As for her "sensing aura", I thought that was already established - at least to the degree that she could see Raoul's horns. Still, I got the impression that her line about Fong's "air" wasn't talking about aura. Instead, it was an empathic statement: "I've never seen your uncle even slightly annoyed, Ben, but I'd swear that, under that controlled expression, he's really ticked off!"

I think Saitomi is a vanilla human, she can see the horns because she's awakened. Sensing Auras is something that only certain Codexes, or specific individuals can do.

I don't think Satomi has shown any aura-sensing ability. Hell, I can sense the asskicking eminating from fong through the comic, so I doubt she'd have trouble.

Another way to read what happened: The kid that got inked by Bishop was an Angel, correct? Theoretically, the kid is now a Descended Angel... or more simply, a fallen angel, or demon. What ability is it common for demonic entities to have? Possession.

The inked guy could be from some codex with shapeshifting abilities. Angels were said to come down to earth in human form in certain mythologies.
