Re: Total War: Future (IC)
To Lalande 21185 Explorers
Spoiler
Don't forget that refitting ships costs Economy and Exploration Vessels need to be repaired, when they suffer damage. Just put it into your EoTs.
Congratulations on your victory.
To Sumus
Spoiler
After your ambassador tastes the spice, the other Sumus in his vicinity begin to experience his emotions and unique state of mind, as if they've tasted spice themselves. It appears to be an effect of your species Telepathy.
Spice Party
Sayana Starblaze of the Star Gods tastes the spice sample. Strangely enough, she doesn't seem to be affected. Or at least her demeanor and speech don't change.
B-435-2,13 of Tian Technocracy deposits the sample in a small tube, that he places in a compartment of his droid body.
James Tanner of The Reach hesitantly tries some. He soon becomes the centre of the company, sharing his experiences and chatting amiably with Sayana Starblaze.
Procyon's ambassador Sir Henry Scott accepts the spice, but doesn't taste it. He gives a knowing wink to House Varulf, Light Shipyards and Ascension Coalition's ambassadors.Last edited by Thelonius; 2011-03-16 at 03:39 PM.

The Sumus
The Sumus will take some spice for a trial run. The Sumus ambassadorial party takes a few hours out and analyses the Spice.
Message to the HIVEMIND from the Sumus (Unenciphered)
Spoiler
'Greetings. This is the Sumus - we are a new species that is making it's debut on the international stage. From our understanding, you are a species that is somewhat similar to our species, in that we both possess a form of shared consciousness and do not possess the same strange obsession with it being acceptable to deliberately destroy the validity of other's world-image. We understand that with this, you are likely to be a kindred spirit to us. However, we have heard many things about you from the Human nations, and have heard you declared to be a primary cause of 'war'. Of course, many of the tales we have heard are completely implausible, not least the idea that members of your species have as their life goal the blatant murder of other creatures. We presume this is not true, of course, but why is it the Human Nations wish to pervert our world-image of you so much? In addition, we would like to offer a deal to exchange technology for mutual gain. Would you be willing to let us read through your species’ semantic memory to learn your place in the universe? Thank you in advance - our ambassador will be docking at a ship of your choosing shortly, if you have no objections.'

GDF to House Varulf and Light Shipyards (Esp: +)
Spoiler"Greetings. The Galactic Defence Force is looking to increase the size of it's fleet. It is well known that both of your factions have shipyards superior any other faction. You can offer us a deal no-one else can match.
We would like to place an order for [ + military], whichever one of you offers us the best deal will get the contract.
((OOC: None of us know how much it costs to produce + military, so you'll have to respond in words. 'Very good deal', 'reasonably good deal', that sort of thing. Thelonius can work out the numbers.))
Lewan Vidar (Arms Dealer) to Hive Mind and K'Krex (Esp: +++++)
Spoiler"Hello. Have you heard the news? After the conclusion of the battle at DX Cancri, several nations have formed a coalition, and are planning to attack you. Obviously they can't match your military strength, but they have far superior production capabilites. Eventually they will win by attrition.
I'd like to help you stop that from happening. I have friends in House Varulf who can get me top of the line ships for low prices. Cheaper than anything you can produce. I'm willing to sell these ships to you. Contact me when you've worked out how many you want."Last edited by razovor; 2011-03-17 at 12:00 PM.

Re: Total War: Future (IC)
Van Maanen's Star
Unlike many of the recent events the first ship through the Van Maanen gates are not aliens. Instead small couriers of obvious human origin warp into the Tau Ceti, YZ Ceti, and GJ 1245 systems. They broadcast this message.
"Greetings,
We are the Evraz Group. We are glad to be in contact with the rest of humanity once more. We offer this bargain. We have a surplus of minerals and other resources. We will sell them to anyone who is willing to buy."
To ISREC
SpoilerWolf 359
It takes some time and some backtracking, but the ISREC ship eventually manages to penetrate into the inner system. Surprisingly the gravitational anomalies appear to stop at about 8 Au's in. And there is a very clear delineation between the gravitational anomalies and the clear space.
Inside this clear space lie the two rocky planets of this system. Closer examination reveals that each is surrounded by a halo of orbital structures. However no signals are being emitted and no power sources have been detected. They appear to be dead worlds.
(You have + econ left, and remember the Russians helped you or it would have cost more.)
To Light Shipyards
SpoilerPut your armor research in your EoT.
The cyborgs check out mentally. They all appear to be fully in control of themselves, although a few are still in shock. They are extremely healthy in fact some of the devices appear to be actively repairing damage and any diseases they contract. There certainly are devices to let them convert others. However they are very obvious and under their conscious control They'd have to want to do it and it would involve some very invasive cutting up of the other person. No random seeding that just converts anyone in the area through nanobots.
About a quarter of them want their cybernetics removed. (Again put your research into this in your EoT). The rest either don't mind having them or simply don't want their bodies to be messed with anymore.
The Sumus
SpoilerDelta Pavonis
The ship itself does not respond however signals are sent from various points in the space around the ship. Refocusing the sensors on these points show various much smaller structures orbiting the large ship. The signals themselves are obviously artificial and by analysis probably some form of communication however there are no clues even to how the communications are formatted much less how to translate them.
To House Varulf
SpoilerJust put your ships refit and return into your EoT. And remember that once you take the salvage back to your home base any work on it goes into Thelonius's section of the EoT.
To Ascension Coalition
SpoilerYou successfully lay an observation satellite before you leave. Of course getting any information it records will require you to come back.

Re: Total War: Future (IC)
To the conference.
Greetings.
For too long I have watched so closely from so far away. I have seen every one of you grow from basic organisms to the mighty nations you have become, and I am pleased.
It is now that I have decided you can see the truth. It is now you are ready to see that the nature you have lived off is spoken for. I am The Earth Mother, Rhea, and I have been watching.
Throughout time I have watched you bring yourselves to the brink of destruction, simply by not respecting the land beneath you; by taking too much, and giving nothing back. I have seen creatures, mighty and strong destroy themselves by abusing the world they lived on. I have decided that none of you will make that mistake in the future.
I see those amongst you who will try to expand too greatly. I see a lack of respect for the nature from which you exist. Without Nature, none of you could survive. I call upon you now to agree to preserve the worlds you inhabit. Your wars ravage the surface, destroy the plant life and kill the land. Your mining and over-harvesting suck the worlds dry of the nature which cherished you to life.
Your crimes against the Nature are forgiven. I hope now that you will see the truth. I have explored the use of complex space travel and found it pleasing. You should try returning to nature, and you will find that pleasing too. I hope now, that you will look upon the plants, and the animals, with new eyes. I hope you will find in yourselves the nobility and respect to cherish that, without which, you would surely die.
Rhea will be watching. Always.

GDF to Rhea (Esp: +)
Spoiler"Thank you for gracing us with your words Rhea, your wisdom is greater than even the legends tell.
However, I am sorry, but I must say something that could be construed as insulting. I have spent much time trying to work this out, but it seems my inferior human brain is not up to the task. Perhaps you would grace me with assistance?
You said that 'Without nature, none of [us] could survive'. But what of the Hive Mind? Centuries ago, they abandoned your gifts. So long have they been distanced from you, they do not require you to survive.
Did you mean to include them in what you said?"Last edited by razovor; 2011-03-17 at 04:26 PM.

To GDF (esp +)
SpoilerIndeed, you are correct.
And indeed the Hive mind are a trouble to me. They have moved on from me, and at first I was glad of this development, glad they had taken out on their own.
But now...now their metal hearts are bent on nothing but evil. They are the worst culprits for ravaging nature's gifts. Can they be forgiven? That is the question. I have never felt the need to destroy life, but are these machines truly alive...?
I shall give this Hive mind a chance to change their ways before any other action can be considered.
You are right to query about the Hive mind. Thank you for raising the issue.

Re: Total War: Future (IC)
Suula En'Coi
Arcane
SpoilerI did some math. It takes my ships 14 hours to complete a circle of the orbit of Neptune. They don't move FTL in system, they just move at high fractions of c. I did the math, and at .5 c it still only takes about a day.
I have several ships. The reason they can move that fast is that they don't use reaction mass. Their telekinetics move them, which means they are more or less reactionless drives.
Additionally, I should know where everything the size of pluto or larger is, since such large masses affect the orbits of everything else.
Not complaining, just stating facts. How long is this going to take IC do you think?
Also, since my homeworld is apply its science to the problem (Because I have FTL communication) has any progress been made with the plants.

Re: Total War: Future (IC)
To ISREC
SpoilerWolf 359
The innermost world appears to be an industrial world it is covered in vast factories, mining complexes, and what appear to have been solar farms. The outer world appears to have been more pastoral. It is covered in what appear to be cities, and what appear to have been either parks or farms, it is impossible to make out which given the overgrowth. Both appear to have been long abandoned. No power signatures are detectable on either world or in the rings of orbital station surrounding each. However there is not much damage. It is as if the inhabitants simply picked up their things and left. And given the minimal deterioration perhaps not that long ago.
Suula En'Coi
SpoilerSure you know where everything is. That doesn't really help you know what you're going to get out of it though. You can start building bases as much as you like, but you don't what the whole system is going to get you until you've fully explored it, which is what you asked, the impact on your stats. You can guess that you'll get (++ econ from mining) but any other benefits would require actual interaction between the Suul En'Coi and the thing in question.
As for going at high fractions of c yes I calculated that in. However just because you use psionics doesn't mean that you can keep it up indefinitely. Your crew will get tired eventually. And yes I know that it's not necessary to keep accelerating, but you do need to turn. And mechanically this has to match up with the fuel capacities of everyone else's ships.
As for how long it will take that depends entirely on how much you want to explore. Thing is it still counts as exploration until you link it up with a warp gate. And since you don't even use warp gates that might be awhile.
As for the plants the only thing that you have come up with is that it's some kind of artificial signal processor. Possibly for use as a communications relay to enhance weak signals. If so however the fact that it is an entire planet means that the signals it was designed for were expected to be very weak and thus from very far away. The fact that it is beaming the signals back to you is likely because your ship does not know the proper signal headers to give a destination.

Arcane
SpoilerIn my EoT I am going to have a few major Suula's habitats made spaceworthy and build a lot of psionic amplifiers.
Then I am going to use a wormhole to transport them to 36 Oph. Once there, it will serve as a relay point for Wormholes so that I can open them more frequently and with less effort to this sytem.
Would that replicate a warpgate? Or do I need to do some research first?

To ArcaneStomper
SpoilerWe find the largest city on the second world, and go in close for a through scan.
1) I'd like to work out their technology level.
2) I'd like to check for details about their species. Height and width should be obvious for the size of doors. If their houses have windows they had eyes. That sort of thing.
3) Look for reading material. If their technology is old or modern they should have books. If their technology is newer we may need to power up some of their computers. With enough material we should be able to decipher the language.

Re: Total War: Future (IC)
To Suula En'Coi
Spoiler
You'll need to move + permanent economy to 36 Oph to establish relay point for Wormholes. It will be a functioning colony. Be wary, that until you've fully explored Oph 36, ArcaneStomper is free to spring unexpected events on your new colony. I will take into acount your reseach project regarding the matter.
Warp Gate and Wormhole technologies are comparable in power, but they provide different benefits and drawbacks:
Warp Gates need to be constructed and they are very expensive. But once they are in place, the Warp Lanes will stay there and the cost of interstellar travel is very cheap.
Wormholes can be used to travel to all nearby systems and they allow for rapid colonization. Their drawback is high cost of interstellar travel and greater vulnerability. Suula En'Coi's colonies will be more costly to maintain, then colonies of the species using Warp Gate technology and it will be more expensive to shift military forces between them.
Both Warp Gate and Wormhole technology can be improved. Their technology rating is ++++++.

To the Sumus
SpoilerGreetings Sumus, I am glad to hear from you.
Death and suffering are always regretable, and indeed I have always done what I can to ensure life has the opportunity to thrive, but there is only so much I can do without direct interference. I have no control over poverty, or war, these are for the civilisations concerned to solve.
But now I have decided that I should interfere, now I shall step in, to stop the horrible afflictions on life that have plagued all of history.
My thanks and good wishes to you, Sumus.

SpoilerMany of our most prominent philosophers would like to hear a more detailed account of your views. What separates man from nature? Is not death and struggle a part of life, something necessary for lifeforms to adapt and evolve? Why would structures created from metal and plastic be different from nests created by ants, other than in sheer scale? And is it not in the nature of all species to look to their own well-being first, over the survival of others?

Re: Total War: Future (IC)
Turn 4 Begins.
===News===
Victorious Vessels Welcome
The WNNC covers celebrations surrounding the return of House Varulf, Light Shipyards and Ascension Coalition Exploration Vessels. There is confirmation of a massive battle against an alien force in Lalande 21185 Star System. The combined forces of the three nations fought against, what according to WNNC sources, was a moon-sized warship. It is yet unknown, what the alien ship was guarding or the technological wonders, its study will bring to the galactic community.
Warpquake
A power fluctuation across the entire warp space was observed yesterday by the ships in transition. It's strength wasn't enough to endanger the Warp Lanes. The scientists attribute the phenomenon to the natural causes. ''We've been observing Warp for a mere century. This could be a part of some natural cycle'', commented leading Warp expert, Paul Reeler.
Focus: Kingdom of Procyon
Hijacking of the Century
An Exploration Vessel was hijacked by an unknown party from the Kingdom of Procyon. It has left the Procyon System and presumably left the known space for one of the unexplored stars.
Star Gods Visit
A large delegation of Star God's diplomats has arrived to the Kingdom of Procyon. The details of the negotiations are kept behind the closed doors, but they probably concern the K'Krex-Hive Mind alliance.
Galactic Labor Union Petitions King
In other news, the Galactic Labor Union, has appealed to King Albert II, asking that the monarch use his influence to force buisness employers to provide improved healthcare and wage increase to Procyon's and Solaris Inc. employees.
Galactic Labor Union
The Galactic Labor Union representatives have began talks with the Light Shipyards workers, on their working conditions. ''I trust that Light Shipyards will deliver everything they have promised to their workers. GLU wants to share our experience in such negotiations, so the relations between the employee and employer in Light Shipyards will be more productive.'' spokesman of GLU has told our journalists. Some expect GLU to raise the question of compensations and free medical care due to injury, caused by the potential K'Krex attack.
The workers employed by ISREC were also approached on the subject of their employee's wages and dangers of working in the 61 Cygni system.
Commonwealth defeats Piracy!
The Commonwealth has launched a massive operation to rid its space of the pirate menace. Under the leadership of Admiral Vernon Stross, the piracy was dealt a mortal blow.
''We haven't got them all. But we've shown what happens, when you try to mess with Commonwealth citizens.'' commented Admiral.
A number of other nations are preparing to launch similar operations. We at WNNC can hope, that space will be safe for travel and trade soon enough.
War on Spice
Terran Federation has spoken against the ''Spice'', a substance with addictive properties, introduced to the known space by Sthuthid Federation.
''We are not going to allow this alien smut to hit the streets of Earth. Constancy Party will protect our new generations from falling into the depravity of substance abuse. As Prime Minister of Earth Senate, I vow to protect health and mind of every citizen of Terran Federation.'', announced Prime Minister, Conrad Tomb, during his latest press confernce.
The new law is expected to pass with overwhelming majority in the senate and will forbid use of Spice, dangerous cyber-enhancements and outlaw religious organizations, designated as ''cults''.
The Light Shipyards have joined Terran Federation in prohibition of Spice, as highly addictive substance. There are rumors that CAP, Tian Technocracy and Trantis Coalition will soon follow similar policy.
Other Headlines:
Trantis Coalition Top Scientist dies under mysterious cricumstances.
Criminals flaunting their wealth. New face of a successful crook.
YZ Ceti Anarchists build a new fleet out of scrap.
DX Cancri's native civilization goes into space.
===Events===

The rumors spread, that Sumus are offering money and possibility of immortality, to be allowed to download memories of people. This has generated a great interest among people of various worlds.
The following nations refuse Sumus to perform their procedure on their citizens: Star Gods, Tian Technocracy.
The following nations place strong restriction: Terran Federation.

Spoiler
The motions to be debated:
1. Should The Reach be accepted into Commonwealth?
True Terran Fleet appears to be in favor, although they are cautious to say, just how much Commonwealth should spend on space exploration. Republic of Ross is leaning in favor. PDRR is cautiously opposed to immediate acceptance, suggesting that an evaluation period is required to weight on such important descision.
2. Should the Spice be declared illegal substance?
TTF and Republic of Ross appear to be in favor of outlawing it, but it is hard to tell how strongly they feel on the issue. The TTF is mostly arguing over the dangers of untested alien substances, while Republic of Ross take their cue from Terran Federation's war on drugs. The PDRR appears to be undecided.
3. Should restrictions be placed on allowing people to perform Sumus memory downloading procedure?
All members of the Commonwealth appear to agree, that people in possession of sensitive information shouldn't be allowed to give their memories to Sumus. What constitutes sensitive information is debated.

Re: Total War: Future (IC)
VirtuTech Advertisement
'The following scenes are made from actual footage from VirtuTech games.'
A tiled room. Two hands lift a helmet into view, slotting it onto the head of the viewer. Suddenly, the viewer is on a mountain top. The viewer flexes his gloved hands in front of his face. He looks down to his feet, now covered with snow.
"Have you ever wanted to climb the tallest mountain in the galaxy?"
The viewer turns, and looks around him. Before him, on all sides, is majestic scenery like no other. Brilliant white peaks glistening in the early morning sun. Plains of white and green stretching into the distant horizon.
"Now you can."
The viewer takes a few steps back, and runs towards the mountain edge. He leaps from the top, the wind whistling past his ears.
"Have you ever wanted to swim with dolphins?"
The viewer falls into a snow drift. He passes through the cold whiteness into clear water. Around him are hundreds of fish, swimming amongst a massive coral reef. The viewer hears a sound in the water. He turns to see a Whale. A great Sperm Whale, extinct for the past two centuries swim right past him. The mighty creature comes within five feet, it's tail almost brushing the viewer as it passes.
"Now you can."
A piece of rope falls into the water, the viewer grabs onto it with one hand. He is pulled upwards through the water.
"Have you ever wanted to go race motorbikes? Ski on Pluto? Or maybe you prefer water-skiing?
The viewer is pulled out of the water onto a pair of water-skis. The water skis are suspended by a field energy above a river of lava. The viewer turns behind him to see a volcano, spewing lava and ash. The viewer speeds away from it, pulled along by a motor boat. He races through canyons, over rocks, and around obstacles. The landscape is a rolling brown plain, great spires of obsidian jutting into the sky.
"Now you can.
Virtutech introduces the Virtual Entertainment system. Now you can do anything."

Virtutech to House Varulf, K'Krex, Solaris Incorporated, Republic of Ross, Ascension Coalition, Light Shipyards, and Glorious Kingdom of Procoyon
Spoiler"A recent poll puts the people of your nations as the least happy in the galaxy. As such, we would like to offer you a special deal.
For a reasonable price we can provide you with our Virtual Entertainment System. This system will be a major boost for your populace, enabling you to improve the lives of countless individuals.
Contact us if you're interested."
((OOC: If you want to buy enough to get a morale boost you will need to spend a lot. But if your already planning to improve your morale, I'm offering the system for slightly less than it would cost to do it alone. You lose nothing.))
GM
SpoilerAll the money I get from these sales will go into making the systems. I don't want to gain any economy from this. Just a little bit of culture. If I get enough sales.

Re: Total War: Future (IC)
To Reach:
SpoilerOf course. House Varulf will support your acceptance - you might be interested in the fact that we are already preparing to found a colony on Lalande 21185. Once the warpgate is built, the first bases will concentrate on studying the remains of the alien craft, but we intend to fully utilize the system.
We would be grateful for any economic support in the endeavour, as well. It is very costly, after all.
To Galactic Labour Union:
Spoiler
We're willing to support your demands if you feel you are not making enough progress. Us working together would mean formidable economic and political leverage.
Commonwealth Senate:
Spoiler
1: House Varulf is in favour, revealing their intention to colonize Lalande. We support our position with both colonization efforts propagating human influence to the stars, preparing us against possible alien threats which seem to be all too common, by economical long-term benefits since we're building the Commonwealth with our eyes in the future, hoping for a prosperous nation and by the fact that the more human factions we unite, the stronger our front will be.
2: House Varulf is for declaring Spice illegal, at the very least until the substance has been studied enough so we have any idea how it affects human beings.
3: Any government officials should need approval by the state to upload their memories. Other individuals would, at least for now, probably need some sort of a check and a permit. And we don't know much of what exactly the possible side-effects of the process are in the first place - we suggest limiting the memory-trade until such information is more available.
4: House Varulf suggests offering the services of the Commonwealth fleet against the piracy problem other (human) systems are having. After all, piracy in another system still hurts our profits, and our ships have experience of the job.
Of course, we'll ask for compensation for damages we occur as well as the costs of the operation, but it's less than having to create your own fleet.
To Sun Channel:
SpoilerWe're willing to sell, if you're willing to negotiate the price.
To Star Gods:
SpoilerWe have gained an alien weapon as salvage from the giant ship in Lalande system. It is some sort of a plasma cannon, but we do not know of it's workings. Would you be willing to attempt to reverse-engineer it for us?
To VirtuaTech and GM:
SpoilerWe're interested.
(OOC-GM: How much of a boost is it? How much would we need to buy to support our drive for some additional morale? We already did stop piracy, do all these negotiations, the Galactic Labour Union's demands were conceded to and such.)
To Terran Federation:
SpoilerWe agree to your deal. We will help build up your fleet for you for the agreed-upon price.
However, we would hope for some slight easing of the restrictions of our trade in exchange. House Varulf is a reputable entity, our goods are produced with quality in mind and according to Galactic Labour Union policies and an increase in trade would benefit us both.

To Sun Channel
SpoilerWe are willing to sign off on this, as long no names are changed, and a cut of the money made goes towards funding research into the technology salvaged in the battle.

Re: Total War: Future (IC)
To ISREC
SpoilerWolf 359
Whoever it was that built the city they were quite large. At least three meters tall given the size of the doors. There are several statues evident and they show a creature that is very robust to put it lightly four arms, two legs, and an expression that on a human would be called grim. Although of course that could mean anything on the aliens. And all of it packed into a frame that would the bears of old earth to shame. Given the size of the statues and the size of the buildings it is likely that these were the primary inhabitants. Although since there is no way of knowing the scale of the statues this can't be verified.
Other important pieces of information picked up by the scans are that whoever they were the inhabitants did not leave in a hurry. Everything movable has been stripped away, everything not movable has been carefully sealed with some kind of unknown preservative. Sensors detect the presence of a great many machines buried under the surface, but they all seem to be dormant. Several large monuments dot the city as well, but whether the symbols they are covered with is writing or just artwork is a question that can't be answered without further study.
There is however one building that appears to be active. Near the edge of the city is a large bunker like structure. From inside it is coming a fairly large power signature, however there is now visible means of entrance.
To the Sumus
SpoilerThe signals reaching the main ship are unchanged. Simply a short loop repeating over and over which unfortunately doesn't contain enough material to translate. The signal reaching the sub ship however is different. It is a simple modulated pulse most likely tuned for efficiency and range rather than information transfer. Especially as it appears to contain nowhere near enough differentiation to actually carry information.
Shortly after this signal starts multiple very small objects are detected launching from the orbiting structures and heading towards the sub ship at high speed.

SpoilerThelonius has informed me my exploration ship has run out of supplies. So it's time to go home* and resupply. I may return immediately, but if someone announces plans to explore a new system that will change.

Re: Total War: Future (IC)
The Glorious Kingdom of Procyon
to Star Gods (privat meeting between His Holiness Samuel I. and the Star God representative)
SpoilerBoth of our people founded their religious believes around the idea that scientific knowledge is fundamental to understand the will of god and to act upon this very will. The current age with it reopening of the warp lanes sand the emergence of several new and enigmatic alien species shows us that we must increase our efforts to understand this univers and the divine will guiding it. To this end we would like to discuss the possibility of cooperation between The Curch of Procyon and The Star Gods to unravel the secrets of space and time and how to protect our people from the new and old threats.
to Solaris Inc. (private meeting between King Albert II and Julia Harken)
SpoilerAlbert:Julia, we have a problem. When we agreed to the terms under wich we could purchase your exploration vessel, part of the deal was, that the scientist of Solaris Inc. would cooperate with The Holy Church of Procyon. But until Today, the solaris scientists have refused to work with members of the church.
Julia: I know, but your church is not interestet in cooperation, they want our scientist to do their bidding and when they had difficulties to reach your facilities because of the war with the K'Krex, the church threatenend them with heavy penance. After this every scientist suddenly got ill as soon as he or she learned of a new assingnenment to one of your facilitys.
I'm going to talk with Samuel about this later. What do you think, would the scientist get better is he withdrew the penance and made it clear to his priests that he expects cooperation with and respect towards them?
I think that would help. Now we should talk about the progress we have made in developing the dayside.....
to Galactic Labour Union:
SpoilerThe High Seat is willing to support your demands. The wellfare and happyness of our people and emploees is one of our greatest concerns.
to all human factions, the Tian Technocracy, Sumus, Sthuthid Federation
and to the poeple of DX Cancri [Esp. ++++]
SpoilerThe Glorious Kingdom of Procyon wishes to discuss the possibility of mutual beneficient trade agreements, especially lowered taxes and tolls.
to Ascension Coalition [Esp. ++++]
SpoilerThe Glorious Kingdom of Procyon wishes to discuss a mutual protection treaty
to Tian Technocracy [Esp. ++++]
SpoilerThe Glorious Kingdom of Procyon wishes to discuss a mutual protection treaty
to the Commonwealth [Esp. ++++]
SpoilerThe Glorious Kingdom of Procyon wishes to discuss a mutual protection treaty
to Sumus [Esp. ++++]
SpoilerYour peoples dedication towards the betterment of all live is admirable. But as the People of the Kingdom of Procyon are well aware, there are some limitations as to how far you can extend this. One of these limits is the life expectancy and nature of the stars themself. In the light of these knowledge we offer you the possibility to study a star that will go nova within the next 10-100 million years (Procyon A) and a white dwarf (Procyon B) within the same solar system. If we could learn how to extend the live of the stars themselve, all life could thrive in their light for a far longer time.
to Mother Rea: [Esp. ++++]
SpoilerThe Holy Church of Procyon is very interested to discuss and compare our veiws and philisophies regarding live, the universe and everything.
to Virtutech and GM [Esp. ++++]
SpoilerWe would like to request an offer and if possible some samples of your VR.-Kits. (GM/ OOC.: how much would have to spend to get a moral boost?)
to GM [Esp. ++++]SpoilerI am going to send some small Vessels to DX Cancry, to check if anything salvageable remains after the Battle (weapons, armor, engines etc.). The Ships have strict order to avoid combat, just scan, grab and dash.
The Exploration Vessel at GJ 1061 (Mil. + Tech. ++++ Econ. +)launches some sensor drones, to support onboard sensor in scanning the Trade Fleet and keeps a save distance towards the Trade Fleet while hailing them and signalling our interest in trade and cultural exchange. To avoid misunderstandings, we suggest to exchange some cultural and biological data regarding our societies/ species. (if they accept, we remove humanities greatest atrocities while focussing on how dangerous the K'Krex and Hive Mind are. Informations which could be used to create biological weapons are also removed or at least distorted)Last edited by KalShurak; 2011-03-23 at 06:44 PM.

SpoilerWe would be willing to sign such a treaty.
