Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXXIV - "Go Go Power Lanterns!"
SpoilerGoblins chew and goblins bite,
Goblins cut and goblins fight,
Stab the dog and cut the horse,
Goblins eat and take by force!
Chase the baby, catch the pup!
Bonk the head to shut it up!
Bones be cracked, flesh be stewed,
We be goblins! You be food!

He dosen't have any feet. :|
Also, I suggest giving him a wider waist and have his legs farther apart.Last edited by CrimsonAngel; 2011-02-11 at 04:16 PM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXXIV - "Go Go Power Lanterns!"
Yeah that too.
Also I didn't bring this up because I'm assuming it's just something with this particular character but the face looks dead. Like a reanimated corpse used to fool a loved one into revealing the location of the secret gold stash on...
...I'm sorry I lost my train of thought.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXXIV - "Go Go Power Lanterns!"
Next week is GB week, and dresses are cute. :3
It's being rebooted because it falled flat the first time.
Reinds me I forgot those kobold samurai.
Looks pretty good to me, the face looks a bit like it should be looking to the right but is not for some reason, though.
But that's just me.Treasured Quotes

Well can I see it on a different character? Maybe I'll like it then.
Also I'd like to see how you do female characters.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXXIV - "Go Go Power Lanterns!"
Then no....just make a comic and dont worry about art or writing quality. We are making these comic mostly for fun and self improvement....if you have no idea how to get into the plot, then just draw yourself standing next to someone else saying hi and watch what happens
Easy enough, no?

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXXIV - "Go Go Power Lanterns!"
I havn't yet got a female (new) template, I'm honing my male one first.
Hehe, the fact I usually do nipples and bewbs on my base templates means that base female templates tend to be revealing...
I have no clue why I do that though...
Also I'm thinking about starting up a new Plot with a High Tech sorta setting I'm currently working out some details of it so I won't actually say anything more. But I wan't it to sorta be a futureistic war based setting.
Details to come laterI'm technically but I refuse to admit it!QuotesI'm an Artist!, If you want an Avatar just PM me your specifics - Avatar by Me!

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXXIV - "Go Go Power Lanterns!"
Make Roth (Thor) disappear by not believing in him.
Which is funny but kind of have me scratching my head about how that works if he's a parody of Thor.
I mean, nobody believed in Thor between the Christianising of Scandinavia and his return in the twentieth century and he seem pretty solid and not-fading.
But then again, there are forces at work here that not even the gods ever imagined!
Most of them involving colourful jewelry.Treasured Quotes

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXXIV - "Go Go Power Lanterns!"
Right! I've desided to abandon my old art style and take up my new art style whilst on my netbook... so as soon as my desktop is fixed i'll continue my Dawn of Yesterday comic in my old style.
I like my new style... It makes me giggle so I shall be using it for ABR from now on :P
Now i have to start on Fayte as a member of "the faceless" and as "the gifted" as examples for my new plot idea... as soon as I come up with some example tech and explanations for this plot idea I'll put it forward to you lot and see if you think it'll be any goodLast edited by Fay Graydon; 2011-02-13 at 12:21 PM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXXIV - "Go Go Power Lanterns!"
Okay this is Fayte dressed as a member of the faction "the faceless" named such due to their helmet's obsuring their face.
They are trained killers, above the law, sent out to hunt those who utilise Magical Amplifier's to unlock certain strands of DNA in their bodies.
The Faceless use top of the range energy weapons with self sustaining and recharging powercells that overheat and require "venting" to quickly bring control of the weapon back to normal peramiters to continue fireing.
The faceless also have body suits, reinforced with titanium weave and plates, they have braced spinal armour that hooks around the front of the suit giving the appearence of the claws gripping the body.
Their helmet feeds tactical data via uplink to a HUD on the inside and suit functions can be adjusted via neral interfaces at the back of the neck and down the spine of the suit.
Because of how the Magical Amplifier technology "the gifted" utilise helps focus their concentration, a way "The faceless" have found to counter act it is to have a high pitched frequency to disrupt ones consentration making it hard for "the gifted" to focus and utilise magical abilities such as form construction of elements, creation of minor quantities of matter or manipulation of energy. thus giving a faceless hunter an opening of which to eliminate the threat. The helmet of the suit is able to filter the frequency so that the faceless hunter is unaffected by the high pitched frequency as well as filtering out other sounds and voices.
He'res a suit example with a standard particle beam sidearm modeled by Fayte:
Feedback? what do people think of "The Faceless"? and as soon as I get a chance I'll design an example of the sort of tech one of "the Gifted" might use.
(also if this DOES become a new plot... one rule about magic... it can only be utilised if a person who has a correct DNA stain to allow them to use magic, can only use magic with a Magical amplification deveice (MAD))
EDIT:
Cuz it looks cool...

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXXIV - "Go Go Power Lanterns!"
1. What exactly disallows ANY mage just to make some sound proof suits of their own? If they're capable of acquiring such technological marvel as MAD, then some noise filters wouldn't be much of a problem now, right?
2. That faceless suit looks cool, but if I were you I would work on facial expressions a bit more....right now Fayte gives me the impression like he's about to puke....
