Default Re: Characters of the Town (OOC)

Forgive me for not being entirely accurate with the favored classes of Bugbears and Kobolds... I suppose Yyngvar's society was less about swords and stealing, and this specific Kobold society was more stabbity-death than spellcasting.

    Name:
    Yyngvar Selveyn.
    Race: Bugbear
    Eyes: Red.
    Fur: Urrnge.
    Age: Equivalent of Human 14.
    Height: 7 feet (Holy $#@!, I thought they were 3 or 4!)
Weight: I dunno, like 150lb, maybe 175. (For all you UKers and French and Canadian and all the weird people who use the metric system, convert it for yourself. What's it, like 1lb=2.2kg?)
    Diety: Hruggek
Lookies: Until I have enough time to draw a picture (likely to be tomorrow), he will simply be the one from the MM.
Bachstory: Ever since Yyngvar was dropped off in a kobold adoption center in a kobold village where only kobolds live, he was made fun of for being different. Every day, he would be teased and tormented. The kobolds, it seemed, had no distinct personalities. They were all just ordinary fighters with no multi-classing, prestiging, or any classes other than Fighter or Barbarian. One day, Yyngvar got sick and tired of being entirely teased, and he and his non-Koboldian religion decided to depart from the town, without telling anyone---not like they would care, anyway. While wandering in the forest, he realized that he was not even fast enough to catch a rabbit for food, for he had perpetually shirked his classes, and never practiced what he hated. He prayed to the gods that he might attain some physical prowess, and when he awoke, he discovered that he had fists of fury. He continued with his venturing for a few days before stumbling on into a Town.
Personalitay: Yyngvar has a lot of anger and hatred bottled up inside of him. He tries to keep his cool and start over, as though he had no past; but when provoked, he tends to fulminate. (Wordmasters word!!!)
    Items: Meat.
    Current place: Outskirts of town
    Associated with: ---
Common Knowledge: As of yet, no one at all has even heard of Yyngvar.
Notes: All the while, Yyngvar is plotting the downfall of all kobolds.
    Class: Monk
    Level: 1
    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral.

    STATS:
    Str:
    Pretty damn high.
Dex: Not too shabby, probably in the 14-16 range
    Con: 13 or 14.
Intelligence: Low. Definitely 8 or lower.
Wisdom: For a bugbear, this guy is actually pretty wise. He's [b]got, like, 16 or something.
Charisma: All his life, this poor, sad bugbear had to fend for himself and be ruthless. How charismatic do you reckon he can possibly be? But he tries... (*cough* -10 on diplomacy...)
Feats: Eh, I dunno. Probably some fighter things that he was forced to take but will never help him in his new class.
AC, initiative, etc: Hell, I got out my MM. Maybe I'll get my PHB after lunch or something.

Appearace: A human-shaped bloody mist in a large, hovering black cloak.

    Height:84"(7 ft)
    Weight:204 lb.
    Hair color:Brown
    Eye color:Hazel
    Age:32
    Gender:Male
    Stats:Dex:12 Int:28 Wis:20 Str:11 Con:16 Cha:12
Equipment:He has a staff of power, Gloves of dexterity, helm of teleportation, Hewards handy haversack, Robes of the archmagi(gray), Pharoah's Staff of Ruling strapped to Haversack( I'm not sure if this is in a source book somewhere or if it was a campaign specific item, but it has the following powers:clap of thunder, ball of lightning, and turns into large venemous snake), wands of polymorph, illumination, negation, and parylization in his belt pouch, a +2 dagger in a scabbard on the inside of his calf, a crystal ball in his haversack, a headband of intellect +6, a periapt of wound closure in his haversack, and countless others that I will not list here.
Alignment/temperamentHientz is Nuetral with chaotic tendencies/ He is slow to anger, but once he get's angry he quickly becomes irrational and violent. usually he is friendly.
Description:He is tall and lanky and his shaggy brown hair peeks out from beneath his helmet. His skin is slightly tanned and he has crows feet next to his eyes from smiling. He has a square jaw, thin pink lips, and a slightly curved nose.
    [Backstory]
Hientz was born in a small town off of one of the main trade routes. His father was a wood worker and his mother was the clerk at their shop. Being near a major trade route there were often strange people there.
One day just before Hientz turned 17 a dour old man, came to town. He was dressed in gray robes and held in his hands a smooth staff topped with a clear crystal. Now young Hientz was in awe of the old man and he began to follow him. After Hientz had followed him for a while he got bored and decided to play a prank on the old man, so he picked up a pebble and flicked it at the mage's head. Right before the pebble hit his head the mage whipped around, avoided the pebble and cast a spell on young Hientz, which picked him up by his feet and held him upside down. The old man slowly walked toward Hientz, who whimpered in fear. "So young man, did you need something? Or have you been following me for half the day for no reason?" said the old man in a raspy voice. Hientz didn't answer. The mage seemed to take a special interest in Hientz for he asked, quite casually, if Hientz would like to be his apprentice. Hientz, eyes wide and mouth agape, gave a slight nod. When he saw this the mage smiled and with a twinkle in his eye... dropped Heintz on his head. Afterwards Heintz learned that the mage's name was Kunta. He was apprenticed to Kunta for about 10 years when an assassin broke into the cottage that Kunta called home and stabbed Hientz's mentor in the chest, before having his head blown off by a fireball. The explosion woke Hientz who rushed to see what had happened. What he found was a headless corpse and Kunta lying in a puddle of his own blood. Before Kunta died he entrusted to Hientz 7 items: his spellbook, the robes he wore which were robes of the archmagi, his staff of power, his dagger, 2 wands, his Hewards haversack, and his crystal ball. Hientz vowed that he would avenge Kunta on whoever had hired the assassin. He adventured for a while to become powerful enough to get his revenge. Eventually when he deemed he was ready he used the crystal ball to scry his enemy and then attempted to teleport to face his opponent. However the spell went wrong and he woke up in The Town.

    Name:Graum Bridgetroll
    Race:Bridge Troll
    Class:Ranger:1
    Alignment: Neutral Good
Appearance:Slightly over seven feet tall, and easily over 400 pounds, with a giant head on top of a large and muscular body. His legs, though not exactly "short" are disproportionately shorter than his body, though also appear quite well muscled. From the bottom of his foot-wide grin jut two large white fangs. He is usually dressed in a hodge-podge of mismatched heavy leather and light mail, with a dark green woolen cloak hanging from his back to just below his waist, fitting him more like a cape. He wears sturdy leather boots and often carries either a club slung over his right shoulder, or instead carries a shepard's crook much like a walking staff, though he clearly doesn't need any support while walking.
    Ability Scores: STR: 22 DEX: 12 CON: 18 INT: 10 WIS: 14 CHA: 12
Special Qualities: Low light vision, slow movement (20 foot base move), DR 1/ cold iron, fast healing 1, +2 on saves vs. poison and disease, -2 on saves vs. enchantment effects, +4 morale bonus to all will saves and intimidation rolls when within site of "Home" ("Home" is usually a bridge, but could also be a gate, tunnel, or similar location related to travel or conveyance. It is possible to change the location the troll considers "Home", but to do so requires living in the new location for 1 month, plus 1 week per character level. As a result, the longer a troll stays in one location (and most likely, gains a couple levels), the less apt he will be to be willing to move elsewhere, since it will take longer to become comfortable in the new location. Younger (and lower level) trolls are able to adjust quicker, and are more willing to go to another spot with either better pickings, or less local resistance.), Furthermore, this breed of troll has a particularly keen sense of smell, and though they don't get it automatically, they may choose to take the Scent feat without any other prerequisites, Level Adjustment +1, Favored Class: Rogue

Backstory: Graum Bridgetroll's birth family died in an unexpected winter flood. He was rescued and raised by an adventuring party however, consisting of a Half-elven Ranger/Rogue ("Mom"), a Half-Orc Barbarian/Druid ("Pop"), a Dwarven Fighter/Cleric ("Ned"), and a Human Warlocke/Monk ("Uncle Geezer"). They spent many years as migrant adventurers, defeating villains for treasure in the good times and settling for hard work and fair wages when they had to. Though Graum learned to do many things that were against his nature, such as becoming a vegetarian, he longed to settle down someplace. They tried to help him become established at a number of nice bridges, and even a few decent caves, but there was always some mob of angry locals who come around brandishing torches and pitchforks until he'd pick up and move out. Graum needed a permanent place to call home, and in answer to the fey blood running through his giant veins, it should really be a bridge. But he needed to be able to move if and when things turned bad, and that usually happenned just after he got settled in to a new place.

Uncle Geezer was studying ways to turn a "Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion" spell into a mobile battlement for a king's troops, and the realization came to him that this might be the solution to Graum's troubles as well. He built an item that would call into existence a "semi-permanent" version of the spell, that could be packed up into itself with ease at any time. Ned worked with him on the design to make the the home in the form of a very nice bridge, which would have the practical application of being a portable bridge as well. Now that he's equipped with "Uncle Geezers Portable Bridge", Graum has all the comforts of home, and can pack up and move on short notice when the villagers start getting restless. It's worked quite well for the past couple of years, and now Graum has chosen to set up in an old riverbed North of Town between the Mountains and The Woods.

    Grizig, Currier for Hire

    [Stats and Description]
Not the largest goblin around Grizig often hunches over and scampers about on four or three limbs, making him look even smaller. A low level barbarian, Grizig sports a dazzling variety of scars; testaments to a tough life without a cleric. Sporting a bald head with a large claw mark marring and otherwise ugly face and a mouth full of pointy teeth, one would think that his was the kind of visage that gave children nightmares. Oddly enough however his oversized eyes and tattered ears have had some of the younger humaniods treat the little goblin as if he wasn't a boogeyman dreged up to keep them from playing in the streets.

Currently, Grizig can be seen skittering down the streets with a huge variety of weaponry juting out from all angles, the most impressive peice being a massive blade larger than himself, dragged behind him as he pelts about town.

    [Backstory]
Like most goblin's Grizig grew up in a clan pushed into the most inhospital of terrain by larger and more powerful creatures. Raised in the barren waste of a volcanic stretch of mountains the Flame Clan wished him to be a shocktrooper and die an ignomious death at the hands of some random adventurers for little more than a few coppers and a handfull of experience. Grizig choose instead to put his impressive speed to work for himself, and managed to become a currier and message boy, avioding the life of a grunt. But as he grew older and more experience, rags had to be filled, and as he became a raider his job was taken by younger goblins.

After one too many encounters with danger, Grizig felt his future lay elsewhere, or on the end of some silly elf's wand. Taking what loot he could from the last botched attempt on what should have been but a few ragtag travellers, Grizig set off away from his mountain home, towards a settlement by the sea where he hoped to find a more peaceful life.

    [Common Knowledge]
Even though he's not been around long, anyone can tell at a glance that the little goblin has a short attention span. Grizig's idea of waiting patiently is hopping from one foot to another while doing his best to keep from running off, in case what ever it was he was being patient for happened, and he missed it. Of course that doesn't mean he doesn't run off often, just that he tries not to.

    [Ongoing Storyline]
Looking to set up his buisness.

    Notes:
She is usually very nice to her "victims", buying them dinner and drinks; she even becomes friends with compatibly minded people afterwards. She prefers to use the hypnotic powers of her ball rather than her Charm Person ability.

Alignment and Temprament: Lawful Neutral. Curious, studious, and judgemental.
    Backstory:
Magician came to Town in search of the true names of the forces and elements of reality, to add to his collection. He is mostly an academic, though his
techniques are vastly powerful. He would be a force to be reckoned with, but the excessive "casting time" of his methods generally preculdes him from combat.

    Lirian
    Spoiler
    Show

    Name: Lirian
Race: Former God of the Dead
    Age: About 32,000
Class: Holder of the Fates of the Dead, seid/spellweaver 30
Alignment and Temperment: As yet, unknown.
    Backstory:
Killed by Myrkul, her right femur was taken by that dark god and made into an artifact to control the fates of the dead. She was placed into the catacombs, eventually
being affected by the wild energy after Myrkul was killed. The chaotic energies caused her to manifest as a clone of Aesa in order to duel her for the powers of fate,
but Aesa instead released Lirian from the artifact.

    Anar
    Name: Anarkazilingaludargar
    Race: Blue Dragon
    Age: About 32,000
    Class: Dracolich
    Alignment and Temperment: Lawful Evil
    Backstory:

    Age: about 5500 years
    Class: Ranger 3/Evil Paladin 15/Librarian 5
Alignment and Temprament: Lawful Evil, grouchy and intolerant
    Backstory:
This light elf ranger turned to evil when werefoxes destroyed his village. He teamed up with another survivor who had secretly been a cleric of Myrkul.
Ivellios was not interested in being a priest, so instead he joined the military orders: eventually becoming one of the feared Hands of Death.
After the death of Myrkul, he became disheartened and travelled many realms. Eventually he settled in town and became the town librarian.

    Zakziril Enraldi NorZilliar
    Race: Shadow Werefox
    Age: 620
Class: Wizard 10/Shadowcaster 10/Shadow-weaver 10, demigod of winter storms
Alignment and temprement: Lawful Evil. Extremely formal, polite, and ruthless
    Backstory:
Zakziril is one of Fenric's two younger full brothers, and the second oldest of that generation. He has followed most closely in the family tradition.

    Ran NorZilliar
    Race: Shadow Werefox
    Age: 608
    Class: Force weaver 5/Fighter 25
Alignment and temprement: Chaotic Good. Boisterous, friendly, and fearless
    Backstory:

    Yectas NorZilliar
    Race: Shadow Werefox
    Age: 602
    Class: Balance weaver 30
Alignment and temprement: Chaotic Neutral. Capricious, driven, and fiercely independent.
    Backstory:
Yectas is the youngest of Fenric's full siblings. She went insane when their mother was murdered by agents of the lich Kalzarath. She isolated herself from the family, pursuing her strange magics. Eventually her spirit was summoned to the town by Krystal, and she spent a time as the Wraith of Balance. Her body was destroyed in the fall of Balnaroth, and she was forced to actually be the Wraith for a short while. Most recently, an experiment by the mad Malleo and Aesa seems to have healed her mind.

    Fendran NorZilliar
    Race: Shadow Werefox
    Age: 580
    Class: Wizard 10/Shadowcaster 8/Shadow Weaver 5
Alignment and temprement: Chaotic Evil. Ambitious, Mediocre at everything, and a coward.
    Backstory:
The older of Fenric's two half-brothers. Fendran's mother was a human and this caused a rift among the siblings. He was tormented and teased mercilessly by the older children and eventually ran off to join the lich, Kalzarath. This earned him the hatred of the family and caused Fenric endless trouble. Most of the tragedies in Fenric's later life were directly caused by Fendran's vendetta. He finally came to redemption through the Church of the Seed, and was turned into a tree in an act of self-sacrifice that saved the Temple of Inari and perhaps even the entire town. The tree remains in the temple to this day.

The younger of Fenric's two half-brothers. He was also tormented and teased mercilessly by the older children, but turned to nature rather than evil. He also ended up leaving the family, and the entire realm, to pursue his calling. Little is known of him.

    [Stats]
    Gloomcurse Voidscour
    Medium Undead (Augmented Humanoid)
    Male Human Spirit-Bound Lich Caster (High)/Fighter 1+
    Lawful Evil

Precise class and level unknown, but demonstrated to a be high-level caster (probably Epic), given his ability to repeatedly throw out high-level spells.
Gloomcurse also has some fair skill with weapons, and indeed carries a varity of sharp object about his person, suggesting he has at least one level of fighter or other martial class.

    Capabilities of Spirit-Bound Liches:
SA Aura of Cold, Energy Drain, Fear Aura, Drain Life
SQ Absorbs elemental Shadow energy*, Damage Reduction 1/2 HD/Bludgeoning and Magic, Immune to Cold and Polymorph, Lifevision, Rejuvenation 2, Spell Resistance 10+HD, Spirit Bound, Undead Traits, Unnatural Aura

*Not to be confused with energy emenating from the Plane of Shadow or illusion, but darkness equivilent of light energy (i.e. shadow-like laser energy).

    Spoiler
    Show

Aura of Cold (Su): Gloomcurse generates an intense aura of cold about himself. The aura is 10’R. All creatures within the area must make Fort save or take D6 cold damage every round. Gloomcurse may suppress or resume this ability as a Free Action. He typically leaves it off outside of combat.

Fear Aura (Su): Gloomsurse radiates fear in a 10’ radius. All living creatures within this area must make a Will save verses Fear. Those who fail are Shaken for some rounds. Creatures 4 or less HD are Panicked if they fail the save and Shaken for 1 round if they pass their save (as the Fear spell). Gloomcurse can suppress or resume this ability as a Free Action (he typcially leaves it off outside of combat). Characters who make the save cannot be affected by that Skeleton Warrior’s Fear Aura for the next 24 hours. Total concealment does not prevent the effect of this power.

Drain Life (Su): All living beings touching or being touched by Gloomcurse for at least a full round (grappling does count, but a blow struck in combat is not long enough) must make a Fort save or take D4 points of Con Drain. Gloomcurse may suppress or resume this ability as a Free Action. He leaves it on all the time, because he finds draining the life out of people stupid enough to touch him to be funny.

Lifevision (Ex): Gloomcurse can see the emanations of living creatures (or other Positive Energy effects) as a glow. They can see such a creature or effect, even in total darkness as if it were brightly illuminated, out to the limit of Gloomcurse’s normal vision. The effect is only blocked by solid objects of non-living matter (though hiding behind a larger life-form like a tree is effective); anything that does not actually block line-of-sight (like invisibility, which merely refracts light around the target) has no effect on Lifevision. Gloomcurse cannot see non-living, non-Positive energy creatures, objects or effects with Lifevision (though he can with normal vision).

Rejuvenation (Su): Gloomcurse heals 2 hits every round. If reduced to below 0 hits, Gloomcurse is not destroyed, but it will continue to heal until either destroyed (by a coup de grace from lethal damage and so on) or it raises above 0 hit points. Severed portions of Gloomcurse slide or bounce back towards it at a rate of 10’ per round as if drawn by a magnetic force. These parts automatically reattached when the reach Gloomcurse’s space. Gloomcursedoes not heal from Heat, Fire, Magma, Light, Holy/Sacred or Positive Energy damage.

Spirit Bound (Ex): Because Gloomcurse’s spirit is bound to it’s body, it is has a stronger tie to it than most undead. As a result, Gloomcurse adds his Charisma modifier to his hit points every level, just like a living creature’s Constitution bonus.

Unnatural Aura (Su): Animals within 30’ sense its presence and will not approach, becoming panicked if forced as long as they are in range, unless specially training otherwise.

    [Desciption]

Gloomcurse appears as human skeleton, approximately 6' in height, perhaps slightly less. He typically wears the standard medium armour of the Army Of The Red Spear (synthetic plasteel plates, consisting of a breastplate and backplate with fully-enclosed arm and leg greaves, helmet, gauntlets and boots. Gloomcurse frequently leaves the helmet off, however.

When his skull is visible, it can be noted that his blood-red eyeglows contract, expand and change in intensity in an anologue of what a living human's eyes and eyebrows express (contracted is like narrowed eyes, expanded eyes widened or raised eyebrows (especially with a single one), intense anger or determination is a stronger glow, passive is paler).

The armour is rust-brown, with golden highlights and blood-red blade-like shoulder pads which project outwards over the shoulders. The symbol of the Aotrs (see under my Avatar skull) is visible on the left of breastplate. On both shoulders beneath the pad is are a pair of red slashes designating his rank. The armour has mag-clamps to allow equipment to be locked on to the belt or shoulder slung, though Gloomcurse has holsters and scabbards for added reliability. Like all Aotrs armour, it does not block the flow of magic as does normal armour, allowing the wearer to continue to cast spells.

Gloomcurse carries a standard issue flaming shortsword, his Coldbeam Pistol (which he very infreqently uses anyway) and a variety of other daggers and sharp objects sequestered about his person.

Voice: For the Army Of The Red Spear! (English/Derbyshire accent, malevolent undertones with a slight ominous echo.)

    [Background]
Gloomcurse is a Vice-Admiral in the Army Of the Red Spear, a paramilitary group consisting mostly of Liches, lead by the extremely powerful Lichemaster Death Despoil. The Aotrs combines high levels of magic with high-levels of technology, and despite being a relatively numerically small power in the galaxy, is a major presence. The Aotrs follows many goals often on worlds that are otherwise ignored.

Precisely what Gloomcurse is doing in Town is a mystery. It may be there is some deeper, darker purpose to his trip, or it could be mere idle boredom.

Gloomcurse's Lawfulness manifests as in his strict adherance to Aotrs regulations and in his calculating mind, but little else. At times he seems almost arbitrary, but such incidents are carefully evaluated in his head before he acts on them. Admittedly, the differences between a chaotic psychotic manic and Gloomcurse's planned psychotic mania are often minimal; the net results are often the same!

He has a twisted sense of humour, sardonic and caustic, but equally often dead pan.

However, anyone who engages him in conversation for more than five minutes at a time would rapidly learn of his undying and quite inexplicable hatred of Vampires. (Which he explains at length at steadily increasing volume if anyone is actually daft enough to ask him; basically in boils down to Lich/Vampire animosity.)

    [Notes]
Gloomcurse demonstrates a casting capability that does not follow the usual 'Vancian' standard, and sometimes seem closer in utility to psionics. Despite the superficial similarily and functionality of his spells (like his personal preference for Maximised Disintegrate) to 'regular' spells, he also demonstrates some spells that are unknown in composition (for example, his means of transportation, which he referred to as a 'Gate' is a completely different spell to the 9th level Wizard spell of the same name). Even those 'regular' spells he casts have something slightly different about them when examined theurmatergically, almost as if they were researched to acheive the same effect as typical spells, but from another totally divergent form of magic. Though most of his spells are analogous to arcane spells, some of his spell capability (primarily to do with negative energy) seems closer to divine types.

Gloomcurse's duties on Earth and Bleak Despair battlestation prevent him from spending as much time causing mayhem as he would like, frequently calling him to use his Gate teleport system to leave the area.

    Wardroids and Generic Minions

As a high-level evil entity, Gloomcurse is typically accompanied by his subordinates (usually in full Aotrs body armour as above) or Wardroids (which vaguely resemble a cross between a human skeleton and Trade Fedaration Battledroid, which a plasma pulse cannon on the rigt shoulder and another held in the right arm). The Wardroids have shields, and so are pretty tough nuts to crack, but are essentially cannon-fodder. With the exception of named minions, the Generic Minions and Wardroids are frequently destroyed by mid-high level characters ((knock yourselves out, folks)) in interesting ways - often by Gloomcurse himself irritable. Fortunately, Gloomcurse has a seemingly endless supply that seem to just wander up out of nowhere at odd moments.

Generic Minion: At your command, sir!

Wardroid: Online And Standing By To Fire.

    [Stats and Description]
    Bry Helgraz
Very very old half-elf - just over 1700 years.

An older-looking gentleman in simple black robes of a fashion similiar to those worn by a western monastic order comes through the door. A simple length of white wood held in his left hand aids the steps of his leather sandaled feet. A whipcord belt held the robes close on the line of his hip. His hood was down, revealing a slender face; short-cropped red hair swept back; precisely trimmed to the inner curve of the earlobe on each side; it hung down to the nape of the neck behind. Tiny silver lines followed the small muscles of his face, giving the faint suggestion of a silvery net in which his head was caught. On his chest a tiny brass star with seven points, and at its center overlaid, a small crescent moon of silver. The sign is the symbol of a master of the Sevenfold Path of Radiant Luna; a sort of combination magical school / life philosophy.

    Relevant abilities
Sympathetic Healer - He can transfer the wounds of others onto himself; certain poisons (necrotics in particular) may also be transferred in this manner; the injury (or toxin) is moved to his body, wherein his own enhanced healing processes attempt to reverse the damage incurred; the next effect is that the injury suffered is of similiar nature but lesser severity to that of the person being healed.

Craftsman - He is a master woodworker and carver, trained in a wide variety of techniques and specialties, including but not limited to the use of chemical baths, peels, stains, rasps, files, sanding techniques, proper mixing and application of oils, essentials, scents and essences. He is capable of laying into the wood a great many magical effects, and also of processes that can enhance the base nature of wooden objects; granting them incredible durability, or flexability, or other, more esoteric traits.

Sage (Planar knowledge, Planar metaphysics, extradimensionalism): The primary focus of his magical abilities and studies over the last seventeen hundred years has been the nature of the planes, what underlies them, the fundamentals of planar existance, the nature and mechanics of demiplanes and extradimensional pockets. This rather unusual branch of magical study relies primarily on a blend of conjuration and transmutation magics, with a solid dose of divination thrown in; and forms the basis for the vast majority of magical effects he creates - where another wizard evokes a fireball spell, he would create a tear between the current plane and elemental fire; the breach would have a similiarly explosive effect, but its underlying nature differs. Due to the particular nature of this school of magical effect, he is effectively immune to most effects that would restrict him from moving magically, (dimensional lock/anchor being the prime example,) and he effectively has the Native subtype on whichever plane he is on at the time.

Swordsmanship: Some basic training in a sabre fencing style; often uses a silver university fencing sabre of proverbial dullness.

((I really need to design a base class or prestige class to make this work mechanically in d20 terms. Essentially a class that's all about dimensional and planar manipulation.))

    Name: Faerrus Skullstaff
Race: An unknown sub-race of elves.
    Class: Necromancer 30
Alignment: Neutral. Doesn't care for others or their problems unless they have any sort of meaning to him.
    Age: Good luck finding out.
    Height: 5' 7"
    Weight: 102 lbs.
    Hair: Darkest black.
    Skin: Very pale.
    Eyes: Cyan.
Distinctive physical markings: A long thin scar running down his left cheek.

Faerrus grew up in a community of humans, as an orphan. He was adopted by a wizard who taught him the basic practices of wizardy. He eventually grew bored with his mundane existence, and decided to summon the spirits of his parent to find out why he was dumped in a backwater human village. His parents, were not forthcoming with that information, and he didn't learn anything. By this time, the villagers were suspecting that he was something more than a wizard's apprentice and tried him for witchcraft. He escaped, but only by using his magic to kill his captors. He eventually traveled to the homeland of his people, and claimed his family staff.

When Faerrus talks it is in gray colors.

    [Stats and Description]
Medium height, very thin build with high cheek bones. Suffers from severe Albinism (white hair, pale skin, red eyes, etc.) Has very poor eyesite and wears thick glasses. Keeps his hair in a tail in order to keep it out of his face. Loves to read, and always carries a book with him, currently reading "A Look at the Development of the Modern Magic-Missile and other Important Advancements in Magic". Wears a thin grey robe that hangs loosely around him, making him look even thinner than he is. Very nervous and unsure, often stuttering under scrutiny.
    [Backstory]
Born to a noble family and quickly apprenticed to a wizard, Deus showed considerable talent for magic, but was never able to focus on it, prefering instead to read the books in his teacher's library, to actually learning how to use magic. He left home at the age of twenty-one to travel the world, but was quickly robbed by a couple of toughs in the town, leaving him mostly penniless and more than a little paranoid.
    [Common Knowledge]
Appears nervous and frail, eyes flicker around and back is usually hunched.

    Age: 32

Appearance: Bald with Blue eyes, white and paleish. Strong but not stocky; large, prominent but vaguely handsome features.

Equipment: Robes, standard sword, mid-length chain (weapon), backpack with mostly books and food in.

Description: Married and with two chidren (young girl and boy), Iznoy was forced to abandon both family and most friends as he was sent on a mission far from home to hunt down one Pelgof, a member of a rival sorcery group. He must capture him, preferably alive (perhaps only a mild preference) if he is to see his homeland again. He is not sure where he is or how he got there, but his mission is clear and unswerveable. In his homeland he was a mage of enormous power, one of the highest ranking on the continent, but he does not know how this will measure up here. To offset this, he can barely swing a sword, relying therefore on a street-brawl approach using his chain or anything to hand.

    Class: Wizard, Low-mid level.
    Eyes: Green/Hazel
    Skin: Fair
    Hair: Brown
    Age: 20
    Hight: 6'
    Weight: 125 lbs
Equipment: Traveler's robes, a dagger, Magical Spell/note/theory/whatever book containing nigh-infinite pages.

Thorm has a kind, curious face and has a slightly intellectual look about him. He is skinny, and generally soft-spoken. His method of speech depends on his mood. When he feels calm, his speech is formal using long and complicated vocabulary. When he gets excited, his speech becomes more casual and colloquial, and he starts using a lot of analogies.

Background: Thorm was a kid with dreams. A very smart kid in an isolated thorp, Thorm grew up listening to the tales of hero's and adventurers at the local tavern. Dreams of magic and mystery (mostly magic) floated in his head every night. However, his family did not have the means to send him away to learn at a arcane university, and Thorm, while pretty tough, was neither strong nor nimble. Thus, it was thought that Thorm's youthful dreams would fade as he entered adulthood, and they probably would have if not for that fateful day. While traveling to the nearest big town for some hard-to-find tools, Thorm, now 14, and his father stumbled across a dead man on the road. Before burying the poor man, Thorm quickly searched him for signs of his identity and found a strange book. Opening it, Thorm found strange writing and mystic sigils. It was a spell book! Heart pumping, Thorm hid the book, as his father was quite contemptuous of all those lazy “wizard” types, and over the next few weeks, began deciphering it’s contents by night. As the year’s passed, Thorm continued to practice magic in secret, learning more about arcana and the supernatural. Finally, on his 18th birthday, Thorm announced he was going off to be an adventurer and wizard. His parents disagreed with him but respected his decision. Thus Thorm left home for the nearest city, where he joined a small adventuring group for a couple of missions. After the last mission, the group was disbanded, and Thorm began some arcane experimentation. Thorm got to the town when a teleportation experiment went very, very, badly and dumped him near the town.

    Name: Nethra
    Race: Azurin (Shadowforged)
    Class: Ninja/Shadowdancer/Incarnate/Umbral Disciple
    Alignment: Neutral Evil
    Age: 125
    Height: 5'10''
    Eyes: Gray
    Hair: Gray
    Skin: Gray
Clothing: Black and gray tattered robes of his death shroud worn on his death-bed, which are animated under their own power. These are worn in addition to his soulmelds: Displacer Mantle, Blink Dog Shirt, and other stealth-based melds. He has expanded his focus outside of just Incarnate soulmelds. Necrocarnum soulmelds are also among his favorites, as he gets a shred of entertainment from tormenting the souls of those who have lived lives wrought with destiny and purpose, things he is afraid he'll never find.
Weapons: Mauling Gauntlets and tendril-like attacks.
Appearance: Nethra resembles something like a dread wraith and a bane wraith.
Behavior: The shadow man is in constant reflection on what his destiny was supposed to be and why the baatezu who granted him his wish had taken it. He is almost always lost in thought, searching for a purpose to call his own and reforge a new destiny. Without great focus, his shape begins to unravel partially and his speak slowly becomes incomprehensible.
Backstory: Nethra was originally a ninja from a rather prestigious academy for the stealth arts. He was born as an Azurin among a largely human populace, and quickly took a liking to the shadows to evade the scornful eyes of the normal folk of the city. Nethra eventually met up with other Azurins, and learned of the nature of Incarnum and how he could wield it for power. Thus he began his training as an evil Incarnate, combining shadow soulmelds with his own talents; it was only natural that his skills took him to the nearest Umbral Disciple sept, where he joined their ranks. By this time, he was nearly his final days and was horrified at how short-lived his people were. Nethra sought to defy death so that he could become a king of shadows. At his death-bed, the assassin made a pact with a nameless baatezu and transcended his mortality, at least for a while, by achieving a state of unity with his dark melds to become Shadowforged. In exchange for this, Nethra lost his destiny, whatever it had been, and now roams existence in search of some cause.

    [Backstory]
Koga was the child selected to be the bearer of The Tarrasque. A monster of phenomonal proportions of destruction! His entire family was put into a turmoil over this, most in favor, some neutral, only his mother declining. Koga would find himself alone, though considerd a god amongst the cult as the chosen one, a force to be more feared then respected. And best left alone...

They would purposely raise him to be merciless and hateful, to better accomadate the atmosphere for The Tarrasque. It worked too well, and The Koga would come to slaughter most of his society, a few are alive to this day.

Koga now travels along, trying to find others to join his cult, to carryon the legacy of The Tarrasque. However, The Tarrasque bearer will be revered, not degraded to be an insturment of evil. People would come to fear The Tarrasque as a monster that could be avoided, as long as the people cooperate, submit, and remember who is slave and who is master...

    [Common Knowledge]
Koga has magic. Lots and lots of magic. His exact powers are unknown but it's safe to assume he's dangerous. (That is if you know who Koga is.. if you don't then you're none the wiser.)

Koga is the man with the Tarrasque, as if the blatant symbol on his head wasn't enough, the great war between them brought thier presence to light. However you have to be fairly intelligent or a spellcaster to probably understand the meaning of the scribe on his head.

Koga has a strong distaste for the sexual the promiscuess. Not stealthy at all, his lavish of murders against brothel houses and trafficking areas is notable. It's not exactly explained why, but some presume that because when the old bearer of the tarrasque dies a new bearer must be chosen, that thier complete mockery of intercourse laughs at The Tarrasque's face. Sex should be only done to conceive, conceive future puppets for The Tarrasque. If people don't know the stories of the society, then surely they'll hear tavern tales about a guy with a wierd tatoo going around killing harlots.

    [Notes]
Though The Tarrasque ussualy lays doormat in him, it is sentinent. And as such can effect Koga's mood, reactions, and character. It tends to be more active when Koga finds himself indanger, then The Tarrasque wants to takeover. Luckiely it can't, because as long as The Koga is fully conciouss, he's in control. However, if put under sleep or knocked unconciouss, the likelyhood of letting The Tarrasque comeout is eminent. He can subcioussly fightback, but it's still unlikely. The transformation takes only 1d3 rounds, and even within those rounds Koga is no longer his human-self but a medium to large size psedo-tarrasque that retains the awesome regenitative qualities. (So trying to kill Koga before the transformation can be complete is not an option. If you intend to kill him, do it before he can become The Tarrasque!)

    Unknown to most this suprisingly would not be difficult. Though his magic is awesome, Koga is terribly weak physichaly. Being so full of anger and focus, he finds little time to eat or work himself out. So his body is frail. If he had stats, they would look something like this;

    Strength: 8
    Dexterity: 10
    Constitution: 8
    Intelligence: 13
    Wisdom: 17
    Charisma: 13

Despite his general attitude, Koga is perhaps the weakest (wether mentaly or physichaly) ever to be chosen as the host of The Tarrasque. This attracts some worshippers of other religions to once and for all destroy The Tarrasque. Hense he wants to re-establish the church not as a secret organization, but as a powerful theocratic goverment!

Sh'ana is widely believed to be the last of her kind (a Neko), and even she is only a half-blood. She was born to Lucia, the daughter of the last High Priestess of the Siam, and D'they, a human monk. She was orphaned at 3 when thieves killed her parents: they were trying to take her away to sell her to a circus or freak-show. Instead, they sold her to a wizard named Kamn, who was a cruel master to the young catgirl. She tried to run away many times, but was always caught and punished with being the subject of one of Kamn's new spells. She hates the man with a passion, and does not speak of him willingly, if at all.
When she was 12, Kamn took on an apprentice named Goethe, who saw the potential for magical ability in Sh'ana, and began teaching her some spells when Kamn was asleep. After his five years with Kamn ended, Goethe purchased Sh'ana and made her his own apprentice. Sh'ana was thrilled, one to be free of Kamn, and two because she believed that she and Goethe were in love.
It was not to be, however, as Sh'ana began to slowly realize that Goethe had apprenticed her as a novelty act, to garner attention. The final and hardest blow came two years after they'd left Kamn's house together, when Sh'ana discovered Goethe in the process of bedding a woman. Furious, she left immediately, taking only the barest necessities with her. She has been on her own, then, for the last three years, and the experience has made her overly cautious around male casters.
    Notes
-Sh'ana has lived in a human city for the last two years, making fireworks and performing at parties. Her reasons for leaving are... complicated. *cough*set a lord's house on fire*cough*
    -She also ambushes slave-trading caravans.
    Ongoing Storyline
Sh'ana makes an effort to find other Siam, as her uncle should still be out there somewhere... she hopes.

Class. Rouge6/Outlaw of the crimson road 4.
    Age 120
    Height 5'6
    Weight-160
    Name-Uripton Shalan
Alignment and temperment- Uripton is neutral evil. He swears to protect drow unless they are drizz'it and his followers who are his greatest enemys. He prefers to stay out of combat until he is certain he can win or that it is in his favor to do so. His life in the underdark was not a good one mainly because only the later half of his life was spent there. The first sixty or so years were when his mother ran with him from the underdark because she feared for her life after his father had died by assasination, the other races were unkind to them greatly gaining him a hatered to most not all upper races, after he was 65 his mother was killed and he traveled back to the underdark were although not treated kindly he was accepted. After many hard years secret training he fled the underdark to protect drow above and attack drizz'it for siding with those who had killed his mother and treated him and other above drow so harshly.
    Notes and ongoing storyline
Uripton has been above ground for 5 years now and is currently known in a couple of city's to be a bandit recruiting drow for some unknown orgainization, which has meetings in an inn he has that is somewhere near the town but outside town bounderys.[If we can't have our own inn's I will delete that and the town thread I am about to start.]

    Swordmaster Jiro Matsudaira
"The true master... needs no sword."

    [Stats and Description]
    Race: Human
Class: Swordmaster 20/Master of Nine 5/Shadow Sun Ninja 10/Spymaster 1
Alignment and Temprament: Mutable, shows up differently at will.

Neutral Good, will act against injustice but has no qualms about infiltrating evil organisations.

    Age: 75
    Height: 5'9"
    Weight: 122 lbs
Hair colour and length: Silvery-White, long. Has long facial hair around his mouth and chin, and a long whispy goatee.
    Eye colour: Brown
Equipment: Amulet of Mind Blank, Green Robes.

Description: Before you is a wizened old man standing regally in nothing more than a simple set of green robes. His hair flows down to his shoulders, and he looks at you with kind, friendly eyes. To those who know of it, the fine embroidery on his green sash marks him as a master swordsman, but no discernible weapon is to be seen anywhere on his person.

    [Backstory]
Jiro is one of the elusive masters of nine, and was raised an apprentice of another master of the sublime way whose name is more-or-less unimportant. He has recently learned of the presences of KNAVES and AMEN in the Town and has journeyed here to learn more.

Comprehending fully the high powered magics prevalent in the town, he trained with an old friend of his in the arts of the Spymaster, in order to be able to investigate fully the occurrences of the town without the restraint caused by such far reaching alignment detection spells.

    [Common Knowledge]
Jiro is, to those in the know, a swordmaster, though he never discoses this fact explicitly.

    [Notes]
Has an inherently mutable alignment on detection - when scanned, shows up as alignment of Jiro's choice. This is an extraordinary ability, and methods which pierce such false 'tells' only reveal that his alignment is concealed. This occurs even when he allows his true alignment to be scanned.

    [Ongoing Storyline]
    None at the moment.

    Name- Brandmund Vahan
    Frequently Called- Vahan
    Race- Human
    Alignment- Lawful Neutralish
Temperament- Brandmund Vahan is a fairly kind man. He greets, talks, gossips, and does all everything else most people do. Yet it is his angered side one must fear. For his skills are quite advanced after being trained by his "Master". He is capable of doing quite quick body work, due to lack of armor, and is based on strength with a sword and shield, speed with the body.
    Age- 21
    Height- 6'2''
    Eyes- Green
    Hair- Brown
Clothing- Valen wears only cloth armor. He wears it in thick layers as to provide minimal protection, yet give him virtually no retrictions on movement. This insures gim that his actions can be performed quickally and be slightly protected. Though his armor may protect him from a slight cut, it could not stop a arrow or bolt.
Weapons- Brandmund carries 3 weapons with him at almost all times.
The first and most seen is his shield, ALWAYS worn on his left arm, even when traveling. It is extremly thich, about three inches of solid metal. It is capable of withstanding almost any extreme temperatures and virtually all attacks. It inhibits Valens left arm though, making him unable to use it as long as his shield is there. The straps are wound in such a way that they stay tight to his arm yet only require one buckle to be undone to remove it.

The second weapon is his wand. This is kept on his person at all times, inside his cloth armor, behind his shield only slightly higher. It is about 5 inches long and it only capable of casting one spell. It fires extremly powerful yet condensed blasts of air. They are extremly accurate and have incredible range. The impact that they have can be compared to that of a modern day bullet. It will cut flesh and dent metal.

The third weapon is a shortsword. Nothing special about it. It is kept attached to his hip on his left side.
Back Story- After being trained by The Master, he decided to venture out into the world. Eventually ending up in the town.

Alignment- Little Girl - Chaotic Good
Class- Psion - Psychokinetescist, Monk, Psionic Fist
    Age- 4
    Height- 2ft 6inches
    Weight- 30lbs
    Eye Color- Deep blue
    Hair Color- Blue

Possessions- Blue dress, small dagger that she doesn't know what to do with

Backstory - Dawnflame Alexander is Nightstar Alexander's daughter that she never knew she had. When he mother was given her enhanced body, a lot of genetic material was left behind. This was used, along with another sample from a different source to provide the other DNA needed, to create Dawnflame. Their mother's old friend Andrea Kabrinski came to find her to tell her of an evil clone of her that was wrecking havoc. Nightstar, her sister Snowraven and her fiance Leonel defeated the clone and destroyed the stolen samples used to create it. Andrea then presented Nightstar with a bundle, which contained Dawnflame, saying she had no talent or inclination to follow in her mother's footsteps (assassination - since retired). How wrong she was. Andrea's people had not been looking for Psionic talent which spontaneously manifested itself, much to everyone's surprise, especially when Nightstar got clonked on the head with a wrench. Now Dawnflame is trying to control her new powers and work out what the heck is going on.

(Her classes are a best fit for how I see her going. She's not going to be very powerful in them yet)

    Name- Reina
Race- Human/Cat, unknown which is dominant
Alignment- Ranges from Chaotic Neutral to Chaotic Good, sometimes just neutral and some lawful tendencies.. actually.. all over the place.
    Class- Sorcereress
    Age- Appears young, around 20
    Height- 5' 9"
    Weight- 131 lbs
Eyes- A shade of a green, will hide eyes if brought up.
    Hair Color- Blue
    Supernatural Abilities/Extroadinary Abilities/Etc.-
Can turn into a cat, then a human at will- and even mix the two however she wishes.
'Two minds'- Anything mental effecting has to deal with twice the effort to get it away. These minds almost always agree in a rather interesting affinity for each other.
Can spawn knives rapidly, even when magically suppressed. This is a very odd talent that even she doesn't know how it happened.

    Displayed description:

(pm if you are willing to assist me with something better, please ^^)

    Possessions:
    Knives, always.
Small random trinkets, all precious to her, and mostly blue.

    [Backstory]
    Varied into two:
    1)
Was just a cat, always was, but very interesting case indeed for self-conscious was always completely there, being the end of a wizard's experiments as she would later discover and is something along the lines of an "awakened cat". Of course, if there was a time before this awakening, she doesn't recall. This Wizard she never knew, she just remembers playing and prancing about with her mother and siblings, a very easy going history mostly. This all changed when curiosity got to her, and she just had to check upon a glowing object radiating from the nearby wizard's sanctum, the Wizard she discovered later to be the one who awakened her and her family.
Upon working herself into the room with the bright blue glowing gem...
    2)
A very solitary human girl with a very awkward affinity for cats. Raised as sort of the black sheep of her family. This eventually became even more apparent when she started developing magical tendencies, she was quickly thrown out in fear by her parents. She searched and traveled and lived somewhat loosely after this, searching for some way to be able to live a normal life where her magic could be embraced. Eventually, she was given a break, an offer into an organization of the magically inclined at the cost of a quick mission. If she managed to get back the sapphire that was stolen from the organization, she would be forever welcomed. They needed her due to her still developing talents, hoping 'she wouldn't be obvious' (this being a lie, of course, her being a thrown away at it). She managed to sneak into the wizard's area while he wasn't there, and find the sapphire, quickly she went to retrieve it from the pedestal it was on, however, upon touching it, it started to glow violently. The next things she remembers are in flashes, as everything hurried around her. For a brief moment, she recalled a cat entering into the room, the next, she was the cat.
    -
The sapphire, gone. This may relate to her sudden adoration of blue, everything that has come from this is now for the better after all.
together, the cat and the girl, both for some reason named Reina in the native tongues, have bonded quite well. They also provide different ways of looking at things to each other rapidly.

    [Common Knowledge]
    - She adores cats
    - She is easily fascinated by blue
    - She never seams to be without a knife of some sort

At the age of seven he was brought in by a band of Half-Elves who didn't want to raid villages or whatnot, but survive. Valestor learned magic, and how to fight at the age of ten, not only learning how to fight but to avoid fighting aswell. Revan Von' Hakoth Valestor's almost, step-father if you will, took care of Valestor and treated him as a step son, and thus is how Valestor recieved his last name , his last name by birth lays unknown. Name: Veren Eldale

    Stats
    Race: Elven
    Class: Wizard ~25
    Age: 170
    Height: 5’10”
    Weight:
Alignment and Temperment: Neutral. Veren is generally kind and welcoming. He is also curious and always excited to listen to and share stories.
    Hair Color: Grey
    Eye Color: Deep Blue
Equipment: Veren wears a simple red robe and he is never seen without his Belt of Many Pockets (Complete Arcane). He keeps his weapon Rend, a +5 Returning Spell Sotring Adamantine heavy mace, in one of the extra dimensional pockets on his belt.

    Description
Veren Eldale is quite tall, for an Elf, with tousled grey hair reaching just below his shoulders. Dressed in his favourite aging robe with its dull golden trims, he moves calmly without rush. He seems laidback. Around his waist lies a beaten brown belt ringed with compartments closed with bronze seals. He has a familiar named Dingus the Lizard AKA Lemmywinks. He is a small green lizard with a single small blue horn on the bridge of his nose. He usually resides in Veren's belt somewhere. ((See my avatar for an idea))

    Backstory
Veren Eldale has, unlike the majority of Elves, never lived in an Elven community. Since his birth he has been among humans. His mindset has adapted as such, straying away from the regular tendencies that rule the Elven mind. He became hugely inquisitive with a thirst for exploration and adventure. Soon after finishing his wizard training he started his long and wide-reaching career as an adventurer.
Exploring and adventuring for over one hundred and fifty years results in quite a long list of achievements and sights. From ten party goblins to mortal wounds from demons preying from upon high. Veren soon found his passion, however; the planes themselves. He became fascinated with the very nature of the cosmos and began exploring wherever he could across the multi verse.
As the years went by Veren became tired of adventuring and settled down on Ysgard to live peacefully and further his studies into cosmology.
One day while talking a walk through the forest Veren fell into a portal that suddenly opened in front of him, landing him in another forest in an unknown place. Luckily, Veren kept his amassed fortune from adventuring in his Belt of Many Pockets so he was not entirely without means of support.
Soon he found the Town and began to re-establish himself, one step at a time.

((sorry for how lacking this is, I’ll work on it when I have more time))

    Common Knowledge
    • Veren Eldale is a retired mage.
    • He has a strong interest and background in planar research and exploration.
    • He hopes one day to form the Guild of Planar Explorers to help further exploration and knowledge of the multi-verse.

Deepsear- Features? Look at the Avatar.
This talking sword has three abilities. Number one, he can levitate. Number two, he has blue FIRE coming out of his hilt. Number three, he has limited telekineses and can move object up to 100 pounds in any manner. He simply compresses the air around the desired thing, and moves it. This includes the blue-hot fire around his blade.

He has recently bought a suit of mind-controlled armor, so now he looks like a giant empty suit of armor, in a dark black cloak with red trim.

    [Backstory]
Once the property of a little-known adventurer, this hapless person found themself being asked a favor of, by... a witch. This witch asked that the adventurer return a trinket stolen from her by a sorcerer of evilnessicity. The adventurer obliged, and stole it with no small effort, including being seen by the sorcerer.

This sorcerer, who was very evil, tracked him down and cursed him into the very sword he carried, because he had killed his cat with it. He also wiped his memory. However, as things turned out, he cursed the sword into a super-powerful golden scimitar with FIRE coming out of the hilt, and a diamond in the pommel.

This sword, named Deepsear from the fact that the sorcerer looked evil to this newly created sword and rended his arm to the bone, but had sealed the wound with his blue-hot flames, then decided to do mercenary work. He got himself a small canvas bag, a few gold pieces, and a cute fuzzy tabby cat familiar named Levi, and went adventuring. Somehow, probably through that green portal in that faraway dungeon, he landed in the outskirts of the Town.

    Alignment- Neutral Good
He'll help anyone in need, but wouldn't mind breaking a rule or two as long as it doesn't mean someone nice will get hurt.

    [Common Knowledge]
He is quite polite, for a FLAMING SWORD, and is usually "warm" to anyone who speaks to him. He doesn't like introducing himself, but he loves to have a good talk with an acquaintance.
He is about 3 feet long, and can float, and is ON FIRE. He speaks in Dark red.
Oh, and it might be hard for someone to get close to him, physically. He maintains control over the flame so he doesn't burn everything in sight, but he cannot be touched on the blade, unless you have immunity to blue-hot fire.

    [Notes]
Levi is a smart little orange tabby, and can get things and see things that Deepsear can't. Also, he got a favor from a wizard and made this cat fire-proof up to white-hot. You will see him either on Deepsear's handguard, or in his canvas bag.

    [Ongoing Storyline]
Still trying to figure out who the heck he his. Preferably by finding that evil sorcerer and... "persuading" him.

Had I the cloths of heaven,
I would spread these at your feet.
But I am poor, and have only my dreams
and I spread these beneath your feet.
Tread softly, for you tread upon my dreams

Default Re: Characters of the Town (OOC)

    Name: Sir Eduardo Hernandez Salvador
    Title: Knight
    Class: Fighter
    Race: Human
    Height: 6'
    Weight: 183 lbs.
    Age: 18
Alignment/Personality: Neutral Good. Eduardo is a friendly young man who enjoys all the good things in life: ale, company and rousing song and story. He has a brash streak a mile wide and often rushes into things without considering all posssibilities. He is always happy to tell people about his exploits or listen to others tell of theirs.

    Hair: Black
    Eyes: Brown
Equipment: A warhorse and destrier, finely made, but well used plate armor, shield with his coat of arms (Blue Tower with Grey Dire Wolf rampant beneath it on a black field), a finely made +2 Bastard Sword. He usually wears his armor while travelling, but takes it off when he finds a place he wants to stay in for a while.

Description: Eduardo is a tall, fairly average looking young man. He is obviously quite strong. The black hair on his head is cut short to keep it out of his eyes and off his neck. He moves spryly, though in the early morning or when exceptionally gold, he seems to be stiff, perhaps from old battle wounds. He wears a finely made, simple looking bastard sword at his waist at all times.

Backstory: The youngest son of seven, Eduardo left his home with hsi only inheritance (the armor , sword, shield and horses) to seek his fortune as well as glory. He found some of both, travelling for a while with a Duke by the name of D'Lyon and a cleric named Jonas before he struck out on his own, now looking for a place to settle and call his own.

His sword is an interesting story. Killed by a giant, he found himself in an odd world of shifting grey mists, and met another man there. They talked, speaking of a faintly remembered life and of what they were. The sword was shaped out of these mists, and when Eduardo returned to life in a rather fascinating away (appearing on an altar inside a dragon's lair) the sword came with him.

    Common Knowledge:
-Eduardo is nobility, a knight to be specific
-Eduardo seems to harbor a dislike for Orcs, though he does not openly hate them.
-The sword he carries never leaves him. He does not allow others to handle it without his express permission.
