Here's something cool I learnt: In inkscape, if you keep your finger on the ctrl key you can select and move and rotate bits that are in a group. So you can move shoes and rotate heads without ungrouping the character. So things stay nice and organised.

Another thing that you can do is double click a group to "go inside" the group, and be able to edit inside it, with anything added being automatically put in the group. Then you just double click in empty space and you're out of that group again.

I've just been doodling and playing around with Inkscape, but I've had Pink Floyd on the whole time, and one thing led to another...



I did this one really quick and copy-pasted the symmetry, but it was totally worth it!

Oh great Tiffanie Lirle, could you evil-fy my character? I would love to have Wolfgang (the avatar you drew for me) appear more wicked for both the purpose of making my player(s) shake in their boots as well as to fit in better with a Holloween/Samhain theme for the second half of this month. Honestly I'd probably use it for much longer than that, switching between normal and evil Wolfgang when the mood suits me. If you rather not, I understand. I'm not quite sure how he can be made more evil.

Making a character look evil is easy.

I could do a quick fix later on tonight. Changing his expression, eye color and perhaps changing his pose a little. Which would be a simple edit. Unless you want him in some kind of all out baby eating demon mode, in which case I'd have to make an entirely new avatar. Which would obviously take longer. So uh, I guess you'll need to give me some more specifics.

Tiffanie Lirle: I was just thinking of making him look a little different to fit in with a evil version sort of theme. Wolfgang is by no means a good person, but he doesn't go out of his way to make others suffer. I'd like him to look absolutely evil. So perhaps feral features? Glowing eyes? A demonic aura? Things like this could really sell the whole I'll-eat-your-baby-while-you-watch-cause-I'm-that-evil angle.

I very much approve! Thank you, and as always you have done some amazing work. I like the addition of the scared souls floating about as he prepares to eat them or whatnot. Do you think he'd look alright with red or crimson eyes in this one? Or is that just too much red for him?

So, I listened to too much music from the No More Heroes soundtrack while messing around on Inkscape and ended up making what I consider a pretty decent attempt at everyone's favorite (and quite probably only) murder-crazy alcoholic sweet lolita: Bad Girl.

The frame is a little cut off at the sides I noticed, but that doesn't bother me enough to warrant going back to fix it. [/lazy]

Anyways, the dirt road makes another reappearance here. I like having it around for some reason. The character is just some idea that spontaneously popped in my head. He's called William, the wisp watcher of Wallow-Wash woods.

And uh, those two things are wisps. I guess.
