The Courier could teach the new PC valuable skills, like Package Delivery, Packageocramcy (a form of magic that has to do with Packages), and the best way to take down Giant Scorpions.

And that would be Day 1. The rest of the training would be a lot more action-packed

I'm not convinced HERO is going to work, Maxios. Like others said, it's redundant. We've got four existing organizations people who want to fight evil and villainy can join. I'm not telling you you shouldn't do it, but I doubt it'll work,

Of course you are going to want to interact with other people, but when you are first starting out having a friend to show you the ropes helps a lot.

EON would a group primairly made up of *duh* Ninjas and possibily Samurai. EON would be a neutral group, dedicated to the preservation of law and with it honor, at any cost. That's not to say they're a good group, they just strongly believe in Law.
EON would be led by a man only known by the name Steel. Steel would be dedicated to destroying all evils, to the point of planning out tactics to take down every EON member should they turn evil.
Steel would also be the team's trainer, teaching new and upcoming Ninjas the various martial arts...and Time-Fu.

Those two things don't really mesh well together. However, a group dedicated just to very Lawful or Honorable characters sounds like a good idea.
Not sure Ninjas are the most honorable though.

Anyway, I'd be going with the Ancient History style Ninjas, the ones who strongly believed in honor

Historical ninjas being honourful? You seem to have missed the ninja clans starting out on the philosophy of 'anything goes, as long as the family survives' and going downward from there. In the end they were only honourful enough to, you know, not backstab the guy who paid them to kill somebody. And sometimes doing it anyway if he was in their way.

Also, they were no where near ancient history IIRC.

If the ninja use ninja-to, then they don't exist. Ninja probably used broken swords scavenged from battlefields as opposed to using a distinct type of sword they invented. Because the swords were broken, the sheaths were too long, but that aided the ninja by making the swords easier to draw, plus having a nice space at the bottom for lockpicks/garrotes/usefulnesses.

I don't think we need more evil organizations. For one thing, they've failed in the past.

Though I'll freely admit that my main reason for not wanting more evil organizations is worrying about getting swarmed by all of them.

All the same, I kinda want to make a low powered knight with the expectation that he'll get killed hours after he's introduced. It could be fun. Of course, I have plots and other stuff I should do if I have the free time, instead of making a new character...
But, fortunately, I've finished the stuff I was working on, so I should be able to get back to the stuff I've been neglecting!
