With nothing exciting going on in the infirmary and the great outdoors calling her. She looks around once and then 'ports out to the lake front. And shakes once more, from the tip of her tail to the tip of her nose. Ah, that feels better, the wind in her fur and fresh scents waiting to be found.

Reinholdt doesn't mind meeting up with Chris.

He does eep at the suddenly appearing wolf though. He usually sits on a rock by the lakeside that gets a bunch of sun and today's no different.
"Gah!"

Thecla turns at the sound of the Gah and wags her tail. She gives Reinholdt a wolfy grin, complete with her tongue hanging out to one side. She's so pleased to be outside!

Chris walks up to Reinholdt, giving a good enough warning that he's going to appear beforehand. He grins a little at the wolf. "He seems friendly enough, don't you think?"

"I... guess so." Reinholdt stares at the wolf suspiciously. Dog like creatures frequently couldn't be trusted.

He is a she and her sides heave with laughter at their comments. She takes a good running start and splashes into the lake, sending up sprays of water everywhere.

Chris grins a knowing grin. Oh he's going to love Boss, Fang, and Spike isn't he?

Also yes, I mixed up Boss and Spike's names. Don't tell anyone.

"So, how you been holding up?"

Reinholdt eeps a little and holds his paws in front of him to avoid getting splashed in the face. Like that helps any.

"Me? Fine. Bit disturbed at the lack of adventures thrown my way. Usually I'm stretched so thin, I feel like there's five of me in different places at the same time. Know what I mean?" Maybe Reinholdt's just stopped jumping on every adventure hook.

Abigail scowls, and clenches her fist. "I want to punch him in the face as hard as I can."

...coming from Abigail, this is... more brutal than it seems.

"Hey, you'll have to take a number," Dani protests. Although her attacks usually involve astral crystals aimed at the other end of the torso...

"I believe Dani tried something similar to that with a knife. He teleported away." She scowls.
Though to be fair. She didn't really want him dead. So the scowl was more at Dani going berserk on him


She's pretty sure Dani isn't mad about the whole GloG thing so just better let that drop.

Nope. Just befuddled. And also distracted by thoughts of visiting grievous bodily harm on Al.
"Or I could sic my sister on him! He'd see her coming but there'd be nothing he could do about it!"

"Or we could get him to change his ways and starting by removing everything he did to Delta." Alexis is of the belief that changing evil is more productive then just ending it. "After all he's obviously terrible, but also smart what if he was helping people instead of ruining lives."

Chris nods his head. "Yeah, I can understand the feeling."

Reinholdt watches Thecla with what could only be called morbid fascination. "Crazy mutt."

"So what about you? What have you been up to?" The cat asks of Chris.

"Well, I just joined GLoG for one thing. From there, well, I've been dealing with some personal trouble, but other than that, not much."

"Well, maybe..." Dani allows - before one of those deadtime oozes gets her!

"Ah. So you finally talked to your daughter and everything?"
Reinholdt pauses for a bit.
"Oh. Right. And... ummm... welcome."

Thecla pops out of the lake near the other two and vigorously shakes to get all the water off. It has the effect of making her fur stick out in all directions. And now, finally, she doesn't smell so much like flowers. More like the strong smell of a wet wolf.

Chris looks at Reinholdt a bit oddly. "Nooooo, not quite that. Although some of the trouble did involve her potential spouse, I'll say that much. Really, most of the trouble was much more personal."

Reinholdt was merely referring to the fact that he said he had to talk to his daughter before joining. However, he is most unable to correct Chris! He's too busy diving behind him to avoid what he knows is coming.

The Drying of the Wolf.

Reinholdt watched in terror as the water splashed around him, wetting friend and rock alike, indiscriminate in its brutal assault. Cutting a swathe through the air, it was all the hardened soldier could do to hide behind his human shield. And he prayed. He prayed to what gods and goddesses there were that he might stay dry so that the sacrifice Chris made today would not go in vain. That he would be avenged for the heinous crimes committed today. One day. Reinholdt swore, that one day the dread Wolf and her liquid minions would meet his greatest and most effective weapon in all of his arsenal... the Towel. And on that day, HE would laugh loudest.

Until then, he deadtimes.

She feels nice and clean after that fight not to long ago and it feels good with the wind ruffling through her fur. She pads over to sniff at their feet. Her tail is wagging the entire time.

Chris smiles, and tries to pet Thecla's head. "Hey there."

Thecla is more than willing to let him ruffle her fur and she'll attempt to lick his hand in reply.

Chris smiles. "So, do you happen to talk?"

Thecla yips in reply. Which should be answer enough for now.
