You're thinking of the wrong class. MG doesn't have a design drawer, she's a mechanist. It's the Tinkertrons that get design drawers. Sure, if you have a tinkertron and a mechanist on the same team, the tinkertron can give them both design drawers, but we don't have a tinkertron.
Actually, it's kinda mean how underpowered they made the tinkertron. It can only have one minion at a time, and while it can boost it up, not very high.
The only time it's better than having a Biomancer, a Biotechnician, or a Machinist, is when you have one of each on your team already.

That's exactly what it's for though - you don't play tinkertron when you're playing pubs unless you want to get stomped, you play with with a group that's all going minion-heavy anyway so your buffs help everybody and you have the widest range of augments from each of their classes. In a team environment like that, it can be an incredibly effective class, though I agree it's a bit weird to have a class that only works well in such a specific situation.

Well, I guess it's not entirely useless in other situations. I forgot just how much it can pimp out the mechanofortress if he doesn't build a minion of his own. A tinkertron on mechanofortress-gaurding duty is a pretty scary foe, considering everything it can do with all the various defenses, resources, and other things. Still, though, he's still pretty useless for anything not related to upgrading the mechanofortress or granting his class features to other players.
I know he can grant a design drawer to mechanists, biomancers, and biotechnitians...
I'm fairly certain he can grant Tool Drivers to spies, mechanists, and Screwballs (why did genco make that class?)...
I think he can grant Scanrays to Speardancers, Geargrinders, and psions.
And, of course, all the elemental varieties of any of those classes available with that one expansion....
Still, though, not many of those abilities are actually useful in many situations. It's completely as if Gencola is Delicious!

You PICK UP one of the castle’s DISPOSABLE SERVANTS and drag him out of the way. His clothes FIT PERFECTLY and the guard will PROBABLY NOT BE MISSED. The gun is, unfortunately, ENTIRELY COSMETIC. However, this is made up for by the fact that your DISGUISE is perfect and entirely WITHOUT FLAW. There is no way you can possibly be recognized by anyone.

Now that you are dressed like a SPY (which is to say, not like a SPY at all) you are ready to do some proper SPYING.

My guess would be a Technomacer, which is a necromancer / mechanic-type thing.

Ooh, didn't notice the faceplates.

Their Ensoulled Constructs though, which makes them vulnerable to some stuff that purely mechanical creatures are immune to. I Don't think she's a Technomancer though, she doesn't have goggles, or a wrench, or a clockwork arm or anything.

She's defiantly controlling those guards though. A Necromancer could control Ensoulled Constructs if they focused on Spectral Minions enough, but that's rather suboptimal. She's called a "Child of the Moirae", a Shadow Warlock maybe? I think they can raise Ensoulled Constructs.

Well, I know what class she is. She's gone and installed the Clerics and Cream expansion right in the middle of the game, after having the Relics and Races, as well as Goons and Gremlins.
Installing an expansion in the middle of a game is always risky, but Clerics and Cream is famous for the shear number of ways you can cheat through that method. Usually, when you install an expansion mid game, it will let you pick a class, in case you wanted that one instead. It does this with Clerics and Cream, but instead of doing a full switch, it overlaps your classes, so that you get "The best and worst of both worlds". You do have to start at level 1 again if you switch, which discourages mid-game installs, but...
She's taken an ancestory from Relics and Races, Moirae, which boosts her casting in any class capable. She had the Necromancer class, and then when she installed Clerics and Cream, she took the MechanoMaster class, which comes with Clerics and Cream, but requires Goons and Gremlins to actually use.
There have been numerous patches to try and fix this glitch, but as it still exists, one gets the feeling that He or She needs more Gencola! Genco definitely knows what their doing. Enjoy Gencola!
