There's a lot of undead. Haven't been there in a few years so my intel is limited.

Lawerence is ordering an item (rushed delivery) on his blackberry.

Hamnet has sheathed his blade and is ready to follow Caelus where he leads them. I believe he has one more query for Caelus. Hamnet speaks in an interested tone,

"What is so special about this artifact, and how will it help us eradicate whatever thing you are fighting?"

He puts undue emphasis on the word "thing." He seems to recognize this creature as an object, not a sentient organism. I guess that this practice makes the act of murder seem less horrific than it actually is to Hamnet. Either that or he just doesn't believe that this "thing" deserves to be acknowledged a sentient being.

Thecla promptly pops over to sniff at it before jumping up. It feels really odd to her to sit at the table with everyone else. She's been eating off dishes or the floor or ground for so long now, it's second nature and tables just seem odd.

The Neon Knight takes his seat along the right side, removing his cap and settling in.

"Oh, it's quite alright," Quinn says with a nod. "Take whatever seat you'd like."

Mikani, meanwhile gets a bit of a 'oooh, ick, mushiness' face as she takes a seat, but smiles politely, Quinn sitting between her and Crissellea, Mikani patting the seat next to her for Abigail.

Crissellea smiles to all of her friends gathered and soon there are platers being set out onto the table and the lids removed. Seems like the main course is lobster and steak. " Go ahead and dig in. " Crissellea says gesturing to the small buffet set out on the table.

Er...Thecla will wait til everyone else has chosen what they want. She doesn't think they want wolf hair in their food and it'll be hard for her to reach out and get what she's interested in.

Well, Hamnet and Lawerence will spend the night and be prepared for adventure when Caelus calls them to action, assuming that Caelus has no further requests for them.

Caelus grabs his armor and sword. He coolly walks down the stairs grasping a wand. Shall we go?

Riv teleports to in front of the mountain, along with three dozen Pizza Drones. Assuming nothing stops him, he'll knock on the door.

Caelus opens the door. Hello?

Hi, I'm here to brutally slaughter an undead mockery of my archnemesis in order to release excess aggression. I brought booze, and ox tongue sandwiches. Riv says, gesturing to the squadron of thirty six heavily armored Pizza Drones behind him, one of which is carrying a keg and picnic basket.

This expedition isn't to kill him! Caelus shouts.

Will it cause him significant mental or physical pain?

Eventually, yes.

Then let's get going. Riv says, pulling a Gauss submachine gun from his pocket. The Pizza Drones are very heavily armed by the way, and they even brought an armored truck.

Lawerence and Hamnet eagerly approach Caelus. It may be noteworthy that Lawerence is wearing an urban battle dress uniform. Lawerence is additionally holding a flamethrower with its fuel tank strapped to his back. His pistol, blackberry, a few explosives, and a basic combat medical kit are stored in his pockets. Hamnet is clad in his glimmering, pristine, white plate armor. His protective, steel shield has been strapped to his left forearm and his fine sliver sword radiates with searing energy The red pommel and gilded hilt shimmer in the light. Hamnet's visor covers his face, concealing it behind a sheet of metal.

"I see we are joined by other warriors. Fortune has granted us yet another boon. Let the operation commence!"

Hamlet exclaims with massive amounts of irrepressible zeal.

Lawerence just stares at Riv's army. Stares. Lawerence ponders this situation for a moment then shrugs. Traveling with a convoy will be safer, especially if the convoy acts as a decoy to draw the attention of the undead away from an elite group tasked with the retrieval of the parcel.

Crissellea smiles at everyone eating. " I'm glad you all like it. " The maiden says getting a bit of the salad, a roll, and a small lobster on her plate.

The Knight pauses for about 3 seconds before answering, "Cheap prices at MagMart for key lime pie, ample amount of monkeys, clean air, an interest in architecture, a desire to learn Ancient Egyptian, and a pressing need for a vacation that was worse than my job so I'd never resent going into work again. Oh, and a desire to protect the innocent, save the imperiled, defeat the wicked, and earn honor for myself."

Thecla's ears perk up and she looks at Quinn and nods. That would be very helpful. She subtly gestures at the different meat based choices on the table.

Quinn quickly dishes up a plate for Thecla, setting it down for their wolfy friend.

Mikani's eyes widen. "Ooooh. You like Key lime pie too? It's awesome! I don't like monkeys much though," she adds frowning. "I need to rescue a friend from them. But I guess that's protecting the innocent isnt it?"

The pale woman can't help but giggle a little behind her hand at the knight's reply. It really was quite silly. " So this is your vacation then is it sir North? " She asks pleasantly but with a hint of joking in it.

Now, Thecla will happily dig in, although she does it politely and doesn't inhale or wolf down her dinner. She eats a bite at a time and listens to the conversation as a polite creature should do in times like these.

Well, I don't know about that. But ti feels like the Bahamas whenever I see you smile. "Yes, it is! And a pretty good one at that." The Knight looks to Mikani. "And good luck to you. Monkeys can be persistent buggers. And yes, that is protecting the innocent."

Mikani beams, and digs into her food happily.

Quinn smiles. "I'm proud of her," she tells the other adults at the table, ruffling Mikani's hair - which draws a protest of "Mooooom!" "She takes after her dad too."

Crissellea giggles and smiles at Neon before turning to Quinn. " I'm guessing she got her best qualities from you Quinn? Actually... I don't think I've met your husband Quinn. " She says and thinks for a second.

"I think she got the best of both of us," Quinn says, smiling. "And Toby can be a bit...irascible at times, but he has the best heart I've ever known."
