"I apologise, I assumed you knew what the Fair Folk is"

Looking less angry and more teacher-ish, Friend begins pacing back and forth as he explains.

"The Fair Folk, or Fairies as some mortals call us, is a collective of beings far more magical than anything found on the mortal realm, or world follows few of the earthen rules and our power is rivaled only by the power of Gods"

He throws out his arms to indicate that there is a "but".

"I was banished from the Court three moons hence and cursed never to touch any magic ever again, that includes any that could enchant this armour"

Din starts unpacking in her room , looking sentimental

Ghar enters the cabin, scouting for a suitable room. He closes the door somewhat loudly behind him.

"Anybody home?"

[Infirmary]

Ermine nods. Then she sits down to finish her rum and inspect the healed bullet wound. I'm assuming the skin is just as it was before, unless Ghar's magics just speeds up the process of scarring.

Assuming she isn't bothered again, the pirate will grumble something and go look at the lake.

Ghar enters the cabin, scouting for a suitable room. He closes the door somewhat loudly behind him.

"Anybody home?"

Din looks out of the Door of her room (A)

"ye....damn it...yes I'm here. what do you want?"

I was just checking into it and there are defined cabins. So I picked one that has room.

[Rowan Cabin] Well then.

Ghar smiles pleasantly at Din. There's a cruel edge to it though, barely noticeable.

"I was looking for a room to stay in. I'm a new member here. I was told that there are rooms available in this cabin."

[Reinholdt]

Din probably heard Reinholdt's speech about all the evil things he's done that occurred right after she deadtimed and before the guns started firing.

Anyways, Din and Ghar have been edited into the now existing Rowan cabin. If Ghar stays someplace else, it'll be changed.

"Now I get is where should I know you aren't allowed to touch magical thinks?"

He makes a reproachful face.

"Then it yould be a rare material. I heard of one that is like silk but fireproove in my homelands. Maybe it is one of this the cration is very expensive."

I was just checking into it and there are defined cabins. So I picked one that has room.

[Rowan Cabin] Well then.

In the time it took everyone to realize two people have been shot and to ready the emergency healing spells, the Magbot was already strapping the gun to its back and calling for an exit telewarp. The job was two shots, non-lethal. One to the individual who allowed Reinholdt's presence in GLoG, the other to that young lady he'd been seen with in Trog's. With no reason to stick around, the assailant telewarps away. I'm sure Tobias can figure something out even without the Magbot around to brutally shred to pieces, though.

Partway through his sprint to the treeline at the edge of camp, Toby steps into a plant and disappears. He expected the sniper to take a shot at him. He reappears behind where the Magbot was, but long after it telewarped away. He calmly puts his daggers away and kneels down to inspect the impressions in the ground, if any, made when the robot dropped out of the sky. The Druid looks around the area carefully, then finds a squirrel or a bird to tell him who, or at least what, the shooter was.

Quinn, meanwhile, her shoulder bandaged up, has rushed out to the edge of the woods, looking for Toby.

"I think I'll take a room here then." Ghar replies. "My name is Gulaghar, by the way."

"Din hylia..." she doesn't look too pleased about Gahr moving in

Oh, and Tony is in the infirmary looking slightly miffed that some stupid vampire drow wizard guy ((I think?)) was able to cure Reinholdt while he failed. He is now the latest in a long line of my characters to be shown up by somebody in the Nexus doing the thing he's spent his whole life working on better than he can.


Quinn can find Toby in the woods.

Clearly Tony needs consolation. That can come later.

Right now, though, Quinn rushes up to Toby and attempts the use of Ambush Hug Method.

Oh, and Tony is in the infirmary looking slightly miffed that some stupid vampire drow wizard guy ((I think?)) was able to cure Reinholdt while he failed. He is now the latest in a long line of my characters to be shown up by somebody in the Nexus doing the thing he's spent his whole life working on better than he can.

Poor Tony. If it's any consolation, it only worked because Ghar doesn't care what the patient naturally wants and because Tony loosened it first.

Errr... no time to undeadtime, but Mister Buttons is lying in the sun by the lakeside. He looks up and stares at Ermine for a little bit, then goes back to sleep.

Oh and Ermine's wound will leave no trace.

Ghar is enjoying her discomfort, although he doesn't show it.

"I look forward to working with you in the future." He says and goes to mark Room B in whatever manner is expected.

"I'll be seeing you." He then leaves to rejoin his plotclone waiting for Sarah.

Well I suppose Mr. Twigs the sparrow might have seen the Magbot, but I'm not sure if he's the most reliable source of information. "Man-shaped rock thing colored like the forest and holding a stick that went boom" is probably as accurate as he'll get.

Unless he finds a crow, of course. Those things are so smart it's scary.

As for impressions in the ground, there isn't much to go on, as the dirt in the area wasn't particularly soft. There's a few leaves in the area that look like they've been stepped on recently, but they're all at least an arm's length away from the sniper and cleverly arranged to look fairly natural.

Din gets up, and will wander to the lake, deciding to go out for a swim

Ermine glares at Mister Buttons. GLARES.

She's watching that bloody cat. Oh yes, that thing isn't going to sneak up on her again.

She gives Din a barely interested glance before going back to glaring at the sabretooth. Just because she needs something to be frustrated at. Too bad she's not allowed to shoot the darned thing.

They can tell him that it smelled like paint and GloG drones, I suppose. Given the paint job, the Magbot didn't shine that much, and probably wouldn't have struck any forest critters as particularly metallic, I guess. I dunno, really. I mean Little forest animals aren't really my narrative specialty, y'know.

Three elves are paddling in the lake's shallows. They are a red-haired, green-eyed wood elf, a black-haired, purple-eyed wild elf and a brown-haired, blue-eyed high elf. They are all young and male, but that seems to be all they have in common. If Din sees them, she might recognise them; they were slaves at the Hermitage until Din's escape.

"Walking was the worst part; we were barefoot, and we couldn't stop in case they were following." That's the wild elf.
"A nice lady named Brianna said she'd be able to fight off anything they sent our way, though." And that is the high elf. They forget to mention about the tongues, though.

When they see Din, they run over to hug her. They do that a lot, don't worry. "Yes. It wasn't a pleasant journey, though." That's the wood elf.

Din smiles "sorry...I should have made sure you were safe....but this is great. I feared that she'd recapture you"

"We doubt they'll try to recapture us, not now people know we exist. Regardless, they haven't tried anything yet." That makes their escape braver, if they think they'll be killed rather than recaptured. At least, in my book it does.
"Brianna also healed our tongues and our brands, which is good." Because they were mute at the Hermitage.
"Don't worry about not saving us; if you had tried to save us, it might have endangered you, and I doubt Elezibethele would give you the offer she did the next time. You gave us an escape method they weren't expecting, and that's all that is important."

Meanwhile, Brianna herself is talking with a woman... who looks a lot like Brianna. Same hair, same eyes. The woman is noticeably older, though.

They might be noticed.
