Thecla stays close to Mikani and sniffs the air as she pads into the dining area. She's trying to sort through any smells present and determine what they are.

"I'm sure you don't," Erin says, smirking right back. "But you'd have to stop working on your mech in order to do that."

Presumably by now breakfast has been finished, and Brendan goes to open up the store.

"if you're asking for a checkup, I could always take a look under your hood," Phil quips.
Wow. He really has changed his worldview. He doesn't hesitate to flirt. That was quick.

Erin beams.
Aeryn, closer to her former self, would be appalled.

But Erin chuckles. "Why, Phil. One might think that you're almost eager to have a look."

Phil covers his mouth in badly faked shock.
"Oh? But this is purely professional! You absolutely MUST be sure at all times that everything fits together properly!"

"Well, if you're not busy..." Erin says, puttng a finger to her lips in mock thought. And winking at him.

"Oh, I can cut some time out of my schedule," Phil puts down the pneumatic hammer and strikes a pose.
He conveniently forgets that all he's wearing is a labcoat and that striking a pose pulls said labcoat to the side, showing EVERYTHING.

Erin gives Phil a good looking-over.
Winks.
Then crooks a finger before turning and heading in the direction of the bedroom.

Erin looks back over her shoulder as they reach the bedroom, winks, and disrobes...already reaching for the curtain.

Phil follows after, but the closing curtain trips him and he falls into it alongside Erin!
I don't think he took the labcoat off, either.

" A-a-ah, y-yes. " Crissellea says taking the offered arm. Her hand and arm in Neon's will be relaxed, delicate and soft. The rest of her whoever is stiff and nervous and that darn blush isn't going away. " Th-this way. " She says and leads them to the dinning room.

It's more like a dinning hall than a room actually. It looks like the table there could sit twenty or more comfortably but only six places are set at the far end of the table. Again everything is richly decorated and a full table setting is set.

The Knight's arm, on the other hand, is strong and well muscled, which is to be expected given his profession. The knight smiles broadly at the presented scene, and turns his head to Crissellea. "It looks wonderful. Might I have the honor of having the seat next to yours?"

" Oh, thank you. It isn't anything that great, I mean you should see the grande ballroom. I'm glad you think that it's incredible. "
She says to Mikani and Quinn. Then Neon speaks up and Crissellea says the only thing she can think of to say. " T-to the right or left? " She's able to spurt out nervously.

The table is already set with dinner rolls, salads, and a few other appetizers. Again, there are six places set, one at the head of the table, three on the left and two on the right.

"To the right, of course. I wouldn't want to intrude on Jamie's group." The Knight will escort Crissellea to her seat at the head of the table, and get her chair for her, before taking his own seat.

Once it's clear where the Knight and his Lady are going to be seated, Thecla takes a moment to circle the room and sniff around. She's always curious about everything.

Two figures charge toward the mansion, evidently racing each other. One pulls ahead for a moment, then drops back wearily. He is wearing full body plate armor, so that reaction to sprinting is normal. The other rushes towards the door, gaining speed, at least until the armor clad figure tackles him. The outstretched hand of the unarmored figure might thud against the door as though someone was knocking. As the two brawl, their bodies are periodically thrown against the door simulating continued rapping upon the door.

"Yield!"

"Fighting me is futile!"

Caelus exits the mansion. Greetings. Are you paladins? Did you see my ad?

"To the right, of course. I wouldn't want to intrude on Jamie's group." The Knight will escort Crissellea to her seat at the head of the table, and get her chair for her, before taking his own seat.

The room will smell the same last time Thecla was in here. Though she will probably also smell the nervousness from Crissellea as she let's Neon get her seat for her. " Th-thank you sir North. Just sit where you want everyone. "

With that invitation, Thecla goes to the spot where she usually gets fed and plops down on her haunches on the floor to wait for dinner to be served.

[Caelus's Mansion]

The two figures are on the ground attempting to eradicate each other. One is attempting to put the other in an arm lock while the other is repeatedly hitting the other in the breadbasket. When Caelus speaks, the two immediately stop brawling and spring to their feet. Their appearances do not suggest that they have been fighting at all.

"Greetings, my name is Sir Hamnet. I am a knight. I am here to aid you."

Hamnet, the one in the pristine, white armor, responds. He is described on his character sheet.

"And I am Lawerence. A lawyer and killer. I am here to serve justice."

Lawerence, the man in the crisp, ironed, black suit responds. His briefcase sits nearby.

"Hold. I'm getting an update from Wallchan."

Lawerence produces a vibrating Blackberry from one of his jacket pockets and stares at its screen for a moment.

"What luck! He is pompous enough to fight both of us at the same time. Truce?"

Lawerence holds out his right hand and hesitantly Hamnet shakes it.

"How strong does he think he is? If he is as powerful as he seems, we are going to have to hunt down my old friend, Chezchire, and ally with him...assuming he is still breathing."

It appears that they are getting along quite well now. Now they need to find out what this job entails.

"So, who are we going to be slaying today?"

Lawerence inquires.

Hamnet nods his head. Lawerence crosses his arms and responds in his soothing voice,

"No problem. We are ready for the mission when you are."

Lawerence draws a pistol resembling a .45 Magnum and begins to load it with incendiary ammo.

Hamnet lifts his visor revealing his face.

They both appear eager to get this mission underway.

With that invitation, Thecla goes to the spot where she usually gets fed and plops down on her haunches on the floor to wait for dinner to be served.

Crissellea chuckles. " Thecla, I got you a seat made for the table. See? " She says and points to a chair that has no backing, is wider than a usual chair, and has more padding on the seat.

Thecla promptly pops over to sniff at it before jumping up. It feels really odd to her to sit at the table with everyone else. She's been eating off dishes or the floor or ground for so long now, it's second nature and tables just seem odd.

Hamnet inquires in a respectful tone,

"Would you like us to perform any other service for you while we wait?"

Hamnet has now drawn his sword and is evaluating its condition. Lawerence appears to be checking the sights of his pistol.

They have a day to prepare. Knowing these men, they might spend the whole time cleaning and testing their weapons and equipment if they are allotted twenty-four with no instructions on how to allocate their time.

The Neon Knight takes his seat along the right side, removing his cap and settling in.

"Oh, it's quite alright," Quinn says with a nod. "Take whatever seat you'd like."

Mikani, meanwhile gets a bit of a 'oooh, ick, mushiness' face as she takes a seat, but smiles politely, Quinn sitting between her and Crissellea, Mikani patting the seat next to her for Abigail.

Unable to sleep, Aeryn climbs out of bed and heads to the window, resting her elbows on it and her chin in her hands, looking out over the nighttime cityscape of Inside.

"That seems like an idea."

Hamnet replies, still examining his sword.

"And we will be only a call away if you require anything else."

Lawerence tenderly places his pistol into his jacket.

"So, what was your homeworld like?"

Lawerence inquires. It is a clever idea to gather intel about operations before executing them, after all.
