Those are indeed shiny shinies. Shinier than any shinies I've seen for a long time. I think. Memory's a little foggy.

"Shinies...?" Cessie says skeptically, the use of words not really her own, the phrase 'shiny shines' leaves her a bit... stunned though. "Um, anyway, I suppose we should head to the Stuffamancy section, who comes up with these names anyway? And what in the world is 'naughtymancy'?" She shakes her head, thinking it's all a bit stupid.

How am I supposed to get out? Teleporting doesn't work here, remember?

I've already been through there. The only things I found were crops and ruins.

JUST SHUT UP. Mr. Cat says, and releases the void. Instantly all the derbis clogging the core is ripped to shreds again and again until nohing is left, leaving a massive blank spot in the center once more. Rae should be just far enough away that he can still feel it's pull, unless he's moved a significant distance while talking. Much, much better.

"We could go for dollamancy." offers Emily. "I think I'm allowered in there."

She hides the shines again before anyone gets any ideas.

"Now that that matter is settled I suggest we leave this place and return the LANTERN." Nite says, looking disgruntled.

Ooh, sorry, don't like shutting up. Can I go now?

Rae asks, just a little annoyed.

Dollamancy? Sounds alright to me. Let's see if I can get an invitation too.

Rae says, waving his hand as a small black dog made of deni appears scampering around.

You may go, I need to talk to this fool. Mr. Cat says, pointing at Rae, and a portal appears next to Nite.

Nite gives them both a stern look, "Remember, enough fighting," and he steps through the portal.

Fool? I am many things, Cat, but I am no fool.

Rae says, crossing his arms.

And now that he is gone, let's drop the pretenses, shall we. I dislike you, you dislike me, how can we coexist peacefully?

I do not dislike you. Otherwise I wouldn't have spared you, and gotten myself a good meal in the process. What I wish to know is this: What the hell are you?

"I found out that there where magic explosions, nothing I could say more. Dollmancy hmm I may have something here."

Zefir searches inside his bag he may need several minutes. After that he pulls out a little black pellet with white eyes 2 brown shoes a silver hat and a clockwork.

"Cessie. If you can, cast something related to..." Nath tries to recall what he read from the book. "Time, teleportation, enchantment or control of inanimate objects."

[Shadowcaller]

"Time and teleportation? Those might be a problem, what about enchantment? I could give you some extra energy to move around with." Cessie replies to Nath's question.

"And you were there already? Then where did the spider invite us too?"

You know what I mean. What were those tears, abd what was that energy you projected. Mr. Cat says, annoyed.

[Rae Artemi]

Tears? You mean the portals? I honestly have no idea. They just seem to happen. And as for the energy, it was all my own. Like I said, mostly human.

Rae says, shrugging. He can't control these things, so why worry?

And what exactly are you in addition to being human?

[Rae Artemi]

[Void]

That is the question, isn't it? That's the one I won't answer, too. Now, do you let me out, or do I make the tears come back?

Rae says, dead serious.

[ThirdEmperor]

Oh fine, I was polite and asked nicely. Mr. Cat says, and tastes Rae's energy. As shown before with Krystal's power ring, he can find out the properties of magical things by tasting him, and as he's currently slowly nomming at Rae, he should be able to tell exactly what he is.

"Well, I don't know if it will work but if it isn't an inconvenience for you, extra energy probably won't hurt me, at least...?"

Heh, sorry Cat, but that energy only comes out when I tell it to. All you're gonna get is my normal energies, and that won't tell you much about me. Everything I know of magic, I learned the hard way, it's all up here.

Rae says, tapping his head.

Now, you have ten seconds to let me out before I put myself in enough danger that the tears will come back.

I was invited to the brown, I just decided to come check out the red when I was done.

Well, as I can neither convince you to tell me out of friendship, as you seem to hate me, and can't find out for myself.... Mr. Cat says, and snaps his fingers. The void withdraws, ceasing to steal Rae's energies. Let's make a trade. I think you'll want to now what I am and what I'm planning, especially as I know you'll want to stop me.

Only one other living person knows what I am, and she isn't in NEXUS, and I have many friends, so it isn't because of a lack of friendship that I am not telling you.

Rae says, putting his right hand on his left sleeve.

And as for trading secrets, I'm not interested. I know the two things I need to know already, that you can be stopped, and that I can do it. Two seconds.

You have a pretty skewed view of events if you think you stopped me. Especially as I still have that energy you fed me tucked away, and until I use it all I can match you power for power. And before you leave, allow me to show you something. Mr. Cat says, and snaps his fingers. A portal appears, and at the same time a crystaline object begins to float towards Mr. Cat and Rae from a long distance. You will want to see this, even if you don't get to know the whole plan.

Oh, I don't think that I stopped you, I just know I can. The energy I gave you? I have so much more than that, and, unfortunately for you, I will not lose control again. Now, if you'll excuse me.

Rae removes his hand from his sleeve and plunges a white-bladed dagger into his chest. A tear appears and pulls Rae through, closing behind him.

Mr. Cat sighs at the drama, and vanishes.

Mr. Cat snaps his finger, and a tiny crystal appears in his hand. He concentrates and pours some of the energy he stole from Rae into it. Best to know what you're up against, after all. He grins, and takes a sip of milk.

Mr. Cat will find that the energy is, quite simply, power, and nothing else. It was a wave of pure, unfocused power. As the energy became yellower it became Holy, though the exact source of the holiness will be quite unclear. Along with the power, there was one thought that burned brightly. So long as you have my power, I will be able to find you. So long as there is Hope in the universe, I will be able to stop you.
