It probably is fake, but maybe someone is actually going to do a fan film? If so, that may be worth watching. But, I kinda suspect it's just a hoax

The special effects are much too cheap if it is supposed to be an American film; if it is supposed to be a Japanese film in the tradition of monsters in suits and no CG it would have Japanese actors. The people also don't look pretty enough for American actors.

I think for one Nintendo would be all over this in announcing it, since it would score big money. Secondly if it would be a real Pokemon movie it would be targeted at kids, which this clip is too violent for.

It's a fan-made fake. If Pokémon were to get an official live-action film, Nintendo would spend at least enough money to make it look at least as good as the live-action Other M commercial.

It's not a "real" Brawl film. It's a fan-created work, hence the alternate characterizations and occasionally cringe-worthy mispronunciation of Samus Aran. Also the obviously low-budget costuming (TWBB's Samus has nowhere near as awesome a costume as this cosplayer...) and plushie Pokémon.

I wouldn't say it's been slowly dying out. I'd say the first generation has been slowly outgrowing it, yes, but I'd say it seems to have reached a stable point. It's no longer a super big hit but it is something that will keep going on as long as they make new games. Like Black and White which are about to come out.

They made Megaman 10 this year; it's a downloadable title. Also even when they stopped making Megaman games they were making Megaman X, Megaman Zero, Megaman ZX, and Megaman NT Warrior games.

Yes blatant use of machine guns would kill it. Although they did have an episode with guns in the anime way back when. Pikachu was scared of guns and had to undergo police training to overcome that fear.

I don't find that very plausible. How many american heroes are downright immune to bullets? What was the last time you saw a member or villain of the Justice league go down to bullets?

Personally, I'd watch it. Just like the Legend of Zelda movie that was fan-made. Sure, it's not the best thing out there, but you don't watch it because of that. You watch it because you think it might be fun, and/or because you're interested in seeing a movie about a series you love.

I would hope not. It'd be incredibly boring if every movie in the world was Citizen Kane. Not to mention awkward-

Anyway, I wouldn't mind if this was real-it'd be nice to see a live action film. Can't be as bad as some of the animated ones; or even a fan-series like TWBB.
