If you did contact him, then you would have had him do the claiming. And he sure as hell wouldn't be pointing at you.

Furthermore, how would you even know that I'm the last Shapeshifter alive? There's only been ONE, I repeat ONE confirmed Shapeshifter death out of an unknown quantity. Unless you've scried every single one and had them all lynched by now, which we know isn't true cause day 2 and 3 were revealed to be not shapeshifters. Not that it matters as you still wouldn't know the number of shapeshifters in the game.

There are four shapeshifters; we knew that at the start. The Psion, the Harvester, the Reaper, and the Hypnotist. With the Psion dead, we're left with the other three. People have been pointing at Reinholdt and Murska all game.

We know there are three, and we know Murska may be the Researcher given the fact that Lord Loss was still asking to be contacted by them. I can't see myself lynching a possible Researcher without a better reason than Reinholdt's say-so.

Ok. So there is a way to know what roles were in the game.

However, we have three facts. Murska claims I'm the harvester.
Then claims I scry as a shapeshifter.
There are no disguisers in the game.

If what Murska says is true, then all shapeshifters must scry as shapeshifters. The only way he can be certain that the other shapeshifters have been caught is if he had scried them before they were lynched. However, if he had scried them, they would have showed up as shapeshifters and not their roles. Their roles have not yet been revealed. Therefore, he would only know that 2 shapeshifters have died and not what roles they had. He would have no feasible way of knowing I was the harvester. Henceforth, his initial claim makes no sense.

Therefore, Murska must be lying.

For clarity:

The Reaper, The Psion, The Hypnotist, and The Harvester were the four Shape-shifter roles assigned to players at the beginning of the game. The Interdictor and The Clairvoyant were removed from the game right before the start of Day 1.

Rival Researchers only receive alignment (Good or Shape-shifter) as a result of their ability unless they are scrying the other Researcher.

Untrue. If the hypnotist is pointed at by the person whom he or she hypnotized, then the hypnotist vote is negated and the person who is pointing at them counts for triple. He or she could easily die to lynch vote.

The Reaper story is just a lie.
But hey, you're welcome to have one of your shape-shifter buddies come out and pretend to be the villager that the Reaper supposedly sent a PM to by mistake. Since, I'm supposedly the last shapeshifter and it doesn't matter anyways... right?

Not that I believe any of this matters. If the three are still alive as this gambit indicates, then the hypnotist and the harvester can both easily control today's lynch provided the hypnotist isn't revealed. I can only presume you're either the harvester or the reaper then.

Um, the Hypnotist died two days ago, because his vote was negated and he was pointed at by a triplevote. Otherwise, he wouldn't have died that day. Therefore, I know he was the hypnotist.

There's nothing there to indicate the hypnotist was involved at all. Now if the vote had been 5 for me and 3 for Lex and Lex still died, there would at least be some basis for your claim.

Your circular logic of 'the hypnotist died cause his vote was voided, therefore he was the hypnotist' is weak, especially for you Murska.

I skimmed the thread. If I understand correctly and Murska claims scrier, I am aware of the identity of both scriers and he is lying (and therefore a shapeshifter). And I was contacted by both researchers and not Murska.

Well I'm not sure if Murska is drawing the right conclusions (and he could be the Fool for all I know) but I already had my reasons for believing Reinholdt was a shape-shifter.

Though it wasn't be much of a crowd, now. The bleeding man wondered when it happened; wondered when the community had grown so small and so weak. He recognized a few faces, but some suddenly seemed alien. There in front of him, eyes ablaze and foaming at the mouth, stood his accuser. Not a man of reason, but seemingly a vicious monster.
