He takes the form, looking at Butler with a sort of happy confusion.

"That's alright sir. We're just glad to have you here sir."

Butler takes the form back.
"Would you like a quick tour sir?"

Oh yes, that sounds nice. He says. He looks at the box he was pulling. That will be alright there? He asks.

"Should be sir."

Butler will give the man the short tour and then deadtime.

The construct thanks Butler for his tour before returning to his box. He starts pulling out the large sheets of glass and piling them up outside of the box.

He starts patiently assembling a frame for the glass out of the metal struts that I certainly mentioned being in the box earlier. He's chosen a place out of the way, behind the infirmary and the main cabin.

Right now, Chris is doing some various excersises. Right now, he's working on push-ups in the middle of the field. He also decided to work on his magic at the same time, as apparently there are various small flames hovering in the air around him.

Quinn's here, checking on paitents, and generally doing doctor-y things.

Shrike, meanwhile, has finally stopped meditating. But is still stitting by the lake.

Butler heads off to go clean things and put that membership form in the fireplace pile as per usual.

Reinholdt was still watching Shrike but is now kinda talking to Zero except Zero's deadtimed. But is by the lake in general.

Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's...

Do people really point dramatically and announce that everyone around them should look up in the sky at a bird?

In this case, it's a winged shapeshifter who hasn't been seen around these parts in some time. Happy Amakirr lands, and reverts to a fully human shape, and then goes into the Infirmary to find Quinn.

"I believe I'm overdue for a brain scan," she says.

Quinn starts, and looks up in surprise.
Then smiles broadly as she spots Happy, hurrying over to embrace her friend.
"My goodness. It's great to see you again! And yeah, I think you are. Be grateful I've been busy or I would have been an endless nag to you about it."

Happy hugs her back. "I've been doing well on the island. How are things here?"

Chris rolls over onto his back in the grass, breathing in and out to relax. The flames suddenly snuff themselves out, as Chris finishes his practice for the day.

He manages to notice Happy flying in the air, and landing near the infirmary. He lifts his head up to watch as she walks in, confused at the fact that she just turned into a human from...whatever it was she was just now.

Meanwhile, Zamira heads out of the woods, and starts towards Shrike.

Quinn sighs, her face falling a bit as she starts preparing a medbed for the brain-scan.
"They've been better. I actually instituted a governing council and resigned as president. I...had to choose between redeeming somebody and losing a member that somebody had previously, ah, greviously injured."

Shrike shows no signs of having noticed Zamira, and stretches out in the sun.
Of course, Chris can probably see her too.

"So which did you choose?" Happy asks.

Quinn looks down, and sighs.
"I chose to accept the person who was seeking redemption as a member. And lost a friend in the process."

She motions to the medbed.

Shrike shows no signs of having noticed Zamira, and stretches out in the sun.
Of course, Chris can probably see her too.

Chris noticed Shrike, and decides to get up, stretching a bit. He then decides to walk over, probably in time for Zamira to talk to her and for Chris to akwardly walk away.

Happy lays down on the bed. "I'd say you made the right decision then. Forgiveness is a pretty important part of our mission. Who were the people involved? Anyone I know?"

Will Happy change her mind on hearing it's Reinholdt?

Zamira sits next to Shrike. "Hey."

"The person who left was Sunny Evans, the one who arrived was Reinholdt. Go ahead and yell at me, everybody else has this week."
And Quinn starts with a preliminary scan of the Happybrain.

Shrike grins at Zamira, not surprised in the least.
"Hey, you, foxy," she says, chuckling, then waving at Chris.

"Reinholdt joined?" Bad timing for the start of the brain scan, since mentioning Reinholdt makes that stupid psychic lust curse go into effect. Along with all the other complicated, but genuine, emotions that are associated with him in her mind. "Melody will be glad to hear it."

Shrike grins at Zamira, not surprised in the least.
"Hey, you, foxy," she says, chuckling, then waving at Chris.

Just when Chris was walking away akwardly.

Chris smiles and turns back around to face her, as he waves back at her. "Hi there...Shrike, was it?"

Or good timing, since it highlights the problem?
Quinn will zero in on the issue and see if she can discern in detail exactly what was done...
"I'm sure. But Sunny was...well, considering what he did, I can't blame her. Not at all. But it also seems most people would have rather I chucked him in the lake." She sighs. "How long has this been in place, again?"

"Yup. Chris, right? What brings you down to the lake?" Shrike asks, leaning back and stretching.

Zamira smiles back at her, then listens into the conversation!

"Months. Since Alek." And there will definitely be a massive surge of hate when she mentions his name. She hates Alek as much as Sunny hates Reinholdt. "I'm sorry for Sunny, but you made the right decision. Just... keep an eye on him. Psychically, I mean. I think carrying that cursed star artifact around with him as long as he did is the reason his sanity is so fragile."

"I will. And I think Toby's taken a bit of a shine to him."
Quinn chuckles softly, then takes on a look of concentration.
"If it's been in there that long, it'll be hard to get out. This will probably hurt," she warns.

"I can take it." Happy says, hoping it's true. Physical pain she's very good at ignoring. Mental pain? Not so much.

"Yup. Chris, right? What brings you down to the lake?" Shrike asks, leaning back and stretching.

Chris nods his head. "Well, right now I'm just sort of floating around, hanging out..."

...and getting himself involved in things Man was Not Meant to Know he probably would've been better off not getting involved in. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything."

Quinn nods. "Very well."
She'd offer sedation, but a quiet mind would be harder to work on, so...
She closes her eyes, sets a hand on Happy's forehead, and gets to work!


[Outside]

"Naaah. If we were doing something that shouldn't be interrupted, we'd be in our cabin." Shrike grins at Chris. "So, hanging out, eh? Not spending time with your lady?"
