THAT CAT sniffs back at Mister Buttons.

It lowers its ears, a bit scared of the sabertooth tiger.

*Elephantiasis much?

Mister Buttons twitches his tail and uses his paw to try and push Eldy out of the way of his spot. He responds to the question with a meow.

"RAWR."

[VampireRot]

"Reow!"*

THAT CAT is pushed, and scrambles to its feet. Hair standing on end and tail all poofy, the poor kitten races away at top speed. It looks for something to hide under.

*Unholy ukulele!

Mister Buttons smirks in that way only cats can before curling up in his spot and basking. Ahhh... sun.

It's not in there.

Rae says, scanning around with his ring. He picks up an energy signature quite similar to the one that the ooze gave off. He flies toward it, and stops when he sees Mr. Buttons and the Eldritch Abomination.

KITTIES!

He shouts, diving toward That Cat.

THAT CAT is even more freaked out. It yowls loudly as it swerves expertly out of the way. The little black kitten changes direction and dives for a porch, trying to wriggle under it.

Of course there's a porch. It's a campsite with log cabins. PORCHES ARE A NECESSITY.

Rae flies to the porch, gets down on his hands and knees, and says, using his ring to translate feline,

Aw, what's wrong little kitty? Did mean old Mr. Buttons scare you?

"Mroworissack!"*

THAT CAT hisses.

*Farmers intestine joke freaks ghost!

Ah. Yes. Though the cat-speak is interpretative, THAT CAT isn't actually intelligible. The eldritch abomination says mostly gibberish.

NO YOU FOOL! THAT'S THE ELDRITCH ABOMINATION!!!! Riv shouts, horrified.

Yes, yes, and the chicken flies at the noon of night, but I don't have time for old Popsterian jokes. Why don't you come out here, kitty? I won't hurt you.

Rae is giving off an aura of calm as he speaks to THAT CAT. He ignores Riv, his head too full of kitty thoughts to really pay attention.

THAT CAT... is severely unaffected. Eldritch abomination.

"Hiss!"*

*Dogspitting opinion-taker!

Alrighty then... I guess I'll wait until you calm down then.

Rae says, sitting himself on the ground next to the porch.

THAT CAT blinks.

Okay then.

It sits down under the porch and starts licking itself clean.

It's a cat as well as an eldritch abomination.

Rae is sitting there, glowing blue, smiling and thinking adorable, cat filled thoughts, and will continue to do so unti THAT CAT comes out from under the porch.

He might be there for a while.

THAT CAT gives no signs of coming out. It sits there contentedly.

Rae is prepared to wait, he closes his eyes and starts humming softly, the glow surrounding him softening too.

THAT CAT, after a while, just falls asleep.

"Mroowwzzzz."*

The stranger in the cloak looks at Reel. "Alright, then. So... anyone I can talk to?"

The glow around Rae fades completely as he too drifts into sleep.

Tony the cleric has left the infirmary and is now wandering around.

[Elm Cabin > GLoG Grounds]

I wouldn't throw it out. Something could eat it. That wouldn't be good. Riv says, standing up and walking out of Elm Cabin. Once outside of Elm Cabin he begins to walk in a wide circle around GLoG, thinking. This place was not what he expected. He had heard it was a place of redemption, but to him it seems more like a temple to chaos than anything. He's probably quite a sight to anyone nearby, as he's covered in bloodstains and the right side of his coat is both scorched and covered in chunks of ice.

Quinn sighs, watches him go, then gets mauled by the vengeful ghost of continuity.

Jamie, meanwhile, undeadtimes, thwaps her player, then starts wandering around as well!

Might just run into ol' Tony Sciano, perhaps.

Andy sees a cat getting the black Ooze back and shakes his head.

"It's funny here."

Then he turns tu Quinn with his form

Well, this seems to all be in order, Mr. Emeral. Welcome to the Good League of Good."
She holds out her hand for shaking with a smile.

He takes her hand with his right hand.
After that Andy goes to the broken window seeing Riv and the other guy who cut Rivs arm following the cat.

"I think the guy who helped Riv is going to handle the Ooze.
Oh, do you have any questions about me?"

"None that I can think of at the moment," Quinn says with a smile, before getting nommed by deadtime ooze and continuity.

"OK."

Andy left Elms Cabin and walks around GloG, but he avoids to go outside where the Ooze Cat is.

Emily, who had been deadtimed through the drama, asks her player for a recap quickly. She seriously needs to leave that poor wall alone, three isn't enough.

Emily walks to a short distance behind Rae, wondering if she can help. She is POINTEDLY IGNORING Riv, mostly because she'd quite enjoy bashing his head in and doesn't want to face temptation.

Rae awakens to the sound of footsteps behind him and looks back to see Emily. He smiles, and says softly,

Hey. You wanna help me with this? Quiet though, I don't want to spook the little guy.

[Fan]

After a suitably awkward moment of silence.. Lloyd gets himself examined in the infirmary by the automated NPC doctor who decides that aside from some psychosis, and some light nerve damage that would dull his ability to feel.. anything.. for quite some time, if not his entire life; he is fine, and released from custody after a few various healing magicks.

He then proceeds to wander GLoG, looking for a cafeteria in which to stuff his non proverbial feeding hole, and to get some nourishment that he has been lacking for weeks.
