Caretaker hovers over to the box with the pillow and rests there. He doesn't actually need to do it, being a drone and all, but Brinika wants him to so he does.
The little goblin, meanwhile, blinks at Natalie's question. Um, really? Mom always says I make a mess.

[Brinika's Bedroom]

"Well, it's tidier than most peoples rooms," Jamie says with a giggle, giving Natalie a teasing poke in the shoulder.

Goblin Colony- Brinika's Bedroom

Natalie would have automatically taken her shoes off at the front door, by the way. "I'm a bit of a hoarder. I don't like getting rid of things, and my room is relatively small. Slightly smaller than this room, anyway." Natalie shares her hoarding habit with her player, though her room's bigger than mine so she has more floorspace to move around in.

[Goblin Colony- Brinika's Bedroom]

Brinika giggles a little as well. I guess I do have a big room. Much bigger than the one I used to have. She sits down on her bed. What do you wanna do after dinner? I thought we could go and meet my friends down here.

[horngeek]

Abigail does make her way up to Brinika's room, finding somewhere she doesn't take up too much room. "Sounds good to me."

Goblin Colony- Brinika's Bedroom

Natalie ignored Jamie's pokes. "That sounds good to me!" Natalie smiles and seems really interested as she spreads the skirts of her denim dress and sits crosslegged on the floor.

"Yeah. I think that's a good idea too," Jamie says with a cheerful smile and nod of agreement, sitting as well. "So, what do you think of GLoG as opposed to here?" she asks Brinika.

[Morty]

[GC - BB]

Brinika's brow furrows in thought and her feet dangle from her bed. I don't know. I like both places.

[The Bushranger]

[GC-BB]

"I guess they're both pretty nice, huh?" Jamie smiles, and then leans back to stretch out on the floor and relax. "Brinika? Thanks for bringing us here. This is really, really cool."

[Morty]

[GC - BB]

Brinika beams upon hearing that. Thanks! There's still a couple of places I want to show you.

"Oh? Like what?" Jamie looks up, interested.

[Earl of Purple]

"I agree with Jamie. This place rocks." After that horrendous pun, Natalie listens to Jamie's question, and is interested in the answer though chooses not to comment upon it.

Well... there's the cave where me and my friends throw rings at stalagmites. And the underground river. And there's that cave that was uncovered recently with some really strange crystals.

[The Bushranger]

[GC-BB]

Jamie takes 2d6 PUN damage!

"A crystal cave?" Jamie sits up, suddenly looking distinctly interested. "How are they strange?"

[Morty]

[GC - BB]

They seem to vibrate when something or someone makes a sound near them. But I haven't really checked them out properly yet.

"According to some New Age Spiritualists, Neo-Pagans and fortune tellers, some crystals have healing properties. In many role-playing and computer games, crystals are associated with energy, either psionic or magical. Is it possible that these crystals can do something like that?" Natalie sounds really curious.

[Morty]

Brinika understood about half of what Natalie just said, but that's enough. Maybe. I don't think any wizards have taken a look at them yet. Not that there's a whole lot of wizards in any goblin colony.

[The Bushranger]

"So...maybe they're psionic amplifiers?" Jamie asks, having understood that 'Natalie would get along with normal!Vincent pretty well' from that speech.

Brinika scrunches her nose. What's "psionic"?

[Murkus]

GC-BB

Sarah is... still here! I totally forgot about her.

"It means having powers that come from your mind." Sarah pipes up informatively.

[Morty]

[GC-BB]

Isn't that what magic is? Brinika asks, confused. Anyway, I'll show you those rocks and we'll see what they really are.

[The Bushranger]

GC-BB

Jamie shakes her head.
"Magic is harnessing powers that come from outside of you. Psionic abilities come from inside," she explains. "And I'd love to see them!"

[horngeek]

Abigail starts chuckling at this. "So, technically I'm a Psionic?

Basically, the difference is really complicated and varies from universe to universe."

[Morty]

Brinika scratches her ear. Uh, I guess. I don't know a lot about magic and stuff. Plus there's no psionics on her homeworld.

[Murkus]

GC - BB

"What Abigail said. It's really confusing. It's kinda silly to learn too much, anyway." Sarah nods in a sagely manner and waits to see the aforementioned crystals.

[Morty]

I'm fine without any magic, Brinika states firmly. So... do you want to go see those crystals right after dinner or do you want to meet my friends first?

[The Bushranger]

[GC-BB]

"Well, I think I'd like to meet your friends first," Jamie says with a smile.

[Murkus]

GC - BB

"Same here." Sarah says, grinning foolishly.

[Morty]

[GC - BB]

Brinika nods happily. It's settled, then.
And right on cue, her mother calls from the direction of the kitchen: Dinners ready, girls!

Sarah starts towards the door, sniffing for whatever concoction Brinika's mother has come up with. "Well, this oughta be interesting."
