Re: Breaking the 4th Wall: WW [Running]
I can get behind Tasroth. He's another quiet one who hasn't added much to town discussion.

That's true. However, all the old timers know that I have the list. Every person on this board knows I have the list. I'm silly but not suicidal. I'm guessing either his last few posts made him look like a Mason or at least as someone using logic. Heaven knows we can use more of it.
EDIT: on a related notebyersis acting weird

Re: Breaking the 4th Wall: WW [Running]
I like to call it being a gentleman, although I'm far from one in real life. I just like to talk. Heck, read my other games and you'll see. In Witchunt I never shut up, which is what got me lynched. In Phantom, I nearly talked myself into being lynched as the Seer. I just like to talk.
And lynching me would be an extremely bad idea.Werewolf Results

Re: Breaking the 4th Wall: WW [Running]
I'll say Saposhiente today. Much as I'd like to save myself, I don't think rakkoon is a wolf.
As for why I've been so quiet... I'm always quiet unless I've got a good bit of logic to contribute. Otherwise, I just go on random suspicions and what other people are saying. This would be one of those times. What do you mean "Dungeon Master" isn't a proper job?

Byers2142for talking about Witchhunt while the game is still going, you know you're not supposed to do that. (Note: that's not my real reasoning, he just seems a little suspicious.)Last edited by Ramsus; 2011-02-19 at 05:38 AM.

Re: Breaking the 4th Wall: WW [Running]
TD: That...That was aweful. Two powerful defenders of the forum gone at a stroke. Please tell me you rallied
Tasroth: No we did not.
MS: Tasroth here got jumped on for...wait here, let me see.
Tasroth: Let me help you out. Nothing. Or as Bill put it for "Not a lot".
Thufir: Ahhhhh. Doing anything can get you lynched.
Random_Person: ...Or nothing
Lex-kat: We tend to suspect people trying hard to stay quiet
BobTheFerret: And people being needlessly vocal
Tasroth: Yes yes. I know but come on guys. I think the Trolls have nearly got us. We've had a terrible run!
Kwarkpudding: We'll just have to trust in those we leave behind us.
Tasroth: You know what bites even more? I nearly found out who the traitor was
TD: Traitor?
MS: Er...aren't you talking about another game? We do sometimes suffer mixing our universes if we play more than one game at once, Tyler.
Tasroth: Huh? No. Definetly this game. The one who gave the forum to the trolls on a silver platter. Didn't you mention this to them Thufir?
Thufir: Yes and No.
TD: Well go on! What had happened?
Tasroth: Thufir had discovered that the vvirus letting the Trolls take over our accounts was spread from a single user already a member of the playground. After his ejection I started too run a programme that simulates the spread of diseases in reverse to try and locate patient 0 if you will.
Tydude: But before you could reach an answer...
Tasroth: You all got me!
TD: Well we can speed this up right now. Anyone here care to confess to starting this whole mess to begin with? To being Patient 0?
Internet Flea: BUGS IN THE SYSTEM SHALL NOT BE TOLORATED!
Thufir:
Internet Flea: Hey it was topicalSummary: Tasroth was ejected from the Playground. He was a Responsible User.

Re: Breaking the 4th Wall: WW [Running]
TD: I see a problem.
Internet Flea: What with exactly.
TD: The design of the 'game' I think. The Users rely on the vote to eject the trolls from the forum?
Tasroth: Yes.
TD: But the Trolls get to vote along with the Users. Surely as the trolls make up a greater percentage of the vote (or even a majority) the Users can no longer effectively eject them as they're able to effectively force the ejection of a User by their own numbers voting in unison.
Tydude: Yeah, that does happen. It's why the game's called when the Trolls reduce the number of villagers far enough so that they equal their number.
TD: But then...surely every villager down is another tick of the clock. How can you remain so calm?!
GrlumpTheElder: You called.
TD: Oh no! Do the trolls never sleep?
BobTheFerret: Chill. Panic helps nobody and remember - there's always the User network of Old Timers. They can be relied upon to fight right up until the last breath
Thufir: Or run about like headless chickens right up until the last breath
TD: What did they do to you Grlump?
GrlumpTheElder: Well. I'm almost embarassed to say. They kept making pictures of topless male models pop up and proceed to ask me wether I was Jelly (Jealous) or Mirin (Admiring)? If I chose A it was because I was ugly and if I chose B it was because I was homosexual.
Arden: How did you end ip dealing with it?
GrlumpTheElder:: Well I did try to explain that firstly I wasn't jealous because I am, myself, blessed with disproportionate good looks and that secondly I was quite capable of admiring the male physique without being gay. Also that even if I was admiring the models because I was gay...what's the problem there?
Lex-kat: Usually I'd tell you to take your ego out to cool down but you aren't wrong. How did they respond to your well thought out arguement.
GrlumpTheElder: They called me a jelly-gay Eventually I walked away from it all
TD: You're not the traitor are you?
GrlumpTheElder: I don't think so. I'd know if I was right?
Tasroth: If you didn't before you will once I describe it to you
MS: Hey Tyler. You remeber when I could get a word in edge-ways?Summary: GrlumpTheElder was trolled from the Playground. He was a Responsible User.
Day 7 begins now and ends in about 48 hours.

Murska. With the way this game has been going I would have expected him to have something to say in the thread, but not much has come from him.
