Very much so. I think it's considered incredibly unusual for a reincarnated human soul to remember much of its past life. Exaltations are likewise scrubbed fairly clean by Lytek, but people who have had a Celestial Exaltation for a long while (I forget how long, longer than 100-200 years?) still leave some impression on it. I don't think it's much more extensive than old memories and feelings occasionally leaking through (and involves the Past Lives merit), as when Marena had a flashback during Nemen Yi's rampage.

Green Sun Princes, on the other hand, illustrate why getting those Exaltations scrubbed can be a good thing. Theirs aren't, so, while their new owners get access to the knowledge and ability of a First Age Solar, there's also a good chance the Solar's personality will take over and do its own thing if it's used too much.

I'm pretty sure they all have to enter individually ("The four of you are all eligible", though Misho might not be because he already has a key) instead of competing as a team. Maybe they can pass it around after they win, but it might have to go to the rightful owner as determined by Costora.

Probably in the Bureau of Nature, though I'm not to sure on that as Yu-Shan isn't a strong suit of mine.

There's a spell that lets you taunt the universal concept of existing, who punches you in the face, thus making you not exist for a little while.

So yeah.

The tiger Lunar still has the Moonsilver Key. Celestial Exalted, Lunars especially, can live a very long time sans violent deaths. Of course given some of the implications regarding him even violent deaths might not be enough to make him stop kicking.

He's an Essence 9 or 10 Chimera, so he's almost certainly immortal. Chimera knacks pretty much give you Deathlord-level immortality.

Though Sidereals are actually the longest naturally living of the Exalted, at 5000 years exactly, to the Lunars and Solars ~3000.

My personal guess would be God of Beaches in the Celestial Isle (or THE beach, since it is technically all one beach). That's a fairly important Terrestrial position, and if Costora is old enough to have gotten his hands on the Jade key, he's probably pretty powerful personally.

And he doesn't strike me as the type to try to move up the bureaucratic ladder.

Yes Sidereals naturally live the longest, however they are unable to benefit from any life span enhancing magic as their deaths are predestined. Where as Lunars have Charms that let them stop aging, and age backwards, and all kinds of crazy stuff.

Also I know about Chimeras and near immortality, that's what I was saying, I just wasn't as direct about it. Though Chimera Knacks as far as I know do nothing for aging so he would have to deal with that some other way. Not that it would be hard for a First Age Lunar.

That's actually probably a fairly good guess. Though the fact that he wouldn't be the type to move up the bureaucratic ladder doesn't mean he couldn't be a powerful celestial god. It would just explain why he spends his time in Creation rather than Yu-Shan. Though admittedly The Blessed Isle seems to be a strange place for a god to set up shop if it's not strongly tied to it's domain in some way. Just more support for your guess I suppose, or that it's just the one beach.

And if I recall, Solars can do something like double their life expectancy through charms, before even getting into artifacts, and even DB's can continue to live so long as they aren't botching a... Stamina+Resistance roll, IIRC?

I believe it's stated that he is a Terrestrial god, but we don't know how far his domain stretches. He could be the god of all beaches on the Blessed Isle, for example.

When was it said specifically that he was a Terrestrial God? It hasn't been since his arrival so it would have had to have been when Ten was talking about him then. I'll go and see if I can find those strips.
