Chris nods his head, a bit confused at the fact that she's a goblin but hey. "Morning." He gives a short wave to her.

"So Liara I need to talk to the the Leader of Glog. It is Quinn right? Do you know where I can find her?"

"actually, it's a council now. She's on it, though, so you could talk to her."

"That's understandable. I've only been around here for a relatively short time, and I just became a new member today. My name is Chris." He holds out his hand to shake.

Chris looks like he recognizes the name. "Nice to meet you too."

"I was actually looking for you. Mrs. Druid said that you might be able to use an extra set of hands with constructing a Giant Slide of some sort? Anyways, I could use some productivity, so I wanted to find you and see how I could help."

We already do have a Giant Slide. I wasn't aware something's wrong with it, though. But if there is, I'll try to fix it and I could definetly use the help.

With exaggerated pomp, Sir Sugartongs corrects his appearance. Which isn't much, really, being a nutcracker doll with painted on clothes. "I will depart swiftly." And the Nutcracker moves to do so, bringing along his depressed sounding teapot. Poor teapot, your plate will just never be the same.

"...you might want to do something about your wooden personality!" Mikani calls after the departing knightly nutcracker.

...yes, she really is the Spawn of Tobias...

Abigail will, in fact, accept the offer.

Well, there are lots of mountains in the Nexus. Just looking for mountains won't really help them all that much1 However, they have more clues than that! They know Misaki is near a large body of water, near some mountains, that there are lots of birds where she is, and also lots of very mean not nice monkeys. And also lots of flowers!

...

Just looking at maps won't help them find a place like that, though. Or rather, the right place like that. They might need more clues, unless they want to explore every single place that matches that description.

I dunno, though. Maybe they do want to do that. It would probably lead to some wacky adventures. Might take a very long time, though.

And so the next morning Jamie, up first, perhaps, prepares toast with lots of strawberry jelly. Then heads back over to resume studying the map!

And sighs, as she finds lots of mountans and lots of water, resting her chin in her hands with a sigh...

As a glob of jelly lands on the map.
"Oh, bother..."

Quinn happens to be here, staring out the window and missing her husband.

And Shrike returns with Zamira's food, and a smile.
"Here you go, Lunar mine."

Abigail looks at her. "I know you don't want to, but I honestly think we'll have to ask your mum to locate Misaki for us. It'll take months otherwise, and we... really don't have that long. We need to find her before the monkeys do."

Zamira smiles at her. "I'll need feeding, though, love."

She wriggles a bit to demonstrate why.

Mister Buttons lies down to lick at his wounded paw and clean the blood up. His scalded back hurts too. And he misses his soul.

"I guess you're right." Jamie sighs, running her hand through her hair. "You go find her, alright? I'll get this jelly off the map..."

Shrike chuckles, and sits next to Zamira, feeding her lover her breakfast with a smile.

Poor Mister Buttons. Mikani just got mauled by the vengeful ghost of continuity!

Chris shrugs though. "But in either case, I'll be glad to help."

I suppose we should go and take a look, then. Follow me. Reelshka will lead Chris to the Giant Slide.

Brinika, meanwhile, pokes her head into the Infirmary. She thought she'd heard a new voice there...

Abigail nods... and goeth to find Quinn!

Who might be surprised at the teenager who's four years older than when she last met her.

Once she's done, she smiles at Shrike. "Thanks, love."

Chris nods his head, and silently follows her over there.

Brinika will probably see the new person heading into the office. Jamie, spotting Brinika, smiles and waves!


Quinn, meanwhile, is looking out the window, and humming a Celtic tune.

So, you ready to make sure I don't make too much noise?"

In a flash, she's out of her chair and over to try and hug Abigail tightly!

"That? That was Abigail. She's an old friend of mine who just got back from being away for awhile." Jamie smiles broadly. "And we're getting ready to go rescue another old friend!"

Oooh. Really? Who is this other old friend? Sadly, Brinika is unlikely to join the mission on account of not being useful for this sort of thing. And Caretaker might object.

I don't think we have the materials needed. We'll have to buy them. I'm not sure if we have the funds, though.
