Once Jorje is done, Mr. R will teleport the plate away and then vanish in a burst of sparkles. Or at least that's how it will appear, in reality, he's still there under an invisibility spell, watching Jorje.

Jorje will take one of the spiders down and mutter at it in Abyssal. He's praying to Dalachrech and asking the spider to send a message to the Hermitage of Dalachrech. Jorje thinks that's the closest Temple, he doesn't know where he is but thinks that "Rumplestiltskin" wouldn't risk his prisoners kept in Inside where, if they escape, there's lots of people that could be informed.

The spider looks confused, but nonetheless scuttled off to try and complete it's mission. Not that it will be met with much success. And unless Jorje is quite powerful, he shouldn't be able to communicate with anyone outside the demi-plane that is the mansion.

Jorje doesn't have any magical means of communicating with others of his religion, apart from a single magic item that isn't powerful enough to traverse dimensional barriers. Plus he still thinks he's still in the Nexus so wouldn't try any magic powerful enough to cross those barriers.

After a few minutes, Mr. R silently teleports away, disappointed at the lack of clever escape schemes. The spider, meanwhile, searches for a way out of the mansion, but cannot seem to find one.

If he had his club, Jorje would try to escape. But he's unarmed, in an unknown location and he's just sent a messenger to get help. Maybe if the spider returns to report its failure, he'll try and escape, but he thinks the spider can get out through a neglected crack, or an old sewer pipe, or an open window, and tell somebody where he is and his situation so that somebody will try and rescue him.

"Between caramel and music nobody really listens to unless they hear it in a movie, I have a lot of addictions," Phil admits.

Giving one last look at the writing on the wall, Alex uncovers the areoplane that they arrived in and sets off, putting the disappearance of her companion up to the strangeness of the world. Odder things are certainly yet to come.

It's possible that Val, after being offscreen for quite awhile, might be landing at the Island from a supply run and parking her own airplane at the beach.

"Definitely," Phil nods.
"I gotta say, thanks. Thanks for letting me stay at HALO when I needed that mental help after that crazy dude ****ed with my mind, though I should thank everyone there for that. Thanks for saving my life. Thanks for fixing my arm. Thanks for joining me at dinner, and thanks for the...er...curtains."

"Ah. Well, that's not too bad," Quinn observes with a smile.

"You're welcome. For all of those." Erin chuckles. "It's the least I could do for such a handsome young man. Or for anyone, but the handsomeness most of all." And she winks.

Val finds the note, and gets a look of concern for her friends. But nontheless starts hauling in the cargo. Mostly food. And mostly ramen.

"You know, I think that's the nicest complement anyone's ever given me that didn't involve something they paid me to make," Phil smiles.

Erin smiles. "Really? Well, you need to get out more, then. I know there's lots of young ladies who wouldn't mind your attentions."

"This misanthropy and inventing and worrying about bothering people sorta kept me too busy for that," Phil says sheepishly.

Erin reaches out to give Phil's cheek a pat.
"Well, maybe now your priorities are a bit straighter then, hmmm?"

"I guess so," Phil sips at his coffee, then gulps at it.

Erin chuckles, and slowly sips the rest of her coffee.

Phil finishes his coffee and heads to the kitchen to rinse his cup out and toss it on the counter for later use. He can't really think of anything to sau, so he says nothing for the moment.

Erin, meanwhile, after a few minutes slips out of bed and dresses, smiling the whole time.

Phil sees her getting dressed and figures he probably should, too. He slides into a new pair of jeans and a brown t-shirt with a picture of a smiling strip of bacon on it.

Erin's outfit being a slightly tight T-shirt and a mid-thigh-length skirt...

She chuckles at his shirt. "Shouldn't that piece of bacon be screaming?" she quips. "I think it's about time I headed back to HALO, unless you had anything more you'd wish to show me?"

"Nah, I don't really have much finished that's not just some tidbit lying around waiting to be used as part of a bigger project. If you're heading back, lemme drive you to the docks, I'd hate to be impolite."

"And a gentleman, too...you're going to make some girl a very lucky woman," Erin smiles. A small part of her brain scolding her, but most of that part went off when she split into Erin and Aeryn... "If you'll lead the way, good sir?"

Phil smiles at the complement and will lead Erin down and into the garage where the truck is waiting, holding open the passenger door for her.

Crissellea smiles back and nods. " Yes it is. " Then she turns to look at the two girls, Neon, and Thecla. " Is everybody enjoying the meal? "
