another gnoll he sees. He also gives a quick check to look at his reserves, making sure that there are still plenty of arrows left to rain down upon the gnolls.

    After dispatching another gnoll, Deklin gets a good look at the cavalier near him. He's slumped over, but held in place firmly with a military saddle. His wounds are fatal, but have not claimed his life yet.

    Continuing on the way to the gnolls as they retreat, arrows whizzing by his horse, and finding no purchase, he grinned and spurred on to engage one of the gnolls.

    Aramil jumps off the carriage and checks on the horses. The front 2 wheels are lodged deeply in the mud. Both horses have been wounded by arrows and are extremely panicked. One of them appears to have broken its leg bucking and lurching on the uneven ground. He manages to untether both horses, so they do not hurt themselves any further.

    Then, all of a sudden, Hunter comes bolting out of the woods. "Time to pack it up grunts!"

    The gnolls appear to be retreating, and Hunter is urging everyone to move on. The 2 front wheels of the wagon are stuck in the mud, and one of the horses has a broken leg. The other horse has an arrow wound, and is trotting away. The wagon that was in front of you is now out of sight, and the Athlan cavalryman has gone after it. The unconscious cavalryman is still secured to his horse, it is unclear whether or not he is stable. Both wagoners are unconscious. One has just been stabilized by Emalus.

    Emalus runs over to the horse with the broken leg, pulls out the arrow, and quickly casts lesser vigor. The horse freaks out, and bucks wildly, narrowly missing Emalus with a hoof. After using another scroll on the wagoner, he starts after the runaway horse. This horse is trotting slowly, pausing occasionally to try to shake the arrow out of its rump. Whenever Emalus tries to get near him, he keeps his distance.

    Cleavon moves over to the unconscious cavalier. Little seems to have changed since you last got a look at him. There is more blood than before, and it still looks wet.

    The unconscious cavalier's wounds seem to have closed, but his breathing is still shallow. His shield arm is tangled up in the reins preventing his already slight chance of falling off his mount. Like your horse, his is a heavy warhorse, brave, and trained to keep its cool in battle. They may be larger than typical Athlan horses, but they are bread to have hooves large enough to spread the load out, even when taking a rider with full panoply of plate armor. As a result, their footing remains sure, even in this loose soil.

    Aramil attempts to take a look at the horses leg, but as soon as he reaches out to touch the horse, it springs to its feet and tries to run, injuring itself even worse. It collapses to the ground again and begins bucking and whining.

    Staying atop his horse Deklin moved to the side where the man was listing and righted him, trying to keep the two horses side by side so he could use an arm to keep the man steady, not wanting the ride to jar any wounds open. Making his way back to the caravan.
