AMEN doesn't have secrets. Its members might, but the last person you wanna trust is a card carrying villian...

Which only works within AMEN, and if you're a member.

Re: Nexus OoC V: Suxen Eht Nioj!
... I'm pretty sure copypasting text from the Wikipedia article on General Sherman doesn't count as posting political material, right?
It's not really supporting any one political side... I think...
I can, like, get rid of it and stuff... mostly I wanted to have someone write lots and lots of things on the Wall.
Bleh, I'm all paranoid now.
Whatever. It's nothing but silliness now.
Apparently the Confederate Army hid on the moon.Last edited by Beans; 2010-11-06 at 12:21 AM.

Organization Wall Tag.

I read "tag" and thought you meant HALO was tagging AMEN on Facebook. Is this bad?
Also: I can no longer be indecisive.

Re: Nexus OoC V: Suxen Eht Nioj!
Because it's the easiest way to explain. Essentialy he just lacks charms. However, if you take offence I'll refer to him as a Proto-Exalt from now on.

Re: Nexus OoC V: Suxen Eht Nioj!
He's from a universe where the gods tried to copy the Exalted. Edgar was their first (failed) attempt.and I know, that's why I edited the post to explain it was his abilities (all two of them) he sealed away, not his actual Exaltation.

Re: Nexus OoC V: Suxen Eht Nioj!
Well, if you lay any claim to a common story or official universe and then don't follow it, it's noticeable.
But a sort of pseudoexalted, half-only, from a rather different universe, actually makes enough sense.
Though I still can't see any way it would allow him to make a scroll of teleportation.

Re: Nexus OoC V: Suxen Eht Nioj!
The scroll doesn't work, he was attempting to trick Moff with a over-compicated paln. It didn't work either.

Re: Nexus OoC V: Suxen Eht Nioj!
...Charity, don't start arguing about morality when you're talking about gods in Creation...
oh, wait. You've done it already. And to a No Moon.
{{Essentially, there is no meaning to a Good/Evil morality system in Exalted. At all. Part of what I like about the game.
Also, badmouthing a deity to a priest of the deity in question never ends well. }}
That said, I want Charity to encounter Long Tooth some time, because he'd be the best at answering that question.

Re: Nexus OoC V: Suxen Eht Nioj!
There is totally meaning to it. Or there can be. Good and evil aren't absolutes like in D&D, say, but they still exist. People can still believe in them. There is still morality to actions, or no one would care that much of anything. I can't believe that all Exalted-related things are totally amoral.
Luna is a sneaky, treacherous thing. But loyal and protective too, and commits good and evil acts, at different times. The morality of being a literal god in its setting...totally relative. But it exists, in that relative context.
Besides, what's so bad that he's a No Moon, and not any old deist?
@EDIT: What question would that be?

Re: Nexus OoC V: Suxen Eht Nioj!
No Moons are priests of Luna.
The question would be 'what gives them the right to call themselves gods?'
Quite simple: they oversee something on a metaphysical level, so they're gods of that particular thing.
...well, Zamira or Meidani could do it, too.

Re: Nexus OoC V: Suxen Eht Nioj!
And Charity's answer would be that qualifies him to call himself an overseer, and entitles him to the obedience of underlings in the performance of his tasks, just as any other supervisor / employee relationship. But that it doesn't entitle him to worship or to obedience of anyone in areas outside that domain.
She's very militantly atheist, though she normally has better sense than to randomly engage in religious arguments. She wasn't at her best though after the ptsd flashback, and arguing helped get her out of it.
Magtok is still dead meat though, once she finds out it was him. Figuratively, of course. Militant pacifist as well as militant atheist. My avatar! Isn't it just utterly diabolical? Ashen Lilies made it!

Re: Nexus OoC V: Suxen Eht Nioj!
Killing ≠ Murder?
As far as I remember, Jazirian's shot a couple of soldiers, who were busy trying to kill everyone in GLoG. And hit an innocent bystander once, though only because Maralah purposefully deflected his fireball into said bystander.
...
That was a pretty bitchy move, actually.
Phoenix... I can't recall? Certainly while acting as Lucretia's mindslave, but I don't remember him killing anyone otherwise, though then again, he might well have. Kris' memory is fuzzy when it comes to Phoenix. He just keeps flip-flopping from your traditional smity paladin to ultra-pacifistic über-wimp, and back again. =(
Not trying to make a big deal of things, I'm just wondering if there are any holes in my memory that need fixing.Originally Posted by Lord Magtok

Re: Nexus OoC V: Suxen Eht Nioj!
Murder = What in KK's definition?
Jazirian never had to fend off his horde from adventurers or something?
Phoenix killed zombie Irene, though not even I count that one.
The vampire thing definitely works against him though.

Re: Nexus OoC V: Suxen Eht Nioj!
I hope you aren't asking me to fill memory holes.
Sunny is very child like in a lot of ways, and children tend to see morality as black or white. Shades of gray and necessary killing are hard for her to judge. My avatar! Isn't it just utterly diabolical? Ashen Lilies made it!
