Well, in the Monster Manual, there are three separate castes.

Purebloods are humanoid, but with scaly skin. They are the most common.

Half-bloods are a combination of snake and human features that vary from individual to individual (some have snakes for arms, others have tails, some have freaky lizard jaws, etc.). Kin fits this description best.

Then, Abominations are mostly snake-like, with scaly humanoid arms and a head.

There are a bunch of other castes in different books, but those are the main three.

Thunt has used houserules before, so I was just curious if she was supposed to be a specific kind of Yuan-Ti, or if all Yuan-Ti appeared that way in the comic.

I've always assumed she's halfbkood, but we have no incomic info about his yuan-ti. Nor out-of-comic either, as far as I know.

The way past this trap is to push the hole wall into the other group, driving them onto the spikes. Someone has to come up with a "clever" trick to eliminate the strength balance between the two rooms. I'm thinking that Kin will somehow slash herself and force her blood into the other room, making the floor on the other side slippery.

IRCC, when that page went up, Thunt said something about that being how some actual snakes reproduce so... disturbing as it may be, its supposibly has basis in real life.

Although I'm unsure if it was a joke or not, someone else mentioned earlier how they should probably french kiss their clones; I've been wondering for the longest time how a certain thingg would "change" how they'd solve the dungeon, namely: Minmax kissing forgath.

It's such a random and weird event, that I really felt it should have some plot significance, I almost feel like them having to kiss eachother to open the gates actually seems logical based on the earlier completely random kiss being the one thing they probably did different from all other times.

Watch Minmax be the one to figure it out too.

It has to be their clones, not eachother;

Keep in mind, Psionmax killed him teammates and knows the dungeon through and through, so you should be able to get through by yourself.

-edit- @response at clonecest lol, I tend to solve dungeons with the evidence shown, not necessarily speculation about stuff we probably won't see, so I don't really feel any need to assume he can create clones;

The holes to the other party are clearly there for a reason, and the symbol above the door is two clone dragons kissing eachother, there fact that Barmax managed to stick his sword through is a clear indication that interaction of some sort is most likely required, otherwise what'd be the point?

I suspect that PsiMax is powerful and knowledgeable enough that he can take the "Gordian Knot" solution to the dungeon's puzzles and simply bulldoze his way through.

Also, outside of these two teams, there's no way to know if each group is facing the exact same obstacles.

Finally, I think the holes on the wall simply line up with the blades and are there to keep the blades from getting wrecked when the two walls smush together.

But the sword is just barely getting through the slit, and we don't know how think it is. Looking at gothMax's sword in the 10th panel, it might even more than half the length of that sword thick. Even if it is only a thin wall, there's not enough room to kiss through such a little hole.

Maybe, if the wall is thin, the perforation makes it not terribly hard to break down and the Minmaxes can sunder it with combined efforts, thus creating holes big enough to, ahem, interact through?

I still think they'll have to do it with their tongues, just like the dragon heads have their tongues connected, if that sword can be stuck through, I think two tongues might be able to as well.

And the thickness of the wall is really impossible to figure out at the moment, so I'll grant that it might be physically impossible to do so if it's too thick, but who knows, maybe there'll be magic to both sticking your tongue in ...hahahah.


... and yes, I actually feel that, if I am right about my prediction, Kin might be the hardest one to convince, more so than the jerk copycats.

So with both Forgaths going to the starting place both doors will open, and the kins and minmaxes will be able to enter the next room.

but when the Forgaths will try to join the gates will close again.

So maybe Our KinMax will kill the other KinMax, and then get other Forgath to agree to go back in the staring location so he'll get resetted and won't have to lose his friends.

That'd be my initial guess if it wasn't for the fact that those holes directly connect to the other group, the point I was asking about specifically is why the two groups are capable of interacting through the holes if interaction of some sort isn't a requirement for the task/dungeon.

Yeah, that was a LATCH. It didnt have the lizard man and the pale goblin frenching to move on. Also, isnt it generally unusual to have trap rooms like this without any clues?
