I like my low power characters thank you very much.

Course Kordson has only been in one fight at the Battle Royal, lost.
I suppose Zeno could be overpowered if I'm not careful or if I decide to play him stupid.
Trygaunt is my most "Powerful" character and has lost two PC fights now, and one was against a little cat, of course it has also kill numerous NPCs off screen.
I guess I don't really like the idea of my characters getting into too many fights, even if they would like to.

Though how useful an utter pacifist would be as a guard is debatable. I suppose he could try and tell the bandits the error of their ways and attempt to convert them to the path of righteousness and understanding.

I highly doubt the caravan master would hire him, unless he lied about being willing to fight. But here's another idea:

Charity and Phoenix! He's a complete pacifist! So is she! They fight look sternly at crime!

That and that the caravan leaving Inside be Crissellea's. I can help with the NPC's and such if you want me to.

Sounds good. We'll need to work out together what's in it, how many non-combatants are there, etc.

Actually, I have a charcter who'd be interested in being a guard. He's about a D-D+ character who's brand new to Nexus. He has competent sword skills and some minor telekinetic abilities. And this way he could meet a couple people as well!
