Instead, she reaches out to take the silk dress with wonder.

Cierra looks up at Happy as she takes her hands. It looks like she's trying hard not to cry.

Mikani looks torwards Mister Buttons, to see if the big, smart cat accepts the apology!

Mister Buttons glares at the knightly nutcracker. Glaaaaares.
I think he needs to offer fish in appeasement.

The nutcracker isn't really concerned whether Mr. Buttons accepts the apology, just that he has made it and satisfied the demands of Mikani. He looks to her, and if he had an expression it would ask "are we done here?"

After a while of sitting in the infirmary Crissellea starts to sit up. Why? Because the sound of wagon wheels is heard and Jeffery her butler/manservant steps through the door. " Your ride is here madam Crissellea. " The older gentleman says. The you maiden nods and gets up. " Thank you Jeffery. " She says and then walks out, gets in the carriage and then is driven away back to her home.((Thecla can come along as well))

Meanwhile, Abigail looks at Jamie! "Did you hear from Misaki?"

Liara hugs back! "Love you."

"I you, too."

He keeps hugging her for some time and then softly tries to continue the walk.

[Earl of Purple]

Three elves are staring out at the lake. There's a tall, red-haired, green eyed wood elf, a short, purple-eyed and black haired wild elf and a brown-haired and blue-eyed high elf. They occasionally glance around the camp, to make sure nobody's creeping up on them.

They will see Andy walking with Liara. And if they don't hide themself Andy will see them.

[Earl of Purple]

The three ex-slaves will notice Andy and Liara, but they don't hide. They don't know him, which is good because they'd recognise most of their previous owner's employees. They still get glanced at, though, and the gazes are worried, cautious and slightly fearful.

[Zefir]

Well since they dnon't seem to do anything. Andy will just lokk and wave with a friendly smile.

[Earl of Purple]

Well, since he seems friendly, the three ex-slaves will cautiously approach, waving back. They seem ready to run at any time, though.

[Infirmary Office]

Chris breaths in. "Well, you've actually done a good job convincing me. It's everyone else who I doubt. I might want to make sure that they can guarantee our safety."

Chris takes another sip of his coffee. He then looks to Quinn. "Well, how has everything been going since I've spontaneously left?"

"Well, I think our resident Exalted can help with that. And overall...well, things have been alright." Quinn smiles. "I got reminded that it's all worth it in the end..."
And she explains about the letter of thanks and the pictures.

Mikani starts to shake her head, but then that particular strand of continuity thwacks her upside the noggin.
"I...think so? Something about monkeys?"

"Yeah... do you want to go check it out now?"

"We should prepare more. Try to figure out exactly where she is and what we're up against as much as possible so we know where to go, what to hit and what to kill," Mikani says, perhaps channeling a bit of her inner Tobias...

((And since I'm only on for an hour and I think NK's deadtimed at the moment.))


Meanwhile, by the lakeshore, Shrike seems to be snoozing in the sun...

And Zamira heads towards her! "Hey, Shrike."

"All right. She wasn't sure where she was, though... Maybe we should check out where there are gorillas in the Nexus?"

Shrike sits up, and grins.
"Hey, Z. Please tell me you've got something for me to do..."

And Jamie turns to head to the Infirmary.

Zamira smiles. "Well, a couple of things. If you want, we could try practicing escaping or something."

She pokes her tongue out at Shrike.

"That sounds like a good plan to me," she declares as she stands.

Mikani enters and heads to the filing cabinets on the wall, opening one and producing an Approximate Map of the Nexus and Surrounding Worlds (Subject To Change on the Whim of Anybody).

Zamira chuckles. "Let's head to our cabin, then. You practice first?"

She'll lead Shrike to their cabin!

Jamie shakes her head. "Maybe. But she's been under a lot of stress lately. I want to surprise her and do this ourselves if we can. Maybe we could get Holly to come with us..."

Once Zamira gets there, she starts rummaging around! "So, what do you want to practice escaping from?

By the way, no Charms for this. Also, time limit, or just stay in until you manage to escape?"

Abigail nods. "All right. Any places that look like they might be it? She said mountains..."

"Time limit. Ten minutes, and if I don't escape, I'm yours for the night."

Mikani harumfs, and peers at the Mountains on the map.

"I've read that nobody's explored the Mountains in ages!"

Of course, Reinholdt, Treasure Hunter Extraordinaire might have while hunting dwagons.

Oh thank you. I like to think I'm a decent tailor, but I don't do it much. There's only so many pairs of pants we need, after all!

Olivia accepts the dress with eager arms. For the first time, she might even seem a bit happy.
