The knife-whelp nods approvingly. "That's an awful lot of guessing 'bout the layout of the place, but if it works I'm all fer it."

Re: The Tribes of Tell Amakh (Part 1 IC)
The young whelp girl with the axe turns to look at the others, speaking up, "I'll hold the choke point if it comes to that. The wolves should make everything much easier...they can't be touched, but they can touch you."
"Archer, if you are going back to the find Balegas, I think you should take Menek with you."

Re: The Tribes of Tell Amakh (Part 1 IC)
"I believe the arrival of the spirit wolves to be a sign. The moment we knew we couldn't free the prisoners alone, they came to our aid. For me, this means we should procede in this. I'm backing your plan, and though I couldn't contribute much to the planning, volunteer for holding the chokepoint. I believe I'm suited to the task, even though a longer weapon would make things easier."
He draws his sword and thrusts the tip into the ground, leaning both hands on the pommel.
"We should take Menek out to the horses before we begin, though, since we'll have to retreat as fast as possible. And we need to clear up who will take a prisoner with him on the horse, especially since they might not be able to hold on themselves."

Seeing as there is nothing the whelp with the snake wants to add to the plan, she moves like a ghost to the exit from the partys cave, and takes a position near to the cave that the group plans the rescue from.
SpoilerI wont make the stealth roll for moving in to the next cave until the DM gives the okayLast edited by MikelaC1; 2010-12-17 at 07:27 AM.

Re: The Tribes of Tell Amakh (Part 1 IC)
The smallest whelp replies to the sinuous whelp, "I'll accompany you".
She then turns to the whelp with the sword, "If you'd like a longer weapon for the chokepoint, you may borrow my spear. And if anyone needs a ranged weapon, I will not need my bow in the caves either."
Turning towards the archer whelp she continues, "Menek can use my horse, and the other whelps would be best taken by the lightest of us", and she nods towards the white haired whelp, the axe wielding whelp, and the whelp with the sword. (Archdeacon's, Holocron's, and Partysan's whelps could each take a rescued captive - assuming we get them out )Last edited by Stormwind; 2010-12-17 at 08:08 AM.

Re: The Tribes of Tell Amakh (Part 1 IC)
With a thankful nod the cloaked whelp recieves the spear, pushing his sword back into the scabbard. As he watches the snake whelp leave, he suddenly blurts out "Take care!". Slighty embarrassed he then continues towards both girls: "I'd rather have you recieve a name standing next to me than at your funeral, you know..."
After a few seconds he turns away, gripping the spear tightly and trying to prepare himself for the upcoming tasks.

The axe-wielding girl nods to the small one and proceeds with the party to the Iceman cave, her axe resting on her shoulder. Looking grimly ahead towards the cave, she mutters, "So this is it, then. Excellent; let's get started."

The smallest whelp taps a barbed dagger at her belt, "Silent enough."
She then moves just outside to see for herself the rest of the spirit wolves. Once there, she attempts to communicate with the spirit wolves using the standard commands and tricks used within the Tell Farh.

Being one of the ones to potentially hold the cave mouth, the white-haired whelp also stands nearby the cave mouth, but hopefully enough out of sight to not be immediately noticed.

Re: The Tribes of Tell Amakh (Part 1 IC)
Freeing the prisoners - preparation
The archer whelp takes the horses and the injured wolf warrior over the raging iceflow and after securing the horses under his care, makes his way into position at the edge of the woods oposite the cave entrance, about 40 feet away. In the shadow of the cave, a lone iceman can be seen, standing guard.
Under the leadership of the smallest whelp, 3 whelps quietly make their way towards the cave entrance. They end up just outside the cave, withing striking distance of the guard that is positioned just inside the entrance.
The rest follow the sneaking whelps towards the cave entrance, but stay back far enough to avoid detection.
The spirit wolves follow the last group, silently offering their assistance.
You are in position to strike.

Re: The Tribes of Tell Amakh (Part 1 IC)
The three sneaky whelps make their way a few steps forward, where the cave bends to the left. Faint flickering light can be seen from further in and two voices discussing something in the language of the icemen can be heard.
A quick peek shows you the situation:
The cave widens about 5 steps beyond the bend. Three icemen guard a chamber big enough for 10 or more. One is seated on a rock to the left, the other two face each other directly in front of a tunnel leading off deeper into the hill. From the wolf warrior who escaped you know that there are two more tunnels, one left and one right.

Re: The Tribes of Tell Amakh (Part 1 IC)
The axe-whelp watches as the snake whelp and the small one take out the first guard with surprising ease, and blinks in admiration. As the small one gives the signal to dispose of the body, the young skald moves up and hefts it up, setting it gently in the water so as not to make a splash, which could attract attention. With that done, she motions for the rest of the main attack force to move up, closer to the entrance, so that they can respond more quickly should they be needed.

Re: The Tribes of Tell Amakh (Part 1 IC)
The knife-whelp creeps up silently towards the guard on the rock, a dagger sliding into his nimble hands. As he advances, he glances over his shoulder at the other two whelps and deftly motions towards the two remaining guards.
