Kid Kris' hierarchy of Hawtness! (Note, this is actually a hierarchy, arranged by CATEGORIES instead of CHARACTERS (well, except the first two). Decide for yourself where your characters lie. ((Applies to humanoid characters only))

1. Butler - Come on guys, this shouldn't even be up for DEBATE. Butler is the be-all and end-all.
2. Smoking Hawt Reinholdt (Shepherd/Kaela) - Said form was explicitly created to be the hawttest thing in EXISTENCE by a God-slaying, reality-warping doomsday engine. The only thing Kaela couldn't account for was Butler, hence why Reinholdt is only second instead of first.
3. (Demi-)Gods (of Beauty, Lust, Love, Fertility, and other such domains) - Angela, Anterion, Amour(?) and other such figures. They're the frickin' GODS, after all... and in the case of these individuals, being hawt is their BUSINESS.
4. Outsiders (Hawt) - Succubi, Cherubim, and all the rest. Usually the servants of the above, but not necessarily. ]
5. (Demi-)Gods (Other Domains) - The rest of the pantheon. They aren't quite as stunning as those above, but are generally a cut above anything mortals can hope to achieve, unless explicitly stated otherwise (eg Hephaestus).
6. Beautifying Magic (Epic) - Epic-level magic can produce hawtness of this standard.
7. Nymphs - The first of the non-divine, and pretty much self-explanatory. Nymphs are hawt.
8. Outsiders (Other) - Again, while being Hawt isn't their business, their divine heritage gives them the advantage over most other beings.
9. Beautifying Magic (high level, non-epic) - Powerful magic can produce hawtness of this standard.
10. Dragons - Zanny, Jazirian, Aurea etc. They're among the most ancient and powerful beings around, and shapeshifting allows them to take pretty much whatever form they want.
11. Other Fey - Generally hawt, typically more so than most mortals. Some may also be shapeshifters, capable of refining their form. Exceptions exist.
12. Beautifying Magic (mid level) - Mid-level magic can produce hawtness of this standard.
13. Vampires - One of the few undead renowned for their hawtness. And rightly so.
14. Beautifying Magic (low level) - Low-level magic can produce hawtness of this standard.
15. Shapeshifters - Shapeshifters can refine their physical forms to a standard not usually achieved by the processes of genetic inheritance, and unaffected by the whims of environmental factors, though not to the level of dragons or fey. And it's usually easier than applying a coat of makeup.
16. Mortals - Mortal humanoids fill this gap, from the hawttest of the hawt, to the plain, to the just plain ugly. Also includes other beings (eg. some undead) of hawtness equivalent to mortals.

    • 16B - Okay
    • 16C - Plain
    • 16D - Ugly
    • 16E - OMGUGLY!
17. Mutated Mortals - Mortals, if you ran them through a blender. Mutants, mortals with gruesome disfigurements and the like. Most unintelligent undead (eg zombies) also fall under this category.
18. Anya - And if you're even uglier than the above, take solace in the fact that no matter how ugly you are, you'll never be THIS ugly!

Have I missed anything? There should be more in between mid-level and low-level beautifying magic, and it's lacking overall at the lower end of the scale, methinks.
Also, beautifying magic assumes a mortal baseline. Obviously low-level beautifying magic on a dragon would create a higher result.

Elves are mortals, just like everyone else. As is Helen of Troy. They'd just be at the upper end of 16... Though some interpretations might have them at 14, if they're under a glamor of some sort.
Depends on what you'd call a 'hot' mutant. Krystal, for example, would be a 16. Though her mutation has a visible impact on appearance, it's not enough to destroy her hawtness. Mystique as a mutant is actually grade 15 hawtness, on account of being a shapeshifter. 17 is really reserved for things like this. While still recognizably humanoid, he is quite clearly misshapen, beyond your common, run-o-the-mill ugliness.
Also, the differences between numbers is not linear, for example, 15 is just beyond the scope of 16, and 14 is just beyond that. Meanwhile, the difference between 16 and 18 is huge... and 16 is practically a range within itself, at least as wide as the difference between 3 and 8, if not wider. Also there is a certain amount of overlapping and also exceptions to the rules - a certain vampire may be hotter than a certain dragon, f'rinstance.

And if all else fails, remember... it's just something I made up in 10 minutes for fun. No one's gonna enforce it.

Fun fact, Trix's sister is a twin sister, if you recall. She just wears her hair differently and wears less clothing. If Trix wore those clothes, she'd look almost the same apart from the hair and the fact that her ears are almost always downturned with worry.

Remember how sexy her twin sister is? Trix could look like that if she were in any way confident with herself.
