We Are Yorick
A group of (not-so-)legendary heroes are tasked with an epic task that could perhaps change the very foundations of the world as we know it probably! In their adventures they will find challenges that will most likely but perhaps not test the very insides of their hearts! Most probably.

Re: We Are Yorick
They work for me.
At the risk of sounding stupidly obvious, make sure you've waited enough for them to load.
The first comic's pretty awful, btw, as far as colouring goes.

Re: We Are Yorick
They aren't showing up for me, either, and this computer usual loads pretty good. (Not fast, but fast enogh that it should see whatever images you loaded up.)
I think you might want to look into this... Try looking at these comics at a different computer to test.Current avatar by me. (First one, so go easy on me.)

Re: We Are Yorick
Here's your problem. The link is:
http://1.2.3.11/bmi/img864.imageshack.us/img864/9962/weareyorick1dx.png
Just remove the "1.2.3.11/bmi/" from the URL and it should work. So here you go, fixed links for the first two comics:
Comic 1
Comic 2
Also, uh... Are you sure you want that bearded guy's mouth to be in that certain position? It sort of looks like it's on the chest rather than where it's supposed to be.Last edited by Omicroncubed; 2011-03-14 at 04:43 PM.

Re: We Are Yorick
Thanks for that.
I don't fret too much about the bearded guy's mouth, all of the males have squares for bodies.
Maybe he just has a really large chin.

Re: We Are Yorick
I thought i was lazy. There is way too many identical panels with minimal changes in each one. The background and the group are always the same.
Also in the fourth panel of the most recent comic there seems to be a mistake in the order of the elements. I think you need to put a lot more effort into this to make it interesting.

Re: We Are Yorick
Eh, the comic's only going to take place in the mortal realm for the first few strips. I see no reason to lavish the scenery just yet. (I named the comic after a dead Shakespherian jester for a reason, you see).
There is actually a reason why everything's the same, though it is still admittedly a half-assed explanation for why I don't need to change to clouds every panel.

Re: We Are Yorick
There is enough reason. Looking at almost the exact same panel eleven times does not exactly make for an experience.
There is no feel of time passing, no feel of motion, action or interaction and absolutely no immersion.
If you try really hard to imagine it as sequential depiction of time passing, it looks like these people are just standing there and different people randomly teleport in and out of existence in front of them.
The first strips are what people get to know your comic from. They don't have to be perfect, as almost every webcomic improves and gets better artistically and also in story telling over time, but if the first pages don't manage to engage the audience, they won't be around anymore to look at the supposedly better pieces to come out later.
