Yep, did so yesterday, it installed.

And then I couldn't find it anywhere on my game list.

Edit: Neeeevermind. I was expecting to see it under "Dawn of War", not "Warhammer". Yep. Been there all along.

Too bad I'll be out all day.

So while we're on the subject of awesome games, what do you guys think of Battlefield 3?
Seems pretty awesome to me, though I'm not sure if my computer will be able to run it very well at all.

    Well, that was disappointing.

Retribution is multi only. Should've guessed. And my computer isn't good enough to handle the strain of multiplayer and the game itself at the same time. It can just about handle low setting single player.

Then there's King Arthur. First, I have to set it to slightly lower than Very Low for it to work. I'm forced to assume that it's poorly optimized or something, because even when nothing is happening and the graphics look a good deal worse than most SNES games, the game is slowed to a crawl. As soon as something (like, say, the cutscene before the battle tutorial) does happen? Never mind lag, impossibly low settings and ridiculous loading times, no, it drops all the subtlety and outright crashes.

I know I'm using a laptop, but it's a really good laptop, and only from late 2009. 90% of games being unplayable is starting to get a little old.

Marines vs Imperial Guard seems to be a very unfair matchup.

Tactical marines, while it's true they cost as much as two guard squads, are BETTER than two guard squads.

Maybe unupgraded gaurd squads, but give your guardsmen a sergeant for a small fee and you get a free guardman every time you reinforce. Also, you can get 3 plasma guns.

Which one? Also, you probably ended up with some crappy integrated graphics (like I did when I got my Macbook). My next computer purchase will be much more... informed. In anycase, I feel your pain.

I checked the "my computer" bit. Win7 PC is literally what it says.

And yeah, I've got integrated graphics/a chipset. Not a terribly good one, at that. My wonder at "hey, this thing runs Bioshock just fine!" and similar things didn't last terribly long.
