Hurray, Sunday's over (some four to five hours ago, actually... I blame RL).


Neorice passes with comics, (very good) props to comic background, an extensive hair tutorial and assorted banners and buttons (also for the comic). I hope I got that right.

IncoherentEssay passes with wingless dragons (what did that dragon ever do to those adventurers, anyway?) and assorted figurines (including a very cool... whatever that thing with the hands was).

KerfuffleMach didn't upload anything, but promises to be back next week.

ShadowySilence put up this CHALLENGE's first poem (which is awesome).

Glass Mouse passes with comics, a lindworm (a kind of dragon), a self-portrait and a manga-style drawing.

The theme is chosen by a participant (going by the opening post's list). It's annouced every week in the thread, usually some time during monday.
It's not mandatory to use it, though. Just squeeze as much inspiration out of the theme as you'd like.

Okay, I've gone as long as I can, but sunday is officially over everywhere!

IncoherentEssay passes with (you guessed it) figurines covering all three themes - including an actual cannon and a rather humourous incarnation of "The Thinker".

Glass Mouse passes with comics and assorted drawings covering two of the themes (pinned down and cannon style, respectively).

KerfuffleMach didn't post anything I could find.

ShadowySilence put up a poem and a shadow themed drawing.

Shades of Gray passes with OoTS style characters - four (five if the technoviking counts) punkers and a soldier, each with a different kind of cannon weapon.

Neoriceisgood surpasses the goal with comics, a background pic, a few character designs (including a Roy!) and a card thingie.


Thus, KerfuffleMach and ShadowySilence fail this round.

This isn´t my cup of tea becourse it is far more qantity than quallity. And i don´t like that. I don´t use all my time making avatars, and the ones i submitted was quite in a rush. I preffer IA where you got tons of time.

Ah, that makes sense. I'm afraid there isn't much we can do about it if we want to keep up a comparable standard, except directly quality-testing (which would be horribly complicated and demotivating)... but thanks a lot for elaborating. It's good to know what works and what don't

I thought it was quality-based to a certain level?

In the intro post it does state that you can't exactly just submit tiny sketches;

And I'd like to think that a huge ass piece of art that took several days would still count as a "pass" if it was completely obvious that at least enough time for 3-4 individual pieces went into that one thing.

Am I mistaken in thinking that?
