OH MY GOD. There are no words for how stupid this is. Randy is going to serenade Luna about how she inspired him not to disfigure himself.

Also, this strip is yet another proof that Mookie monitors his snarkbase. This strip specifically addresses, yet again, the topics we brought up: the reason why Randy chose to only rip out one tusk (unanesthetized, with some pliers apparently), and whether he really had the hots for Luna. Mookie couldn't possibly have the latter ahppen, then conflict would existed amongst his Mary Sue self-inserts.

Is it wrong of me that when I saw that final panel, my first thought was that Randy was going to bludgeon Luna to death with the guitar? I mean if I met someone who looked as creepy as Luna in Panel 5, I'd want to bludgeon them too.

Moment of Delusion: Could it be possible that Randy's not serious about Luna being his idol? I mean Panel 7 seems to be making him seem rather sarcastic about the whole thing.

I don't remember Battle for Barthis very well, but I'm sure that someone can inform me; this strong, proud, tusk-flaunting person he's referring to? Wasn't she having some sort of crisis of confidence in or nearby the Arc that had her sobbing in depression AGAIN for many long strips before, during and around that time?

If I thought that Mookie would handle this properly and have One-Tusk find this out and thus come to the conclusion "Oh, she's human too, that's neat but not incredible" then I wouldn't mind so much, but really.... How likely is that to happen, when we can be taught to love Luna all the more for being such a great manic-depressive person. (Because, like tusks, schizophrenia is a virtue!)

Sort of, but for the most part, she was only around to tell Dominic how great he is.


Still, it seems rather likely that this will be brought up by Luna herself. Basically, I expect Randy to become Nimmel 1.5. (He could have been Nimmel 2.0, but he ripped out half of the things that set him apart.)

And then he was tricked by a lie. A first-caste illusion. A false idol. Instead of something true, that would never fall out underneath him to reveal the horrible face of a gassy stone toddler.

If this comic takes the direction of breaking down all the lies it built up....This would be the best comic ever. If this comic took a sudden turn for the depressing (People realizing how messed up their world is) then I would forgive everything. This has such potential for good story. How this could be worse: Randy is given a Luna egg so he can have a piece of her. This would be the cheesiest thing ever and wouldn't even make sense.

Oh you did it! After years of school repression and suffering I developed a realy messed up inner psyche. If you want dark, il give you dark:

The sudden messed up jolt of emotion causes the real luna to break free. Underneath all the denial she was still a depressed and suicidal woman. Since she is dominics finance she is un-effected by the Deegan drug thing. She in fact has limited powers of Dominion. She begins to flee from Dominic who in responce tightens the control over his kingdom. Jocks become rapists and muggers so that he has the right to "save" luna from one of them. She falls to Stockholm syndrom and gives Randy the power to resist the drug (With the last of her powers). Although he is messed up Luna tells him that if Dominic catches her he will loose free will once more (A lie). The chance ensues and they flee to the semashi kingdom that offers them escape. But Dominic reveals spies that had already planted some of the Drug in the country. So the country engages in a bloody civil war and eventualy most of the world (And the Underground resistance: Hell, led by Karnak and Siggy who Proceeded to fuse with his father that tell that rational hatred is the only way to resist the drug. Thats why he hated orcs all this time.). Eventually Dominic realizes that with the war he has forgotten about Snuggly which begins to devour the realm. But it begins to get surreal. Snuggly suddenly explodes and Luna just appears in front of him. He stabs her. Then it reveals that this was all a fake reality created by him because he destroyed out of anger and jealousy the real world. So when he remembered that he simply destroys this fake plane and begins building himself another delusion (Albeit with less free will), to forget himself in.
