You see a huge monstrous spider. From Australia.
Monstrous Australian spiders have Web as an (Ex) ability at will, and poison that does 2d6 Con, and another 2d6 a minute later, with a DC 20 Fortitude save to negate. The also have a demoralizing aura as the spell Crushing Despair, with a DC 22 Will save to negate. All other spiders withing 60ft of the Australian Monstrous Spider receive a +2 competency bonus on skills, attacks, AC, and initiative.
This specific spider has a summon vermin spell (spider only), which summons no fewer than 3d6 Large Monstrous spiders, 3d8 Medium Monstrous spiders, and 2d10 Small monstrous spiders.

I can't recall the exact system, but there is/was one where the penalties for being on fire were less than the penalties from darkness.

D&D is like that, actually- penalty for being in darkness: Reduced movement, have to try using sound/scent/random guessing to find things, opponents strike you as if invisible. Penalty for being on fire: 1d6 damage a round, which means most lower-mid level characters can pretty comfortably survive being on fire for as much as a minute.
