Re: Assassins IV: The Return
Vote. Otherwise I see the potential for wolf shenanigans. Though voting specifically for none one (example: no vote) might be acceptable. I dunno. Just throwing that out there, I'll leave it up to wiser minds.

Re: Assassins IV: The Return
Vote. Simpler, I should think. The no vote (or no lynch, perhaps) idea is intriguing, but... I'd just stick with vote required.

Re: Assassins IV: The Return
I think a red text vote should be required. No problem with the choice of a vote to No lynch.
It's all about the infomation. People have to lie in this game. Talk is cheap and while votes can be used to mislead too they carry more weight so you know people have thought about their choices to some degree.
If we allow people to just post then someone can just watch and commentate on the game quietly and slide through it without contributing on the outcome or playing in any meaningful way.
(That said - id lynch someone trying this as the play style is obviously pro-wolf. Should everyone just not vote then Noone's lynched and only night kills happen...etc)

Re: Assassins IV: The Return
Night 2
The Assassin moved quietly through the quiet city of Aemoh. The citizens had retired for the night.
He had been given a very important task. One that had to be fulfilled before the pretender could be disposed of.
He entered the Queen's stables, silencing first an old guard, and then the young stable boy.
The Queen had intentionally left the place lightly guarded. Intending no one would realize something important was within.
But she didn't know, the children of Osari knew. For years they had been infiltrating her Royal Guard. And now the time had come!!
The Assassin regained control of his senses. He could not mess this up. He quietly peeked into each stable, finding an ordinary stallion or filly in each.
Then he came upon a strange sight. A yellow pony curled up with a grey kitteh.
Spoiler
He had found it. Carefully he removed his dart gun, loaded the poison dart, and was about to take aim.
But as he raised the tube to his lips, he noticed something was wrong. His eyes opened wide. The kitteh was gone.
He looked around wildly, knowing he was in danger. That was no ordinary kitteh, that was the Sniper Kitteh. One of the foremost killers in the known kingdoms.
He stepped back toward one of the stalls, hoping to hide in its shadow. And then he saw movement. He looked up in the rafters, and barely moved in time as the crossbow bolt struck where his head had been.
He quickly lifted the blow gun to his lips and fired instinctively. Raaaer!! THUMP! By some miracle, he'd hit him.
The assassin smiled grimly. You are dead, Reinholdt. The poison in your system will kill you before you can reach a doctor. He called out triumphantly.
He then turned back to his primary target. Once again he loaded a poison dart, and lifted the tube to his mouth. As he looked at his target, she looked back at him with sad pleading eyes. But the assassin had no mercy for a yellow pony. And with one quickk blow, the pony began it's own journey to death.
Job done, the assassin started to leave. Out of the shadow, Reinholdt leapt at his killer, attaching himself to his face. After a few quick slashes, the assassin was finally able to rip the furred furry from his face. With one swift kick, he sent the kitteh flying back into the stables. Then fled into the night.
The next morning, the Royal Guards found the dead kitteh laying next to the dead pony.

Re: Assassins IV: The Return
Cowardly Noble Banjo realises he must accuse someone of being an assassin, even if it is just to get others to act. That would be preferable in fact, as that would mean he could avoid confrontation, a big binus for one as cowardly as he. Eventually he spots someone who might not be able to try and hit him if he accuses them.

Re: Assassins IV: The Return
This guard strokes his non-existent beard. Coin flipping obviously didn't work. Now, it's time to pick out an evil looking name. Like Eric, but with a k.
Not Grlump the Elder, sounds too close to Forrest Gump, and I like Forrest Gump.
Hmm...

Re: Assassins IV: The Return
While on patrol in the keep, one of the guards happens to come across a man who looks like an escaped prisoner. He seizes the man by the scruff of the neck and begins to drag him away.

And, randomly starting a wagon, Lord Loss.
If I creep into your house in the dead of night and strangle you while you sleep, you probably messed up your grammar.
I'm always extremely careful to hedge myself against absolute statements.

Suspects for killing Reinholdt include our narrator, of course. And Murska. And Reinholdt for killing Murska.
