    This is the Character thread for Naruto ITP Reboot. Please post any characters here. If you need translations for your techniques (i.e. Japanese translations) PM Kasanip to see if she will help... but please don't overwork her to death!

    Appearance: Mifune Akira is a lanky and tall individual that towers over most other people he meets. Typically dressing in plain clothing, Akira is well known for his flair for the dramatic, wearing lavish and brightly colored outfits of greens and iridescent hues when in public in an attempt to discourage having to be forced to do so at later events. He wears his hair long and often braided though allows his bangs to fall freely into his face. While most often content to remain guarding Takamori Ara at his private castle, Akira is never seen outside the Clan Head’s chamber without his headband worn over his left eye, its village insignia cut through like many Missing-Nin. His right eye is said to be emerald green though few are able to look him in the eye without craning their neck.

    Bloodline: Cho- Mifune Akira is a descendent of the Takamori Clan and displays the Cho Bloodline. His mark is on his left eye, rending it sightless, this information known only to Takamori Ara.


    Notable Jutsu


    Flying Swallow Meets Earthly Lands
    A variation off Flying Swallow, Akira uses hisChakra Flow to feed chakra into his hands and feet. The ninja will increase the length and density of his physical attacks to strike an enemy from several feet out of the physical attacks range. This is accomplished by creating an invisible extension of chakra that shapes into an edge that functions like a blade.
    Seeing the physical attack, the opponent may misjudge how far they need to move to avoid an incoming strike and thereby still be cut even if they manage to avoid the bodily portion of the blade. The chakra-enhanced body parts are strong and sharp enough to strike through solid rock or cut through iron. This technique works best with elemental chakra, especially with wind chakra for offensive cutting power.

    Dipping Swallow Finds Roost
    A series of swift movements followed by four swift attacks marks Dipping Swallow Finds Roost as one of Akira’s most devastating attacks. While on the surface the movements appear physical, in truth Akira uses swift bursts of air to propel him forward at jarring speeds while using the momentum built up to aid his strikes.

    Whirlwind Strike
    By forming a swirling votex of chakra around his arm, Akira can strike out against foes and channeling the raging storm into their body, spinning them around with the force of the blow.

    Wind Release: Vacuum Sphere
    The user takes a deep breath and then exhales several small blasts of wind chakra in such a manner that they are dispersed over an expansive range, enough to make it difficult to avoid them entirely without taking any damage. Due to the properties of this technique, the expelled blasts are capable of piercing into and potentially through an opponent's flesh when they collide, in a similar manner to how bullets function.

    Wind Release: Vacuum Great Sphere
    A stronger version of the Wind Release: Vacuum Sphere technique, where the user instead chooses to compress the entirety of the previously inhaled breath into a single large, crushing sphere of wind chakra that they then proceed to expel from their mouth.

    Wind Release: Wind Shear
    Akira can create a shield of wind that blocks incoming physical projectiles. It seems that although this is a ninjutsu there is a seal for it much like an Explosive Tag he has etched somewhere on his body for quick use in case of danger.

    Wind Release: Bullet Storm
    Akira lifts a hand, calling forth wind chakra from himself and the air around him to creatve a swirling orb at the tip of his pointed finger. He can release this orb as if a projectile where it explodes into hundreds of whirling air balls with enough force to pass through metal unaffected.


    Special Abilities


    Alchemy: Akira is an accomplished producer of poisons, medicinal salves and pills and other more esoteric items.

    Accomplished Martial Artist: Outside his Taijutsu techniques, Akira is known as an accomplished Martial Artist with knowledge of a variety of martial arts styles from across the Ninja World.

    Summon Contract: Akira holds a summon contract with the Hedgehog Family.

    Astrology: Akira has an uncanny ability to predict coming events by the use of star charts and careful study. He cannot preform these abilities without his star charts and ample silence and time.

    Ninja Skills

    Genjutsu: Despite his personality, oddly Akira’s weakest school. He appears capable of using some though they seem mostly basic.

    Taijutsu: Akira is an accomplished hand to hand fighter though he seems to swear off manufactured weapons in lieu of his own hands and feet. His long legs and arms aid his combat abilities by providing a great deal of reach and he is fairly agile.

    Ninjutsu: Another of Akira’s strong suits, his ninjutsu are fairly well practiced and though rarely seen said to be particularly potent.

    Element: Wind


    Little is known of Mifune Akira’s life before he arrived in the Hot Springs Country, already a Missing-Nin long before he was called to the Takamori Main house after it was discovered he possessed the Cho Bloodline. Despite the unusual lack of information about him, he swiftly rose to the highest ranks of the family despite his perceived common birth. He now serves as the right hand of Takamori Ara, acting as his advisor in most matters. Despite his standing, he is afforded a fair level of command by the leader of the Clan due to the lack of knowledge and youth of Takamori Ara.

    Outside of his past, Akira is widely known as a friendly and amiable sort who does his level best to keep the moral of his new family high. Despite this, it is well known failing a mission is greatly frowned upon and Akira is fond of swift and lasting punishment to remind and encourage better performances at later dates. A level grin accompanies almost all comments he makes, his one good eye scanning the room for even the smallest detail. He seems to delight in antics that annoy or confound the other noble members of the Cho Bloodline and the Marked alike, trapping them in logic puzzles or outwitting them in public to further humiliate them. Under the façade of a rough and uncouth Missing-Nin, Akira remains a tactical and cunning mind ready and willing to use what ever force is required to accomplish what ever goals he seems to harbor.

    Between all of this, Akira is viewed by most of the Marked as the head of the organization, acting out what ever fancy his master desires should he desire it. Otherwise he operates and uses the Marked and the organization that makes up the lesser branches on his will though uses the pretense of his position to get away with such startling acts of what might very well be seen as betrayal. Despite the honors and trust heaped upon him, many of those who hold the Cho bloodline see him as a threat to the purity of the family and an outsider well outliving his welcome.

    Shinobu tends to wear a crimson kimono and hakama tied with a black obi, with a heavy woolen, thigh-lenght white haori on top. She keeps her long, white-and-grey hair wrapped in a tight bun, with a black copper comb as an ornament. She's usually seen wearing a pearl necklace of 108 pearls - whether all are real pearls is anyone's guess. Among them hangs a small, silver mirror.

    Time has been kind to her - she's avoided accumulating wrinkles or scars on her face, though she still tends to use heavy white make-up to hide away any discolorations (her actual skintone is yellowish-brown). Combined with black eye shadow and eyeliner, you can tell she was quite a looker... maybe twenty, thirty years ago. She doesn't look young by any means - just ageless, in sense a well-crafted statue might be.

    Of course, the impression is often ruined by the draconic frown sour as a basketful of grapes she often has adorning her face. Deep brown, almost black eyes observe their surroundings through narrowed eyelids, giving impression of an old, angry fox. Shinobu usually has a black, oak walking stick with a brass knob with her. Not because she needs it, her back is still healthy and straight, she just likes hitting snooty youngsters with it. The stick also hides a straight, narrow double-edged short sword, the knob being its handle.

    Shinobu is observant, collected and scheming. She can keep herself unnoticed and unassuming for a long while, just listening to a conversation, before suddenly revealing she's been following the whole time and telling her own opinions and conclusions based on it. Face to face, she's easy to deal with, often waiting patiently for you to make your case before telling her judgement. You can almost fool yourself to thinking she's a kind old lady.

    Unfortunately, she has exactly two voices. One is low, melodious whispering, faint but clear in meaning and sound. Sadly, it's not very audible in noisy situations. For those, she uses the other one, which is a raspy, god-awful cawing which is about as fun to listen to as claws scratching a chalkboard. (Think of this rooster.) She also has a growing mean streak, and often disregards politeness in favor getting straight to the point ("I'm old, I can say whatever I want to!"). This is much more obvious and jarring when she's using her "outdoor voice".

    Shinobu doesn't take kindly to those who disregard authority or act before thinking. Of course, a good reason can excuse much, but if you don't have one, may gods help you.

    Finally, Shinobu likes apples. She doesn't like people who try to steal them from her garden. This is something every young Chasm ninja should keep in mind.

    The clan Shinobu heads, the Fujiwara, are masters of scouting and stealth. Five decades ago, they had near-monopoly over Chasm special operations, thus being privy to sensitive information of other clans and often calling the shots what came to village strategy and goals. This did not sit well with Genda, close-combat specialists of the village; as their lives were often most affected by machinations of Fujiwara, they eventually started demanding greater say and transparency over long-term planning and goals of Chasm. While hesitant at first, Fujiwara realized refusing their offers would strike a wedge between the two clans, compromising integrity of their village. As war was just around the corner, both sides proposed arranged marriage to strenghten and merge the two clans. So, when they were just 8 years of age, it was agreed son of Genda clan chief, Fudou, and daughter and sole child of the Fujiwara clan chief, Shinobu, would be married to each other.

    This union made several, lesser rivals drop their intentions of mutiny, and created a solid foundation for the workings of Chasm for years to come. However, as the war raged on and reduced numbers of both clans, their prominence diminished - while members of both clans still hold important positions of power, during recent peace they've mingled and mixed with a variety of other families, somewhat reducing importance of blood ties among the village populace and leadership. Membership of any one clan is less important than invidual prowess and loyalty to Chasm is.

    Shinobu's own role in this development was subtle yet significant - she holds perhaps the longest record of completed missions out of anyone in the village, and earned trust of many of her fellows on them. As primary successor of Fujiwara, she became acquianted with Special Operations early on, and assumed their leadership in her twenties. Her skill with the bow lead her to be hired for several high-priority assassinations in distant lands, while her skill with observation and disguise made her a favorite for covert espionage missions - diplomatic knowledge and experience she garnered during the latter lead to her becoming a candidate for advisor Jounin and eventually Chasm leader. During her time in the village leadership, she's reviewed several old traditions and slowly altered them to better fit changing times, as well as worked to open up Spec Op organization and techniques to clans beside Fujiwara. Not because she isn't leery of other clans, but rather because she doesn't trust her own much more either.

    Despite her role as Fujiwara matriarch, Shinobu does not hold her family in special regard. She considers them people she was beholden to in her youth, and isn't anymore. She does not keep much contact to her extended family outside professional matters, and sometimes seems to go out of her way to not favor her own descendants in any manner. Her attitude towards her nominal husband is that of indifference as well - best evidenced by the fact that she lives alone, and that they both retain their original family names. In formal occasions, she acts toward him like she acts towards all other ninja.

    Shinobu has five children; it's very questionable whether all of them are Fudo's. She had first two at ages of 16 and 17, but had little to do with their raising beyond nursing them. Her training in her clan's arts took priority, and her eldest kids were mostly left in care of her mother-in-law. Shinobu largely considered her obligation to Genda over and done with at that point, and generally kept loose contact her spouse after that. She did not consider having more kids for a long while after that, if she ever did - next two were born when she was X and Y. She was slightly more present in their lives, though still distant as her active role on the field took her away from home for months to an end. She got pregnant for the last time at Z, much to the surprise of herself and everyone else, but decided to keep him/her anyway. Her youngest is the only one she's had any real time for, as her role as leader of the village has mostly kept her within its limits.


    Bloodline: No such thing. The best you could hope to have inherited from her is bad temper.

    Arrows of Unerring Path: When she was young, Shinobu was known and feared as perhaps the best practitioner of kyujutsu - that is, archery - in Shinobi world. Even these days, giving her a bow and arrows makes her a lethal threat - not that it's certain she needs either a bow or an arrow. Stories abound of burglars and apple-thieves who were struck by an invisible force out of the blue, and no flying creatures are ever seen near her house. Repudetly she could shoot a single leaf off a tree from a mile away, though it has been some time she's demonstrated such skill.

    • Kyujutsu: Shadow Arrow TechniqueThis Jutsu involves firing two arrows in rapid succession at nearly the same trajectory, making it look to the target as if there's just one arrow coming when in reality there are two, creating a feint. Obviously only the target is fooled, as the illusion works only from a specific angle of viewing.
    • Fuuton: Straight Arrow Technique: This jutsu imbues an arrow with wind chakra, cutting a trail of vacuum just before the missile as it flies through the air. Because of this, the arrow is not slowed down or affected by weather conditions, following a straight trajectory and hitting the target with undiminished force. It also creates much deeper wounds than usual, as the blade of wind chakra bites into armor or flesh first, and the arrow second. This technique also makes it possible to fire arrows from water to air or from air to water, as it creates a cavitation bubble that allows for the arrow to travel as through air.
    • Invisible Bow, Invisible Arrow: This Jutsu uses the same motions as pulling back bowstring and arrow would, just without either item being present. Yet, it still fires a projectile just like using a real bow would. How this Jutsu works is known only to Shinobu herself, and maybe not even her.

      Its secret is shape transformation, which is also the reason it can be used without handseals. It effectively creates bow and arrow of nothing but Chakra, and is invisible just like normal Chakra is. Abilities that give color to Chakra can reveal faint shape of the bow and arrow.
    • Katon: Death of the Three-legged Crow: Shinobu's less seen but most impressive technique, it imbues an arrow with intense amount of Katon Chakra. Once it is shot, it turns into the shape of a three-legged, flaming bird, which seeks out its target and explodes in a tremendous conflagration. The bird leaves behind a thick trail of black smoke, potentially hiding the sun from sight and creating an area of twilight or darkness.
    • Suiton: Black Rain: Meant to use immediatly after Death of the Three-legged Crow, it causes moisture to condense within impurities of the black smoke, creating an artificial raincloud which rains black, ashen rain over a wide area. It can be used in conjuction with other smoke as well. It's utility is wide, ranging from putting out fires to hindering enemy soldiers or clearing the air so Shinobu can have clean aim again. The water of the drops is mildly noxious and alkaline - not enough to burn skin, but it can ruin equipment and rations.


    Mirror of Baleful Thoughts: Shinobu never garnered much attention for offensive uses of Genjutsu, but in Chasm she's the authority in what comes to defending from them. Her most famous technique is the Mirror, rumoured to have something to do with the necklace she wears. The Mirror not only warns the user that she's about to be hit by a Genjutsu and gives her a chance to dispel it, it also allows for turning the Genjutsu against its original user.

    Oiroke no Jutsu: It was useful in her past... was. You better not think about it too much, let alone mention it, if you value you life and sanity.

    Ninjutsu: Shinobu's opinion is that the basics, movement, deception and disguise, are the most important to a ninja. As such, she's very, very good in them. She can reputedly use Henge without handseals at all, and has been known to switch places with other, conscious people with Kawarimi. As a chasm kunoichi, she'd also have to be dead to let even sheerest cliffs to slow her down.

    Genjutsu: Rarely, if ever, used outside of the Mirror. Shinobu is legendarily hard to catch with one, though.

    Taijutsu: Shinobu is a small, old woman, and small old women have a history of not being all that strong. You'd be foolish to underestimate her, though - she's extremely nimble and a mean wrestler. She rarely uses punches, kicks or other hand techniques, instead relying on her well-honed reflexes to deflect and redirect force of potential offenders.

    Acute senses: "I heard that!"

    Shinobu has keen eyes, excellent hearing, and claims she can detect and identify ten thousand different poisons and toxins by scent and taste. (Overlap between her claim that she can also detect and identify ten thousand different flowers is not known.) It's not uncommon for people to say she has eyes in her back or that she can read thoughts. These are hopefully just rumours... hopefully.

    Agile: "I can get there on my own, thank you very much. Arthritis is for suckers."

    In her youth, Shinobu was remarked for her speed, nimbleness and ability to squirm out of almost any bindings or to find a way in through the smallest of cracks. Age has not diminished this nearly as much as you'd think, and she can still move and climb everywhere in the difficult terrain of her home village without slightest help. She only has to mind her left knee, that got broken and had to be fixed several times in her youth.

    Arrow Trickery: Shinobu is not above affixing explosive tags, smoke bombs, flashbangs, poisons or various chemicals to her arrows. Some of these can be used directly augment her other Jutsus. For example, added lye will make Black Rain notably more alkaline and thus dangerous to living beings, while certain herbs and substances can make smoke of Death of the Three-legged Crow more nauseating and noxious, or even hallucinatory. Needless to say, when Shinobu dons her fighting gear, it includes a wide assortment of these items.


    Matsuyama Kazuma, Special Jounin of Takumi

    Kazuma's build is on the springy side, though to notice it you'd have to peel away several layers clothing, armor and hidden weaponry. In his usual attire, he looks about twice as broad as he actually is, and combined with his height it grants him a rather intimidating stature. Of course his fine and effeminate face, beaming with oblivious innocence and making him look younger than he actually is, very effectively spoils the effect - when he's remembered to shave and doesn't have dark shades under his eyes, that is. Kazuma nearly always wears a pair of angular eyeglasses.

    His topmost layer of clothing consists of thick camouflaged coat and trousers, the pattern alternating between green, darker green, white and brown. He commonly carries an utility belt to hold extra scrolls as well. For some unfathomable reason, he finishes this outfit with a strawhat and beach sandals. He wears his forehead protectors over the hat. Additionally, he's often seen carrying a large backpack or dragging a cart filled to brim with various merchandise.

    Kazuma looks and feels deceptively harmless. It's easy to dismiss him as a quirky young man whose mind just tends to wander a bit. He's hardworking and focused when it comes to his duties, even though he has a lazy streak and tends to sleep at strange times (he's pretty much nocturnal).

    However, a cautious observer might spot a feral glint in his eyes from time to time. He's much more perceptive and cunning than he usually lets on, and if you get to know him it's also apparent that he's a rat bastard. He tends for spitefulness and cruelty, and would prolly make you miserable for fun and profit, as long as the profit is great enough. There's lots of ambition hidden in him, but towards what is anyone's guess

    Kazuma hails from Land of Rivers, and was trained in ninjutsu by Takumi. He's an artificer, and very skilled at that - courtesy of his village's position as weapon merchants, great many pieces of equipment originate from or pass through his hands, and even more owe to his design. He moves around a lot, often serving as a messenger or informant in addition to his job as a salesman, quite commonly to several sides at once. His allegiances are very mutable and easily influenced by money or other offerings.

    Kazuma has extensive connections to criminal underworld of the Shinobi world. Some rumors abound that not too long ago, Kazuma was involved with a criminal organization who attempted a coup against Konohagakure in Land of Fire. Unfortunately for them, he also served as a double-agent for the now-late Hokage. It's not known how much he contributed to it in the end, but the coup was ultimately a failure and Kazuma escaped with nary a scratch, and with spoils to boot.


    Bloodline: Only thing Kazuma can attribute to his family line is his bad eyesight.

    Chakra strings: A jutsu that conjures barely visible threads from the users fingertips, it can be used to trip, hamper or fool an enemy, quickly fetch an object, as well as controlling ninja puppets. While not his specialty, Kazuma is moderately skilled at puppeteering, though he can only control single puppet at once.

    Fuuinjutsu: Kazuma is an expert in sealing and summoning objects. Interior of his coat and most of his pockets are lined with sealing runes, allowing him to rapidly summon all sorts of equipment as short notice (See the list below). Specific techniques involving this skill are:

    • Human Summon Pact: Kazuma can make contracts between himself and other people that allows either party to be summoned by the other. The contract is sealed in a scroll, signed with blood by both parties. The scroll includes the summon pattern, which is activated by a drop of blood and usage of Summon Technique (Kuchiyose no Jutsu).
    • Wolf Summon Pact: Kazuma also has a contract with Wolf animal clan, and can summon its members at will. Wolves are intelligent, alert and highly aggressive creatures, useful for a wide variety of tasks. They excell in tracking and fighting in large groups.
    • Primary Element Seal (Ichijigodai Fuuinshiki): a technique originally meant for disabling captured prisoners. It cuts a person's connection to their primary element, preventing them from using Jutsu associated with it.
    • Hypnotic tags: in place of more traditional methods, Kazuma utilizes Genjutsu in the form of Chakra-infused paper tags, similar to eplosive tags but green and white in color. Viewing these tags with naked eyes triggers the effect. Below are invidual effects:
      • Empty Mind Charm: based on a meditative mandala, this tag forcibly clears mind of one viewing it from all other thoughts. This can be used to achieve Zen state of total awareness, but an unprepared victim is often left dumbfounded and staring at the tag until something removes it from sight or they collapse from fatigue.
      • Wandering Eyes Charm: viewing this charm makes the victim subconsciously aim blind spots of their eyes at it, causing whatever it's placed on flicker in and out of sight as the victim is unable to focus on it. A particularly dim victim might even dismiss the tag and its surroundings completely, as if they were invisible.
      • Moldable Will Charm: viewing this charm puts the victim into a highly succestible state. Alone, this is of little consequence, but another person can easily convince them to obey orders they otherwise wouldn't, make them forget some detail or insert false ones. Effects of this tag wear off fairly rapidly, and are easy to spot, even to the victim herself once she snaps out of it.
      • Lunacy Charm: fills the one viewing it with irrational aggression and bloodthirst. Its effects are greatest under actual full moon.
      • Freezing Heart Charm: nastiest tag in Kazuma's repertoire, this sends a fairly simple, subliminal command to all living thigs: die. It causes a sudden system shock that can place a living creature in a death-like trance unless someone snaps them out of it. A sharp victim who quickly closes her eyes can usually escape with just a scare. Ironically, it's very rare for anyone to actually die from the charm, but it's possible for people with weak hearts.

    Ninjutsu: Besides those noted above, Kazuma is adept in basic transformation, clone and movement Jutsus. He can walk on water or walls and can perform Henge with only one hand if necessary.

    Genjutsu:
    Kazuma knows several more genjutsu that cause disorientation or nausea, but like ones noted noted above, he often uses them in form of Hypnotic tags. He's moderately skilled in noticing and dispelling illusions.

    Taijutsu: while not expectionally fast or strong, Kazuma has great endurance and flexibility, with a tendency to outlast his enemies when he can't outpower them. He has well-rounded combat style that can be summarized in the phrase "anything goes". it's also rare to meet him without him being armed to the teeth and more; he utilizes astounding array of weaponry, ranging from shuriken and kunai to swords and bows, and is reasonably adept with all of them.

    Master craftsman: "Where do they get those nifty toys, you ask? Why, they get them from me!"

    Kazuma is a tinkerer at heart and good in metalworking, sewing, woodcrafting, chemistry and a few other things. Given enough resources, there's hardly any ninja tool he can't make. He can also use his skills to jury-rig traps and alarm systems, as well as disarm them.

    Human workhorse:
    "Take a horse? No thanks, I enjoy walking. What, you were talking about the cart? I was talking about the cart too!"

    Kazuma has ridiculous endurance. He can keep on pushing himself after many others would've keeled over in exhaustion, and recovers with impressive rate. He also eats like a horse - when not having a proper meal, he's likely having snacks. Offering him a lunch is begging for bankruptcy.

    Walking armory:
    Even compared to ordinary ninja, Kazuma tends to lug around stunning amount of hidden weapons and gadgets, many sealed within his coat with special fuuinjutsu. Stuff he routinely carries include:

    • telescopic metal spear with a detachable tip, 7 foot long when extended
    • katana and a wakizashi
    • a dismantleable crossbow with detachable scope, and 50 bolts. Has effective range of 300 feet.
    • lots and lots of shuriken
    • three long knives
    • telescopic blowpipe and dozen poisoned darts in a metal container
    • several dozen smokebombs, producing differently colored smokes. Five are tagged toxic.
    • dozen flash bombs
    • 120 feet of razor wire
    • 120 feet of composite rope
    • ten hypnotic tags of various qualities
    • twenty explosive tags. Five are tagged 'extra blasty', and other five 'extra fiery'.
    • spare parts, wrenches, screwdrives and a hammer for adjusting his Puppet Duplicate
    • binoculars
    • night vision goggles, with corrective and magnifying lenses
    • a gas mask combined with a snorkel and corrective lenses
    • spare glasses
    • six energy pills, increasing strenght and chakra levels temporarily while erasing fatigue. Cause intense muscle cramps after ~6 hours or so of use.
    • face paint
    • stainless steel cutlery
    • a bottle of water
    • flippers
    • a firstaid kit, complete with everything necessary to make a field blood transfusion


    In addition, Kazuma's clothes are nonconductive, water and fireproof. His coat and trousers have light, rattan-like material woven within the fabrics, providing protection equal to a chainmail while hampering his movements little. If he has a backpack with him, he might sneak some spare clothes and rations on top of it all. If he has the cart, he just *might* have a working cannon with him.

    Puppet duplicate:
    "Thank you for breaking my toy. Now I'll have to see if I can make spare parts from your bones."

    A past-time project of his, Kazuma has build himself a stunt double from the chassis of a ninja puppet. While it's face is blank, it's dressed in similar clothes as its master and is about the same size, so it can pass off as him at a distance.

    In addition to serving as a mannequin and rack for back-up equipment, the puppet is very strong and fast, can launch poison darts from its mouth and can be equipped with a sword or other melee weapon. Rattling and whirring it makes causes it to be very unstealthy, though. Its machinery can also be jammed by foreign objects or sudden changes in temperature.

    Badly nearsighted: "Where my glasses at? I wasn't figurative when I said I'd be blind as a bat. Give back my glasses!"

    Kazuma can't see clearly beyond his nose without glasses. Though the lenses are unlikely to break, being custom made from reinforced glass, the rims can snap or twist, and he can easily lose them in heated close combat. Without some form of vision correction his ability in ranged combat is greatly impaired. As a thin silver line in a dark cloud, Kazuma can't be affected by his own hypnotic tags or effects reliant on line of sight without his glasses on.


    Nibi - the two-tailed monster cat

    On its own, the Nibi is a humongous Nekomata wreathed in unholy blue flames. Tales tell it could shrink to size of a mouse, or grow to dwarf the greatest elephant on its own whim. Allegedly even standing close to it was painful due to heat, and it could cause fires that would burn down whole cities by just running through them.

    Personality-wise, it's a big, fat, lazy cat. It's arrogant to a fault, thinking itself the most sublime being ever and likes to bask in its own magnificence. It loves to have someone defer to or worship it, to metaphorically scrub its belly and offer it food. This may be why it likes its hosts meek personality - the other reason is that it was reduced to a kitten-like state when it was sealed within her, and thinks of her as a vaguely maternal figure.

    The Nibi also likes tormenting mice *), batting them between its paws, watching them run around in terror with nowhere to escape, before slaying and eating such morsels - fear and futile hope give meat such a tasty flavor!

    It hates its host's violent persona with a passion, however; maybe because it sees her as competition, or doesn't like to be subjected to the kind of cruelty it itself enjoys subjecting its victims to.

If you get past that, you may notice that her petite frame is lithe and wiry, and likely packing a lot of power. She tends to wear a black dress, that splits at the waist into two portions covering her front and back, leaving her free to move. A pouch of ninja tools lies at her waist

    Kimika tends to act sweet, but anyone who has spent time with her knows that she's utterly ruthless. Nonetheless, she does place a high priority on the lives of her friends.

    In her free time, Kimika is generally found either practicing or relaxing. The latter tends to involve either swimming, or drinking. Occasionally both.

    Both Kimika and her parents came to the Land of Chasms as refugees, fleeing from Kirigakure. Although their fighting style was not a true kekkei genkai, it was irrelevent in the eyes of the country. Ostracised, the family searched for a village that would take them in. Mindful of treachery, the four great villages refused, but the three found a home in the Village of Chasms.

    For two years, they began to settle into the village. Kimika was entered into the genin program, her parents taking the position as Tokubetsu Jonin. But two years, almost to the day of her arrival, her parents were killed, and her parents slain in a destructive battle that levelled their home. Several days later, she was seen wearing the headband of a tokubetsu jonin, and her apparent skills were massively greater. Since then, she's performed several high rank missions. She is yet to be trusted with a genin team, assuming she ever will be.

    Anyone can tell Kimika is hiding something. What is anyone's guess, as she ain't telling.

    Bloodline: No actual Kekkei Genkai, but has use of the Daibakuhaken fighting style. Detailed in Special Abilities.

    Suiton: Teppōdama (Obviously on a much smaller scale.
    Fūton: Hanachiri Mai (Highly competent. Her primary ranged ninjutsu.)
    Hana Bunshin No Jutsu (Trans-Flower Clone): A variation on the clone technique, this technique forms a clone out of petals. It is earth aligned, and weak to Lightning techniques. More importantly, it is the component for her strongest ninjutsu. Like most clone techniques more advanced than the standard, it is highly chakra intensive.
    Kahenkumo Bakuha (Trans-Exploding Petal Cloud): The user expells a cloud of pink petals in front of him. A short time later, each explodes with the force of an explosive tag. Devestating against civilians, crowds, or weaker ninja, but easily avoided by more powerful ninja.
    Kahenkumo Daibakuha (Trans-Great Exploding Petal Cloud): Used in conjunction with a Hana Bunshin, this technique converts the clone into a cloud of petals, sends them flying outwards, and detonates them. Even more powerful than the previous, this is a highly draining technique. Best used by having the clone grapple the target before exploding, giving them mere moments to escape.
    Fuinjutsu: Bakuyaku Hana Bunshin (Trans-Sealing Technique: Explosive Flower Clone) A tattooed seal on her shoulder, an application of chakra to that point pushes Kimika far away, as if she used the Shunshin, while leaving a Hana Bunshin in its place. This is an absolute last resort, as the chakra use is greater even than a normal Hana Bunshin. Nonetheless, it's normally effective at utterly desolating the area.

    Genjutsu: Very little. Can break most genjutsu, but isn't great at recognising them.

    Taijutsu: Skilled. Uses the Daibakuhaken style. This style revolves around massive buildups of chakra in the arms, and allows a single punch to easily demolish walls, or snap ribs and spines. However, due to it's chakra hungry nature, it cannot be used for protracted periods.

    Basic Jutsu: Kimika is competent at the Shunshin, Bunshin, and various other styles, as well as both the Chasm and Mist taijutsu styles. She is truly amazing at the Henge. Her transformations are so complete that she can keep them when struck, or even when unconscious.

    Overall Fighting Style: Kimika is a devastating opponent. However, all of her attacks require massive amounts of chakra. An opponent who can dodge or survive will wear her down very quickly. She is a consummate assassin, and skilled at infiltration. Pitched battles are not her strong point-she has excellent reflexes, amazing attack power, but little to no stamina or defensive ability.

    Appearance: Kouhei is tall and slightly tanned. His hair is spiked and long, stopping at around his upper back. His eyes are of a dark brown color and look at people with a piercing gaze. Despite what his weight may suggest, it actually comes from all muscle. They are strong yet not particularly bulky for a man of his stature. He also has short, yet full facial hair.

    The most noticable feature on him however is the body sized tattoo all around him, although the tattoo doesn't go past his waist or lower neck. The tattoos themselves are just black ink, nothing more, nothing less. On closer inspection however, the tattoo is actually many different tattoos all linked together. The tattoo starts on the upper side of each of his hands in the shape of a large "O". In the center is a small dot. From there, a line connects it with eight other "O"s of slightly different design all the way up to his shoulders. The tattoo patterns of both arms are mirror images of each other. At his shoulder, the last "O" connects to a much larger tattoo on his chest and back. These tattoo's are much more detailed with many different curves all around them.

    On his stomach is another tattoo that spirals counter-clockwise around. On the top are three stubs that are sticking out from the spiral at the 10 o'clock, 12 o'clock, and 2 o'clock postions. These stubs look like they were suppose to be connected to the main tattoo, but were cut short. Similarly, the main chest tattoo curves down at three areas into points and stops just short of the three nubs of the spiral tattoo. Only about half an inch of plain skin separates each point of the tattoos from each other.

    Kouhei wears a long flowing robe of light brown that covers most of his tattoos. The only thing that is showing is the "O"s on his hands. Underneath he wears a set of large, slightly ripped gray pants that are tied around his waist with a black belt. Kouhei is often seen wearing a straw hat that he makes himself that obscures most of his facial features.

    Personality: Kouhei is often suspicious of strangers. But concerning his past, this is understandable. He has a great connection to nature and enjoys sitting for hours on a rock and listens to everything around him.

    Kouhei also has a very caring attitude to anyone or anything that is in trouble. Whenever he leaves a village, most often the villagers will be waving happily good-bye to him after all the help he's done for everyone. He often will try and help people who don't even know they have a problem, often forcing them out of their comfort zone so they can experience why they are wrong. Although, he will ultimately let them decide for it on their own.

    Kouhei acts as a wise mentor to people, trying to make them better in heart and spirit. Yet he also is constantly on guard wherever he goes. He avoids all major cities and never stays anywhere for more then three days except under dire circumstances.

    History: Kouhei's past is a troubled one. When he was two, a great earthquake devastated his ninja village. Coincidently, after a few hours of the earthquake, the Three-Tailed Beast happened to be passing by the village. Many people blamed the creature as the cause of the earthquakes and wanted to capture it for various reasons. Kouhei's clan was the one with the fewest injured, so it went out to try and capture the creature with the clan's ink based jutsu. However, their early attempts were unsuccessful. At first, the beast didn't seem to mind what the ninja were doing. But it quickly realized that the ninja were in fact a threat and then began to defend itself, injuring member's of Kouhei's clan. Finally, in desperation, the clan decided to seal the beast inside a human. They succeed and the Three-Tailed Beast was sealed inside Kouhei with the spiral seal on his stomach.

    Several years pass and the village managed to rebuild itself. Kouhei's life was rather lonely during his childhood. Many people avoided him since the result of the earthquake was still in their mind and they still blamed the creature for causing it. Instead, Kouhei managed to talk to the Sanbi inside him. He became awed at how mellow and kind the creature actually was and figured out quickly that it couldn't cause the earthquake, but he knew no one would believe him. So he accepted the isolation and talked to his only real friend he had, the Three-Tailed Beast. Unknown to him, the village's elite ninja were studying him under order of the village leader. After many studies, it was determined that the Three-tailed beast did not cause the earthquake and it was pure chance that it happened to be passing by the village in the first place. This information was not given out to the public because the leader thought that no one would be ready to hear such news and would immediately disbelieve it. But the information allowed the village leader to allow Kouhei to become a ninja.

    Kouhei took to training very well. His clan had taught him the secrets of the ink based jutsu. However, he also seemed to enjoy Taijutsu very much as well, although this could have been the Three-Tails physical qualities leaking through. Kouhei eventually grew tired of people constantly staring at the swirl on his stomach and decided to create the tattoos that covered his body. He infused the ink with his own chakra so as to allow chakra to flow through it freely. He was able to use the tattoos to increase his combat ability greatly.

    Then the village leader died suddenly and mysteriously. His successor was a cold, ruthless man who wanted to spread his ideals to even the 5 great nations. Kouhei after disagreed with the man's approach to things, but followed his orders none-the-less. However, the new leader was nervous that Kouhei would turn on him eventually and secretly order his clan elders to begin preparations to extract the beast from Kouhei for the leaders own use. When the clan elders told him that the result could kill Kouhei, the leader became more convinced on doing it as a way of killing two bird with one stone. Fortunately, Kouhei managed to overhear most of the conversation.

    Several months pass and the preparations were complete. The clan invited him under false pretenses to begin the extraction. Kouhei went willingly, knowing what was about to happen, and then fought against them suddenly. The next morning, Kouhei woke a great distance away from his village with little memory of what had happened after he tried to escape. It wasn't until that night that the Three-Tailed Beast told him that it had helped him in his escape. Knowing that he was now a missing-nin of his village, he continued to flee.

    After a couple weeks, he began to see wanted posters of him around everywhere for his capture at the price of 75,000,000 ryo. He quickly began to do everything in his power to change what he looked like, including wearing a long flowing robe, growing facial hair, wearing straw hats, etc. However, his attempts at disguise weren't always fool proof and he would always be found by bouty hunters one way or another. But one group of bounty hunters were especially tough and Kouhei woke up the next morning finding all of them dead with no memory of half of the fight. When the Sanbi spoke to him again, Kouhei decided he needed to work out a symbiotic relationship to the beast inside him.

    While unable to remove the seal on him, he was able to alter it somewhat and allow a greater flow of chakra from the beast into his body. He then altered his tattoos to reflect the altering of the seal.

    Currently, Kouhei is traveling between the outskirts of other nations and staying away from any large village.

    Bloodline: Kouhei has inherited his clan's gift at using ink based justu's.

    Notable Jutsu: Kouhei uses ink based jutsu's that are unique from most other types of jutsu's.
    • Great Seal: The seal on Kouhei's stomach is what is currently sealing the Three-Tailed Beast inside of him. After a little tampering, Kouhei has made it slightly easier to allow chakra to leak through the seal.
    • Ink manipulation: Kouhei is able to move ink around without touching it. He can use this to forge documents and use it at a distance for various other activities.
    • Man-Beast Seal Release: Kouhei managed to set it up so as to temporarily reverse the seal's effect, but it will reactivate normally after a short amount of time.


    Special Abilities:
    • Kouhei is the host to the Three-Tailed Beast.
    • Kouhei is able to create ink within his body from what he eats and then stores it for later use.
    • Kouhei is a expert with Taijutsu. Using the combination of his ink based jutsu's, he has infused the tattoo's around his body with his chakra. This has allowed a secondary chakra like network which he can distribute his chakra throughout his body. He has developed a unique style of fighting with this result.

      The Ten Marks are ten stages of his fighting. As he unlocks a "mark", the "O"s around his arms will glow blue with chakra in response. For example, if he activates the first mark, the "O"s on the top of his hands will glow blue and give him extra ability as a result from the chakra. If he were to increase it to the third mark, the glow on both arms will extend up to the third "O" and he will have all three "O"s glowing with chakra. However, the higher the mark, the faster it drains his chakra. The Ten Marks are as follows and grant him each ability listed and strengthens the abilites the previous marks had granted him.
      • Mark 1: This mark grants Kouhei enhanced speed.
      • Mark 2: This mark grants Kouhei enhanced strength.
      • Mark 3: This mark grants Kouhei enhanced stamina.
      • Mark 4: This mark increases Kouhei's reaction time to movements and attacks that the enemy might do.
      • Mark 5: This Mark is used just to increase the effects of the 4 previous Marks.
      • Mark 6: This Mark speeds up the healing rate of injuries that Kouhei takes. However, it doesn't stop poison and too much use of this ability could shorten Kouhei's lifespan.
      • Mark 7: This Mark fortifies the strength of his skin, making it as hard as rock.
      • Mark 8: This Mark causes huge amounts of chakra flowing though Kouhei's body. He is able tor release some of it in short bursts that can be used to push things back.
      • Mark 9: This Mark is the final Mark the lights up on his arms and it's located on his shoulders. It is used to increase the abilites of the 8 previous Marks.
      • Mark 10: This is the final Mark. When activated, the tattoos on both his chest and back will glow with the chakra running though him. Kouhei's eyes will even glow blue with Chakra. This results in a massive amount of chakra being released from his body in a surrounding aura that shields him from most attacks and in addition to total enhancement of the previous mark abilites. However, Kouhei cannot stay in this stance for very long and will always leave him exhasted when he releases himself from this mark. He may merge himself to the Bijuu's chakra and run it's chakra through him instead. However, the strain on his body is not lessened at all and it only grants a longer activation period.

      Negative side effects from using the Marks
      • Mark 1, 2, & 3: Kouhei has conditioned himself to use these Marks without any negative feedback.
      • Mark 4: Kouhei can use this mark without negative feedback for atleast ten minutes. Afterwards, he starts getting tired.
      • Mark 5: Kouhei can use this mark for less than a minute without negative feedback. Afterwards he starts getting tired. If he continiues to use this mark for a while longer, his muscles and joints will start to ache.
      • Mark 6: Kouhei will start feeling tired almost instantly after this mark. He will not show his exhastion until either 5 minutes pass or he drops down to a lower mark from his increased stamina.
      • Mark 7: Kouhei will tire faster in this Mark. In addition, after three minutes of constantly using this mark, his insides will start to give out. Minor internal bleeding as well as coughing up some blood will be a result.
      • Mark 8: Kouhei can use this for 1 minute before more serious effects from Mark 7 start to affect him.
      • Mark 9: Kouhei's muscles and bones will start to break from the increadible speed and chakra pressure they are under while in this Mark. His enhanched healing ability will repair these right away, but they will exhaust Kouhei more quickly.
      • Mark 10: Kouhei's entire body is under alot of pressure from the rapid amount of chakra. After fifteen seconds, coughing up blood will result. After thirty seconds, Kouhei will pass out from the sudden depletion of chakra.
      • Bijuu Mark: Kouhei will experience the same effects using the bijuu's chakra during the tenth mark. However, the side effects will be delayed to coughing up blood after 45 seconds and passing out after 1 minute and thirty seconds.
    • Seal Mergence: If Kouhei is nearly out of chakra, he will merge the stubs of the seal to connect to the chest chakra. This will result in the Three-Tailed Beasts Chakra flowing though his tattoos instead. The Beasts chakra is orange and the tattoos and chakra being released will glow in resemblance to that color. The amount of chakra is so great that the tattoos are extended throughout his body.

    Appearance: Small and thin for his stature, Kitano of the Scrolls appears boyish to the casual observer, his hair long and braided with his face almost always hidden under a rice pickers hat. A sword dangles from his side though it seems the handle is broken off. He often dresses in monks robes and carries around a lantern topped staff where ever he goes.

    Bloodline: None

    Notable Jutsu:

    The Lantern Scroll Jutsu
    The Lantern Scroll Jutsu is in fact separate Jutsu all tied to the use of Kitano’s genjutsu, creating an illusionary forest of Cochin lanterns that hang about him that move as if in a slight breeze. Each use of a jutsu listed below uses up one of the lanterns itself. There are typically fifteen lanterns in the “forest”. The Lantern Scroll Jutsu is fairly easy to complete, Kitano able to utilize it with only a single hand.

    Red Light, Green Light no Jutsu: The hanging lanterns slowly gutter and die as Kitano calls “Off”, all movement in the area ceasing. Moving targets stop, though are not held. Anyone moving while caught in 20 yards of the Lantern’s are slashed by an invisible blade, including Kitano. Kitano can at any time call “On”, the lights of the lantern’s burning back to life. While the lanterns are lit, anyone can move freely. This power only affects people, animals and summons, not jutsu or other effects. The slashes on those who move are simple sword attacks, carrying little extra force behind them, and can be easily parried, though this will often produce another penalty.

    Flash Lantern No Jutsu: A Lantern hangs over an enemy’s head, its flame slowly guttering and dwindling down. A person may “hand” the lantern off to another through a physical strike or other form of physical contact. Doing so gives the flame a little more “life”. Once the flame is out, anyone caught with it becomes heavily inebriated, suffering the full effects of being well and truly drunk. Those drunk lose fine motor functions, growing dizzy and unable to stand upright without effort. Nausea and acute light sensitivity also plague the one affected by the drunken stupor. Kitano can be affected by this game.

    Pachinko No Jutsu: Kitano must stand dead still as the lantern’s slowly start to spin about him out to 25 yards. Opponents seeking to attack Takeshi must make their way through the spinning lanterns to attack him. All the while, the flames in the lanterns slowly start to die. If an opponent or opponents cannot reach Kitano before the lights go out, they are struck by a concussive force, and are teleported to the outer edge of the spinning lanterns. Anyone struck by one of the fast moving lanterns has lost the “Game” and is struck by a more powerful concussive force, powerful enough to bend metal and shatter stone. Losing ends the “Game”. This Jutsu uses up the entire forest of lanterns created by the Lantern Scroll Jutsu

    Eye Spy No Jutsu: Kitano creates an area of darkness where no senses exist, forcing all within it to suffer full sensory deprivation whilst in the darkness. The field is around six yards in length. An opponent can bypass this field by a strong will or by focusing on a sense or sensation so fully that the field cannot repress.

    Special Abilities:

    Poison Use: Kitano utilizes many varieties of poisons in his attacks, and seems to be immune to a great many of them.

    Summon Contract: Kitano of the Scrolls as a Summon Contract with the Hyena.

    Disguises: Kitano is wildly known as a master of disguise, even known for dressing as women to throw off his hunters.

    Genjutsu: Kitano’s greatest strength, a great many of his skills lie in Genjutsu

    Taijutsu: Kitano’s worst skill owing to his build and general interests, Kitano is less then passable in Taijutsu.

    Ninjutsu: A medium field for Kitano, though one he rarely focuses on.

    Kitano of the Scrolls was known as Takeshi Kitano, a Jounin of the Hidden Waterfall Village before defecting from the Village several years ago. While holding no bloodline or secret knowledge of the Waterfall himself outside his training and the defenses of the Village itself, he is viewed as one of the most dangerous individuals of the Village. Rumors persist that he fled the Village due to the Village Leaders demands he take a role more suited to his powers in the Village.

    Kitano of the Scrolls has been described as amiable and polite even to the Hunter-Nin sent to hunt him down and kill him, donating money to local Lesser Villages and playing games with Village Youths despite his occupation and status in the Ninja World. Kitano is reported to be a lover of heavy drink and drugs, well known in many of the Ninja World’s taverns.

    Zel Has short white hair that is somewhat untidy, and swept back. She has pale gray eyes and a slightly pointed face.

    She wears black boots, dark blue pants, and a white t-shirt. She has a white studded belt that is threaded through just one loop of her pants. And she also wears a black leather jacket, as well as gray half-gloves.

    The bottom of her boots have steel plates bolted to them. She uses these with her magnetic trait to move herself around, increasing her agility.

    Her pants and the front of her jacket have several large pockets on them. Most of these pockets hold steel spheres that are not much larger than a marble. She uses these spheres in conjunction with her ability to throw them at high speeds at her enemies.

    There is a large bladed ring strapped to the back of her jacket. It is silver in color, about three feet in diameter, and has both the inner and outer edges bladed. Like the spheres, she uses her ability to throw this at enemies.

    Zel is a usually laid back person, not showing a whole lot of worry about anything. There are certain things that can set her off. And when that happens, she can get both verbally and physically violent. She also tends to throw the first punch.

    She does find enjoyment in playing tricks on others. This has lead to some heated arguments.

    The Hau family has a strong affinity with Magnetism. Zel's hasn't developed quite as well as expected, but it is there none the less. She is constantly training with it, and has employed it with her weapons.

    Older generations may know of a special technique created by her great grandfather. This technique grabbed person's blood by the iron in it, and pulled the blood out. Needless to say, this became a forbidden technique.

    - Ryouba no Wa (Double-Edged Ring) - This is a close range defensive technique. It involves bringing her bladed ring between her and an attacker, and having it spin in place, like a circular saw blade. It's not one she likes to use, as there is a good chance of the force of somebody hitting the ring causing it to slide back and hit her as well.

    - Koutetsukyuu no Danmaku (Steel Sphere Barrage) - Zel's many pockets open, and all of the spheres fly out and hover around her. She swings her arms forward, and the spheres take off at high speed. This technique, when it hits, causes much damage to the opponent, especially at close range, as the spheres can potentially pierce the skin.

    - (Magnetic Fist) - Zel surrounds her fist in a magnetic field and throws a punch. On impact, the field emits a magnetic pulse, which causes enemies to be knocked back quite a distance. This can also be used to knock down walls.

    - Jisei (Magnetism) - Zel can emit magnetic fields, which allows her to move metal objects without touching them. She has limits with this, mostly dependent on the size of the object, and its distance from her.

    - Kyokusei (Polarity) - Because of the Hau family's trait, Zel can actually see electrical and magnetic fields. This can be useful for finding things that gives off such fields. If she focuses, she can also see the magnetic fields of the Earth itself, making her a living compass.

    - Agility - Zel uses her magnetic abilities to increase her agility. She has attached steel plates to the bottom of her boots. There are also pieces of metal on her clothes. She can use these to pull herself around, even if her limbs have gone numb. This is also how she water walks, as well as wall and tree walking.

    The Akiyama family has been a minor family of the Village of Chasms for generations. During this time, they have tended to produce Ninja focusing on speed, with most of the family being Wind Chakra users. Junko was, like most of the family, sent to the Academy at the standard age, and excelled in the subjects, particularly Sealing techniques, although her skill at Genjutsu was middling at best. She rose fairly quickly through the ranks, rising to the rank of Tokubetsu Jounin (specializing in Taijutsu) at the age of 15.
    At the age of 19, her parents arranged a marriage to Hatamoto Haruto, the last bearer of the [Ultimate Eye] bloodline. Although they didn’t particularly feel much for one another, her parents would not allow arguments from her, and he agreed for his own reasons. As such, she agreed, and bore it, as she was still an active-duty ninja, and therefore didn’t have to be with him all the time. At the age of 21, she had a daughter, Kasumi.
    Three weeks after Kasumi’s birth, Haruto attacked several other ninja of the village during a mission, slaughtering a Chuunin team. He made one trip back to the Village of Chasms, where he made a promise to Junko: “If I ever encounter anyone else from this village again, I will kill them as well.” Then, he left, leaving no explanation for his actions.
    Junko, determined to be able to protect herself and her allies if she ever encountered Haruto, started researching a way to counter and defeat his bloodline, eventually leading to her discovery of the Hiraishin no Jutsu. During this time, she rose to the rank of Jounin, and is now ready to command a Genin team.


    Bloodline: None, but inventor of the Hiraishin no Jutsu

    Notable Jutsu:

    * Shikei no In (Capital Punishment Seal): This seal, normally placed on special kunai, is used as a complement to the Hiraishin no Jutsu. At present, Junko can only keep a link to five seals at once for the purposes of Hiraishin no Jutsu.

    * Hiraishin no Jutsu (Flying Thunder God Technique): This technique allows Junko to teleport to any one of the seals she has created with Shikei no In, at a fairly high rate.

    Special Abilities:

    Genjutsu: Poor. Junko's skills in this area tend more towards dispelling than creating Genjutsu.

    Taijutsu: Excellent. Junko uses a style of Taijutsu that works well in conjunction with the Hiraishin no Jutsu.

    Ninjutsu: Average. Although she is quite good at sealing techniques, Junko's skills in other Ninjutsu are at the lower end of Jounin skills. However, she does have some fairly standard offensive Jutsu of Wind-aspected chakra.

    Her team consists of Akiyama Kasumi, Giman Kana, and Isamu Shun.

    Appearance: A young teenage girl, Kasumi has the hair and eyes of her mother (although her hair is shorter), although she has slightly darker skin. In most cases, she wears the standard Genin outfit, with the symbol of the Village of Chasms around her neck, and two wakizashi buckled over her back.

    Bloodline: Kasumi is one of only two current possessors of the [Ultimate Eye] Bloodline, which does two things: firstly, it enable the user to notice even the smallest of movements whithin their field of view, and secondly, it makes short-term predictions of movements of objects within its field of view. This second property makes a possessor of the bloodline quite dangerous in Taijutsu. It has three weaknesses, however. Firstly, the Chakra consumption of the eyes is such that to use Genjutsu or Ninjutsu while having it active is very impractical- also, unless Chakra reserves are built up, it cannot be kept up for long. Secondly, it can only take into account things it can see- stabbing through an object is a perfectly viable way of taking a user of the bloodline completely off guard. Finally, it is incredibly obvious when this technique is active, as the eyes glow red.

    Kasumi, at present, can only maintain the bloodline for a minute before starting to suffer chakra exhaustion. Therefore, she either needs to end a fight within a minute, or pick her time to activate it carefully.

    Notable Jutsu: None. Kasumi uses standard Academy techniques. Her main trump card is her [Ultimate Eye]

    Special Abilities: Kasumi focuses mainly on her Taijutsu and Kenjutsu, in a style that is well-used by users of the [Ultimate Eye] bloodline to be fast, brutal, and to end a fight before the weaknesses of the bloodline come into play. She uses the two-blade variant of such, with dual wakizashi.

His eyes are dark gray. He has large bushy eyebrows. His hair is black, shoulder length and shaggy. Upon his chin rests a short, thick, unkempt beard. His face is square and chiseled. It appears naturally serious and intimidating, however, it can easily be made to give off a warm, friendly impression. His skin is naturally fair, but it is lightly tanned by the sun. Fudo wears a simple, nondescript, shirt and pair of pants along with a belt that bares his village's symbol on a metal plate. His clothes are gray. Fudo has a confident and casual air about him.

    Fudo is an easygoing and peaceful person. He is very understanding and patient. He is confident and brave and he possesses an indomitable will. He is friendly and an excellent listener. He likes joking around, but when necessary, he is capable of being extremely serious and ruthless. He is quite modest and a hard worker. Fudo is thoughtful, introspective and reflective. He enjoys honing his skills and cares greatly about fitness. He is always trying to surpass his current limitations and takes a highly disciplined approach to his training. At the same time he is enthusiastic about intellectual pursuits.

    Fudo heads the Genda clan, an organization of masterful taijutsu specialists. Its members most often serve as front line soldiers, battlefield commanders and drill instructors within the regular army. The clan held substantial influence in military matters, but that was mainly because of the effectiveness of its members in war and the fact that their knowledge of tactics and skill in leadership could not be overlooked. They were also quite well respected by the soldiers of other families and the general populace. The Fujiwara, despite working in the shadows, made most of the major decisions. They chose who to attack, defend and aid while the Genda had to do the actual hands on work. Naturally, the clan was unhappy with spilling its blood while having little say in who it did so for and threatened to revolt against the Fujiwara. In order to avoid a conflict they did not want while gaining greater influence they proposed a marriage between Shinobu and Fudo. This marriage was to represent a serious merging of the two clans, not to merely improve relationships. Many additional marriages between members of the two clans followed. Though they are still viewed as two distinct families they are also largely seen as one in the same.

    Fudo has done his best to represent his family and prove himself to his wife. Since she continually avoided him in favor of honing her skills, he likewise immersed himself in his training and excelled at it to an equal extent. Unlike her, most of his missions involved working in large groups and conventional combat. All throughout his career he has taken leadership positions and been a mentor to others. When under the orders of other ninja he usually acted as second in command or a sub division leader. He is well known for his charisma, discipline and martial prowess. Instead of carrying out assassinations, he has worked many times as a bodyguard to national and foreign persons of importance and successfully thwarted all assailants. Over time he quickly rose through the ranks of the military and took part in whatever conflicts broke out. Currently he is a general within the army.

    Fudo cares greatly for Shinobu and his family. His elders taught him much of what he knows and helped him the build the strong, virtuous character he now has. They greatly motivated him to make the best of his life and he doubts he would have done as well he has without them. At the same time he largely only feels formally obligated to care for his family members and remain loyal to them. He has been raised to believe that people must settle their problems on their own and to be detached from others. In his mind he has paid whatever debts he owes his family by bringing it great prestige with his achievements. In addition he knows those who helped him did so partly because they felt the same formal obligation and for their own benefit.

    Though Shinobu is cold to him he tries his best to do right by her and wishes they could live together closely as a regular family. He figures that just because they were forced into marriage doesn't mean he has to hate it. He'd much rather try to make the best of the situation. Fudo likes the idea to some extent because it makes his life simpler. He knows who he is to be with and now he simply has to be a good husband. He perpetually looks for opportunities to spend time with Shinobu and his children. He holds no ill will towards her if they aren't all his. He would merely be saddened if that were the case. He'd never take on a mistress or be unfaithful to her because that would undermine his efforts to get closer to her and he feels it would be insulting to her.

    Bloodline: Fudo's family has no kekkei genkai or dojutsu but its members are renowned for being naturally athletic, very healthy and strong and enduring without training. They are also known for having large frames and inherently muscular and lean bodies.

    Notable Jutsu:

    Special Abilities:
    Ridiculously Strong and Enduring: Fudo's strength and endurance aren't just impressive for a taijutsu expert. They are astonishing for anyone of any status. He has great all around endurance. He has immense physical and mental stamina. He is able to withstand extraordinary attacks/damage to his body and mind. This toughness extends to genjutsu, poisons and illnesses.

    Master Medical-nin: Fudo has spent his whole life learning about the medical techniques of the mundane and the shinobi. He is extremely skilled at treating all forms of afflictions.

    Taijutsu: Fudo is highly skilled in taijutsu. He is much better at it than ninjutsu. It is his primary way of fighting. He is very strong, fast and enduring as well as a master of various unarmed martial arts.

    Ninjutsu: Fudo is pretty skilled in ninjutsu but he hates to use it. He would much rather fight all his battles using only taijutsu.

    Clan Trivia:
    The Genda clan's crest is the lotus.
    Its members primarily focus on learning taijutsu because they somewhat agree with samurai views.
    They believe people should focus on honing their minds and bodies before learning ninjutsu and genjutsu and they should be careful not to rely on them too much.
    They care greatly about defeating their opponents without using trickery so they generally choose not to learn it to avoid the temptation to deceive others.
    All clan members are taught medical ninjutsu to improve and better understand the workings of their bodies.

    Backstory: ...to be honest, most of what needs to be said about him is in Junko's backstory. Only thing that isn't mentioned there is that both his parents were killed in missions when he was quite young. Although that's one theory on why he turned Missing-Nin, it's not confirmed, and Junko, for one, doesn't think that's right.

    Bloodline: Haruto is the other bearer of the [Ultimate Eye] jutsu. See Kasumi's profile for information, with the alteration that Haruto is capable of keeping it active for four minutes without jutsu of any other kind.

    Notable Jutsu: None. Unlike his daughter, Haruto doesn't even bother with Academy Jutsu, being monomanically focused on Kenjutsu.

    Special Abilities: Haruto is monomanically focused on Kenjutsu, using a katana in combat. He is at the peak of human fitness, however, and is perfectly capable of taking down the average Jounin in single (or even multiple) combat, unless measures are specifically taken to remove his advantages.

    Appearance: Leech is covered in Black clothing that has a hood that covers most of his head and body. He has 2 deep black beetle eyes that have no iris or anything, just blackness. He has some cloth wrapped around his mouth and nose, further hidding his features.

    However, when he gets into combat, he is less secretive in his looks. Underneath these clothing features, is an abomination sight. His head is bald and uneven, such as that of an insect's. His mouth forms the shape of an "O" and has razorsharp teeth all around the rim of it.

    He carrys many summoning scrolls to perform his many acts of forbidden jutsu.

    Personality: Leech's past is unknown. Only thing known is the fact that he is from the Village Hidden in the Mist and is hunted by their anbu. He is part of a secret deadly criminal organization known as the Shoku. His crimes are known well and far.

    Leech has a deranged idea about human nature. In his view, every human being is a leech themselves. In response to this, he decided to "improve" this parasitic relationship in himself, and that's what he has done. He has made a pact with the parasitic insects and summons a bunch of them in the process. Most of these summonings are part of Forbidden Jutsu's.

    He cares not for anyone but himself and experiments on others to achieve his disired state. He has subjegated entire villages and has it's occupants hidden in secret layers across the world. He has each occupant tagged and imprisoned in special cages. He may chose to summon one anytime to use them to complete Forbidden Jutsu's.

    Bloodline: ??????

    Notable Jutsu: Most of Leech's Jutsu's are forrbidden. These are amoung the many he uses most often.

    • Transparent hive: A special barrier is errected similar to that of an insect hive. The barrier is however transparent so he can see out at all people. The strands of wax that keep it together is amoung the toughest material that exists. He uses this Jutsu to help prepare Forrbidden jutsu's.
    • Maggot Summoning: A Jutsu that requires a human sacrifice. Leech usually conjures one of his many prisoners and performs this Jutsu on them. Maggots of enormous size burst out of the host, killing them in the process. These maggots are fast and agile fighters with immense strength.
    • Roach Summoning: A Jutsu that requires a human sacrifice. Leech usually conjures one of his many prisoners and performs this Jutsu on them. A roach then burst out, killing the host. This insect is enormous in size and strength and spits a deadly acid.
    • Parasitic Infestation: By conjuring a bunch of insects, Leech then sends them out toward opponents in large numbers. If they manage to reach their target, they then burrow into them, eating them from the inside and excreating a paralyzing toxin in the process.


    Special Abilities: Leech has a special affiliation with parasetic insects. Thus, some features have been characterized by this.

    • Leeching: Leech is able to extend his life by this process. He needs only to bite a victim with his mouth and suck out their blood. Most usually die in the process. He usually prefers the neck when using this ability. The younger the victim, the stronger Leech gets.
    • Parasitic Chakra Absorption: Leech is able to suck out the chakra of victims by biting them with his mouth. The result sucks out all available Chakra and usually kills the victim in the process.
    • Insect Affiliation: Leech is able to communicate and use many types of Parasitic insects. He uses them to help fight or scout for potential victims.
    • Swarm teleportation: Leech is able to use the chakra of his swarm of insects and move between them when they are massed together. He uses this mainly to get around quickly across the land.
    • Insect Merging: Leech is able to merge into one of his summoned Insects. As such, the creature mutates into a stronger and more frightening version of it's original form as Leech is merged. However, this technique uses up continual and a large amount of chakra.

    Appearance: Shun is a little shorter than average, but this gives no indication of weakness. He is extremely fit, and his entire body is covered with wiry muscles. He has a sharp face with keen eyes and short black hair. One unusual physical trait he possesses is his irises, which are black in coloration. Shun prefers loose, comfortable clothing, over which he wears a tight-fitting vest with numerous pockets for storing ninja equipment. He always carries his katana, an unadorned but well-made blade, sheathed at his belt. When prepared for battle, Shun also wears his samurai armor, although he forgoes the use of a helmet.

    Personality: Shun is reserved and proud, preferring not to have to rely on others. For most of his life, he was able to learn and advance entirely on his own, and his lack of similar talent for Ninjutsu is extremely frustrating for him. He will ask for help only if he absolutely needs it, or in life-or-death situations. He is scornful of those who are lazy or incompetent. Shun cannot stand being insulted, and insulting his abilities is the fastest way to get a rise out of him. One of Shun's greatest struggles is his lack of identity; he doesn't know how to define himself.

    Shun possesses the Kekkei Genkai of the Mokushi clan, the
    Dōjutsu known as Kuroigan, the All Knowing Black Eye.

    When it is activated, the user's eyes become completely black, except for a simple pattern located in the center of the eye. The Kuroigan has two abilities. The first is telescopic vision. The Kuroigan can zoom the user's focus in on any point they have a direct line of sight to. The degree to which the eye can magnify is reliant on the user's skill with the Dōjutsu. In addition to zooming in, it can also focus on a point that would otherwise be too small to properly discern, again depending on the user's capability.

    The second, and more potent, ability of the Kekkei Genkai is analysis. Any object observed by a user of the Kuroigan has all of its weak and strong points laid bare. The user sees them as glowing points or lines across the surface of the object. Higher levels of knowledge unlock new uses for this ability. First, living beings can be analyzed like objects, revealing areas that they are strong or weak in. Second is Chakra techniques, revealing where they are most powerful and weak points, if applicable. At the final stage, the the Kuroigan attains the ability of full structural analysis, revealing the full shape and internal design of any object that is focused on for a sufficient length of time. Larger objects require longer periods of focus.

    As he only discovered his bloodline recently and all of his learning has been through trial and error, Shun has only the most basic of abilities with his Kuroigan.

    Gust Shot: A basic wind technique. The user pushes both hands forward, releasing a forceful gust of wind at the target. Weak, but can push an opponent off balance or reflect projectiles.

    Updraft Wall: The user causes the air around them to launch upwards, momentarily creating a powerful updraft around themselves. Useful against light projectiles and weak fire techniques, but otherwise useless.

    Wind Step: The user concentrates their Chakra in their feet, then releases a powerful blast of wind from them. The release propels the user forward or up, allowing them to close with an enemy or escape an attack. It can also be used to change directions in midair.

    Wind Blade: To complete this technique, the user makes a slashing motion with their hand or a tool. A sharp arc of air emerges from the slash and flies towards the target. The technique is difficult to pinpoint, but has a very obvious initiation, lacks great speed, and has very little penetrating power.

    Wasp Blade: Shun's most advanced and powerful technique by far. The user creates a current of wind around the blade of a sword or a limb. The current contains thousands of small blades of air, and rotates at an extremely high speed, greatly increasing its cutting power. Using the technique creates a loud buzzing noise as the blades grind against each other, which gives the technique its name. Shun can barely use this technique, making it much weaker than if it was used by a full master. Additionally, it drains his Chakra at a rapid rate and usually collapses after a few seconds.

    Samurai Battle Training: Shun was trained as a samurai for years, and had attained the rank of Mononofu before defecting from the Land of Iron. As a result, he was well versed in the foundations of samurai battle techniques, and has only furthered his ability since then.

    Chakra Enchantment: Shun's Chakra affinity is for the Wind element, and he is trained in Samurai Chakra Enchantment using this element. This allows him to make the blade of his sword less visible, as well as adding strength to his attacks by channeling powerful winds.

    Kenjutsu: Shun's main form of combat. He is highly skilled in the arts of the sword, and has always possessed a high degree of talent for the blade. Shun's combat style and training revolve around the style known as Battōjutsu, emphasizing a sudden opening strike from the sheath followed by several subsequent attacks before returning the blade to its sheath.

    Equipment: Shun carries standard ninja tools in his vest. Shun usually wears his samurai armor when fighting, at least initially. Shun has modified the armor heavily, making it even more restricting to movement than normal while allowing it to be removed very easily. He has trained extensively with the armor to get used to its restricting shape. The upside of this is that without the armor, he is able to move very quickly. Shun wears the armor to defend himself until he has determined his opponent's abilities, then removes it to increase his speed to better deliver a killing blow.


    Background: Shun is a relatively new arrival in the Village Hidden in Chasms, having arrived several months ago. He became an official ninja of the city somewhat soon after his arrival, after undergoing a strict series of background checks and interviews to ensure he wasn't a spy. He has no friends and doesn't talk much about his past, making him something of an enigma between his samurai training and Kekkei Genkai.

    Kichirou Nobuyuki, Kirigakure Missing-Nin

    Appearance: Nobuyuki is short, and possesses a slender figure. He usually smiles faintly, giving a generally good-natured impression. At first glance, this makes him look harmless. Nothing could be farther from the truth. More careful observation notes several things that are odd about him. Nobuyuki possesses the balanced grace of predator, but at the same time is virtually unreadable from body language. His footsteps are also utterly silent, disturbing nothing and making not even the slightest noise. Both of these indicate that he is more dangerous than he appears. Nobuyuki has a soft, thin face and extremely light blue eyes the color of mist. He wears a long, black cloak, which is dotted with blue cloud designs. He also wears a simple but durable sakkat. At his waist, he also carries a long, straight-bladed Ninjatō.

    Personality: Nobuyuki is rather enigmatic. He typically maintains a polite, even friendly, manner to those around him. Countering this, however, he also has a history of making insulting or demeaning remarks about his employers, and on occasion even killing them outright without any apparent reason. That said, he can almost always find an employer willing to risk it due to his skills. Nobuyuki almost never seeks out conflict on his own, but the rare times he does so are terrifying. Although he has no apparent trouble with killing, Nobuyuki often leaves survivors from his battles. The exception to this is ninja from his former home; no Kirigakure ninja survives contact with Nobuyuki.

    Bloodline: Hyōton. By combining Wind and Water Chakra, Nobuyuki can create Ice techniques. This Kekkei Genkai goes beyond normal Ice techniques created with simple Water Chakra, as it can be used even without an existing source of ice or water. Additionally, it is highly resistant to fire.

    Hidden Mist: A water technique that creates a large mass of mist around the user. This allows them to hide from an opponent and conceal their movements, as well as confuse and disorient their enemies. The density of the mist can be controlled by the user, going anywhere from a light haze to an impenetrable fog. This is the basis of Nobuyuki's fighting style.

    Mist Nightmare: A situational Genjutsu technique that can only be used in areas of dense fog. When it is used, the victims of the technique begin to see movements in the mist at the corners of their eyesight. No distinct source can be seen of these movements, and they cannot be seen if directly looked at. As time goes on, the target also starts hearing strange sounds echoing around them. The technique's greatest asset is that it is extremely subtle; often the target doesn't even realize they are affected.

    Ice Web: The user spreads a thin lair of ice over the ground in a large area. This ice has two effects. First, it begins to slowly grow over the feet of anyone other than the user that touches it, slowing them down and preventing them from standing still. Secondly, it allows the user to know the location of anything touching the ice as long as he is also doing so. This does not provide any information beyond distance and weight, making it possible to deceive the user if the nature of the technique is determined.

    Hungering Ice Web Technique: An extension of the Ice Web technique, the user forgoes their connection to the ice, becoming unable to sense through it. In exchange, the growth effect of the ice on anyone touching it becomes much faster, swallowing unwary fighters whole. Even aware opponents must constantly keeping on the move or risk imprisonment.

    Omniscient Ice Killer: Despite the impressive name, this technique itself is fairly simple and, under normal circumstances, quite weak. The user creates a construction of ice in the air, which is then projected at an enemy. These constructions are weak and easily broken, but also very sharp, and the attack can come from everywhere. The technique is simple and can be repeated many times. In addition, in areas of heavy rain or mist, the chakra cost for this technique is almost nothing, and the reduced visibility greatly increases the technique's deadliness.

    Binding Ice Shield: A potent defensive Hyoton technique, when activated the user can materialize ice to anchor nearby weapons or enemies to the ground, walls, or ceiling of their location. The technique automatically affects all objects in range at the moment of its activation, even ones that the user does not percieve. As its name suggests, it is often used to intercept attacks due to its very short range of effectiveness.

    Ice Coffin/Frozen Grave: The user creates a large wave of ice and attempts to smother their opponent with it, sending it flowing forward like a tide towards their enemies. Impact causes the ice to flow around the target, swallowing them whole. This is the Ice Coffin technique. If the technique successfully ensnares an enemy, spikes of ice then drive inwards from all sides, repeatedly impaling and almost assuredly killing the target. This is the Frozen Grave technique.

    Mist Labyrinth Technique: A genjutsu that perfectly duplicates the effects of a large cloud of mist surrounding the target or targets. While the technique is active, the targets cannot willingly leave its area of effect, and will subconsciously be directed away from the edge of the mist. It is noticeable because the mist instantly forms, but if used in an area of natural mist, there is no such difficulty. Additionally, it becomes impossible to tell if the genjutsu has been broken.

    Hail of Vengeance: The user creates thousands of tiny ice blades in the air high above them, which swirl around each other in a large cloud. After a few seconds, the spikes that form the ice cloud begin raining on the surrounding area at very high speeds, avoiding only the user.

    Hateful Ice Forest: The user places their hands upon the ground, and inject a large mass of ice into the earth below themselves. After a few seconds, numerous large spikes of ice stab upward from the ground in a wide area around the user. The weakness of this technique is that it requires several seconds to use, during which the user must remain in the same place, and it has very low accuracy.

    Summoning Pact: Nobuyuki possesses a summoning pact with the Centipedes.

    Frozen Tsunami/Frozen Grave of Armies: A more powerful version of Ice Coffin/Frozen Grave. The user creates a titanic wave of ice that sweeps over a large area in front of them. The Ice moves organically, as though it was still water, but utterly traps anyone caught in its path. Once the wave stops moving and freezes in place, any victims on the surface are sucked fully into the mass. The user then releases a massive pulse of Chakra in to the wave, causing anyone within to be stabbed repeatedly by sharpened spikes of ice. This technique is extremely potent, but requires an extraordinary amount of Chakra.

    Other: As a Hyoton bloodline user, Nobuyuki knows a significant number of water and wind techniques. None are particularly notable.

    Silent Killing: Nobuyuki is a master of the Soundless Murder Technique of Kirigakure. Simply put, he can near-instantly kill a target with utter silence if they cannot see him. He usually uses his sword for this, but he can also do it with his bare hands.

    Hand Signs: Nobuyuki is ridiculously fast at forming hand signs, and even ninja with powerful Dōjutsus have been known to be unable to follow his hand movements.

    Stealth: Nobuyuki is completely silent, making not even the slightest hint of noise. He is a master of staying to the shadows or out of sight, particularly in areas of heavy fog.


    Background: Nobuyuki first attracted attention from the ninja community after he broke from Kirigakure in his mid teens. He was immediately placed at S-Rank and was give an astoundingly high bounty by Kirigakure, although no explanation for this was given.

    One of his first acts as a missing-nin was to attack and kill ninjas from each of the five major Hidden Villages, as if he was trying to anger all of them. As a result of these and other offenses, he is wanted in virtually every country on the continent and has a massive bounty on his head.

    Currently, Nobuyuki continues to wander, seemingly aimlessly. He offers his skills as an assassin and warrior to anyone who can pay. The price is high, but the results are undeniable.

    Kana wants to be strong enough to bring pride to her family and her village. Although her skills now are only just above average, she refuses to accept defeat and won't rest until she gains a position of power and fame.

    Kana's family are skilled ninjutsu specialists, with a tendancy towards wind and fire affinities. Genjutsu is something few of them have talent with-which is exactly why she prides herself on hers. Her father died on a mission while she was younger, and her mother remarried for power. Several of her siblings-of which she has many-bear the blood, and the kekkei genkai, of her stepfather, and her jealousy is the main driving force behind her power seeking. Even with that, she loves her family. Although you'll never find her admitting it.


    Bloodline: None, to her eternal fury.

    Elemental Affinity: Wind. Will eventually learn fire.

    Ninjutsu:
    Futon: Teikai (Trans: Air Slash. Sort of.) A simple wind release that forms a blade of wind directing with a slashing palm motion. Can cause a deep cut, or shatter a wooden door, but unlikely to be fatal against anyone of equal power.
    Flying Swallow. Kana can channel her wind chakra through a kunai, increasing it's length and cutting power. She intends on learning kenjutsu at some point to gain greater use for this.

    Genjutsu: In theory, genjutsu are Kana's speciality. In practice, she only has two.
    Magen: Meimujakou (Approx Trans: Demonic Illusion: Illusion of Weakness) This technique jmakes the enemy think that the user is weak, slow, and/ore clumsy. This may give them the second's advantage needed to win-or make a powerful foe think they aren't worth killing. More notably, this technique can persist even through pain, although not if the pain was inflicted for the single purpose if dispelling illusions.
    Magen: Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique)

    Taijutsu: Rather skilled. Her family use a fighting style emphasising speed and power over defence, and she likes to combine it with her genjutsu to allow her to strike with impunity.

    Basic Jutsu: Kana is competent with basic jutsu, although has yet to master the shunshin. She finds kawarimi difficult.

    Other: Kana's family summons are a group of fire aligned birds. Although she has signed the contract, she has yet to muster up anything like the necessary chakra to summon one.

    Overall Fighting Style: Kana is sneaky in a very blunt way. She makes you think she's an easy target with subtle illusions, and then punches you in the face while looking like she's got a broken leg.

    Appearance: Yuu is a thin and not particularly tall kid with a wide-eyed and quite androgynous look surrounded by shoulder-length brownish hair held out of the youngster's face by a Chasm headband.

    The most notable feature besides the straps of cloth bound around the genin's waist is by far Yuu's eyes which show the Aokigami bloodline's doujutsu with gold-coloured irises centred on pupils shaped like four-pointed stars that almost seem to reveal more of their owner's emotions than normal eyes would.

    Yuu's usual attires consist mainly of baggy shirts and pants always coupled with the same scarf and a multitude of cloth straps bound around the young ninja's waist and quite often moving as separate limbs due to Yuu's affinity for the Honpu no Jutsu.

    Personality: Yuu is quite a bit crazy and impulsive, jumping right for the fun path instead of one that avoids getting into trouble for catching a lost cat with Suirō no Jutsu or challenging teachers to duels.

    Despite the almost creepy love of fighting and craziness, Yuu can be friendly enough and won't actually hurt anyone on purpose with any of the crazy ideas the Chasm youth drag them into.

    Though usually wild and crazy, Yuu can actually be persuasive if there's something the young ninja really want or someone's being too stubborn to see the fun in the latest crazy idea.

    Bloodline: The Aokigami family possess the oddly named Kingan, or Golden Eyes, doujutsu believed to originate from a much grander kekkei genkai many generations ago beofre they settled in the Village hidden in Chasms.

    The Kingan gives the user the ability to see chakra as a blue haze or light depending on it's concentration and use, a genjutsu may simply paint it's subjects in a blue shimmer to the Kingan user while a powerful ninjutsu would illuminate the area in bright light.

    It carries a large chakra cost to keep the Kingan active and years of practice to use it to detect chakra not being used, as such Yuu is not yet powerful enough to use it very often.

    Notable Jutsu:
    • Honpu no jutsu: Yuu can manipulate cloth and similar material, usually the straps tied around the young shinobi's waist, and have them act as extra limbs and manipulate or hold objects, while under the effect of the Jutsu the material used becomes quite resistant to other weapons although they can rarely protect Yuu directly.
    • Suirō no Jutsu: The water prison Jutsu, traps the opponent in a sphere of water.
    • Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu : Creates a water clone with 10% of the originals strength.

    Special Abilities:

    Affinity for Water-based and manipulative Jutsu: Yuu's main ninjutsu skills lie in Water Jutsu and those of Honpu no Jutsu's nature.

    Taijutsu skills: While Yuu's main focus is on ninjutsu, the ninja student still possess a comparatively good deal of skill in taijutsu for a young genin.

    Tori stands about as tall as everyone else. He is fairly muscled for his age, a benefit of excessive periods of training.
    Tori loves the colour blue. He wears a dark blue pouched west and belt over light blue pants and a light blue shirt. His black short hair is covered by a military style Barret, his Ninja headband remains tightly strapped around his right biceps.
    His facial expression is usually very serious except when he talks to someone on witch occasion it changes to a shy smile.

    Tori is extremely focused on everything he does. He is capable of clearing his mind of all but a single goal he then persuades with surreal stubbornness. That leads him to sometimes appear absent minded
    . He is know to be a very reliable friend , keeping his firends safe is always on the top of his priority list.
    He is generally very shy when talking to other people, but due to his great willpower he is capable of overcoming this flaw if he has the right motivation.


    Bloodline: Tori does not posses any notable bloodlines.

    Ninjutsu: this is one of Tori's Strong Areas he uses mostly Raiton though
    Static Charging: Tori imbues his own body with electricity until he is bristling with blue sparks. Should an enemy come to close to him he will inevitably get shocked.
    This ability does not only consume Chakra but is also very painful due to the electricity harming Tori's body.
    Electric Arc When he is close enough to his target and has his static Charging Jutsus active he can rise the electric tension for a moment to create a highly energetic voltage bow to his target. The further away he is from his enemy the more chakra does this Jutsu consume.
    Genjutsu: Very weak. He theoretically knows how to dispel one though he never used it in praxis.
    Tajjutsu: Also one of his stronger fields. He uses a very precise controlled kind of fighting stile putting concentration in every single move. He uses this in combination with his ninjutsu to increase his range. His Chakra pool is still quite low though so he can't keep up for long.
    Standartjutsu: Tori graduated from the ninja Academy with fairly good grade's so he is in capable of all fairly basic jutsus.

    Determinator: Tori is extremely focused in and outside of battle. He will not back down easily if he doesn't have a good reason and almost always only stop to fight when he is not capable of moving a single muscle anymore. This ability also makes it harder to affect him with genjutsu

    Appearance: Amaya is a lean, muscled woman with normal female curves. Her eyes are green and cat shaped, while her canines are sharper then the average human, revealing herself as the host of the Nibi. She has loose shoulder length hair that is light blue and in a ponytail, with bangs covering her forehead.
    Her outfit is made up from your basic jounin jacket and female ninja shoes, while she wears her headband around her neck like a collar. She wears long black socks that reach up to her knees and black tight shorts. Over these shorts she wears a short dark blue skirt with a split on her right side, covered with a belt that holds her tools like kunai's etc. Amaya also wears a sleeveless light blue shirt with an open back and ends in a turtleneck around her neck. On her right shoulder she has a cat paw tattoo.

    Notable Jutsu:
    Amaya isn't exactly Taijutsu orientated, but due to her connection with the Nibi she's stronger and faster then average. She's also extremely athletic/agile like a cat. But fighting skill wise she isn't any better then other Jounin and relies more on her ninjutsu then anything else.
    Water release: (Amaya can create water from air or chakra, but is at her strongest when she's near water.)
    Cat Bullet Technique: Amaya creates a large cat made out of water that will attack her opponent and deal immense physical damage. The more water Amaya has at her disposal the stronger it becomes.

    Water Gun Technique
    : Amaya spits a large amount of water at her target.

    Thousand Flying Water Needles of Death: A one handed seal technique, Amaya grabs her opponent, creates a circle of sharp water needles around them and fires those before jumping away.

    Great Waterfall technique: This technique extends water over a large scale, surges and rises up to several dozen meters high. Then it streams down to the ground in one big cascade, much like a gigantic waterfall. In doing so, it resembles a huge wave, with tremendous power that can hollow out the ground. (Only works when Amaya has Nibi's chakra at her disposal)

    Exploding Water Colliding Wave:
    The user spits out a great volume of water from their mouth, swallowing up and crushing the enemy with the advancing surge. The user can ride the wave, allowing them to move at high speed, and attack the enemy, now swept off their feet, without fear of counter-attacks. The amount of water created is proportional to the amount of chakra used. (Only works when Amaya has Nibi's chakra at her disposal)

    Defense:
    Water clone technique: Amaya creates a clone out of water.

    Hidden in Water technique: Amaya blends into the water around her.

    Hidden Myst technique: Amaya creates a thick mist with her chakra, causing her to appear or disappear at will for her target.

    Water Prison technique: Amaya traps her opponent in a almost inescapable sphere of water, but has to hold at least one arm in contact with this prison.


    Special Abilities
    : Amaya has certain special abilities due to her role as a host of a Byuu. This works only if the Nibi and Amaya work together, else she's stuck with her water Jutsu.
    Boil Element Jutsu:
    Scolding Steam Technique: the user blows forth a cloud of steam well above boiling-point of water in temperature to cook her enemies alive. Despite it's intense heat, this Jutsu actually has great utility in putting out fires, as it replaces all air and Katon Chakra in an area.

    Caustic Mist Technique: creates green-tinted cloud of deceptively cool mist. However, it's infused with Katon Chakra, causing chemical reactions in contact with bare skin, resulting to painful burn wounds. This Jutsu actually has two variations: one makes alkaline, while other makes acidic mist. The first is increasingly dangerous to organic substances, while the latter reacts more strongly and sometimes violently with metals.

    Suffocating Mist Technique: Same as Caustic Mist Technique, but seems to work only when breathed in by the victim. It causes major burns to the lungs and nostrils. It will become very hard to breath for anybody other then Amaya .

    Acidic armor Technique: Amaya gets surrounded by an acidic mist that doesn't do her harm but will eat right through her surroundings, for example metal and flesh. If one breaths it in then the acidic nature will eat away at a persons insides.

    Acidic Mist Clone: A clone made from acidic mist. When touched it won't only disappear but explode causing the acid to splash over the one who touched it.

    Jinchuuriki shapes:
    Balanced form: When Amaya and the Nibi work together in a balanced way Amaya is able to use the Two Tailed Cat cloak as protection. In this shape it is easier for her to use Boil Element jutsu and she's faster and stronger then she is alone. The cloak can be seen around her in the form of a two tailed cat and is created by mist.

    Unbalanced form: When Amaya is unbalanced and still tries to use the Nibi's powers, she'll instead call out a cloak made out of fire which hurts her body. It is still the shape of the Two Tailed Cat, but Amaya is unable to use any sort of elemental jutsu and therefore relies more on strength and speed.

    Personality: Amaya is known for having two distinct personalities. Nobody is sure how this came to be. The rumors are that she has been put into severe danger as a child by her village as a part of her training for being a jinchikuuri. Others think she's always been like that, but most rumors believe that her mind did this to deal with the presence of the Nibi.

    Her basic and normal personality is very mellow and sweet. She doesn't make a fuss about a lot and is willing to help those she cares about.
    Her other personality however comes out when Amaya is experiencing a great amount of stress. If the stress is high enough, her vicious, sadistic and violent personality will take over. This personality is known to be highly intelligent and set on killing all who Amaya deems her enemy, though friends don't have to be safe from her per say. This Amaya also rather avoids battle then being in one. If she is engaged in a fight she rather tries to get out of it with her defensive abilities.
    This second personality is the cause that most people in Amaya's village usually try to keep her calm, for her host powers are over great importance, but having her running around murdering everybody is of course unwanted. It's unsure if Amaya is aware of this second personality.
    Note: stress does not have to be fights per say, once Amaya was highly stressed over a boy who tried to kiss her and that boy is now missing an arm.
    Note 2: The actually explanation regarding these two personalities is due to Amaya being inhabited by the Nibi. The Two Tailed Cat controls fire, while Amaya controls water and this is also the reason why people of Amaya's clan get chosen as a host.
    The balance between the Nibi and Amaya can be seen as Yin and Yang, with Amaya functioning as the calm Yin and Nibi as the wild Yang. When Amaya experiences a lot of stress the balance starts to shift and Amaya pulls too much to the Yang, becoming violent and out of control. This in turn causes a shift in powers which makes her unable to use her own water powers and the fire powers of Nibi. When Amaya is in perfect balance, where she and Nibi work together, she can combine their powers into Boil element jutsu. Her powers are completely dependent on how much this 'balance is kept'.

    History: A,aya is the daughter of the 4th Mizukage. She is the youngest of two and her older brother has been deemed as the best ninja of his generation in the land of Water. Because of this she's always been compared to him and has a slight inferiority complex. When Amaya was just an infant the Mizukage had a desire of more power so he could solidify the Land of Water's position as one of the Five Countries. To do this they needed a Byuu and the Two Tailed cat got targeted for it's Fire powers, knowing that the clan of the Mizukage specialized in Water jutsu and therefore could keep the animal under control.
    Amaya got chosen to be it's host due to her connection with the kage and her lineage, also her young age would make it possible to form her into a powerful weapon of the Village.
    However Amaya would disappoint her family due to her lack in desire to fight. While her calm personality made her the perfect host for the Nibi, she also rather talked problems out than use violence. For this she got sidetracked by her family and the focus went to her older brother who did have the desired power trades. The only reason Amaya didn't lose the Nibi was because her personality, as long as she remained calm, could keep the Nibi in check and out of the hand of others.
    In the hopes of gaining her fathers favor back, Amaya has been working very hard into becoming a competent Shinibo and has shown to have the skill and brains for it, but it has become hard to outshine her brother. Even though she has become a Jounin, her brother still is the favorite and Amaya is becoming desperate for attention from her parents. It is for this reason that she volunteered to go on a diplomatic mission to Chasms, in the hope of proving her worth and gaining her fathers favor.

    Appearance: Short and light in stature, Ara is somewhat androgynous. While there is still a slight sharpness to certain facial features that dictate his gender as male, his body is slender and soft, almost boyish. Though frail, there is a slight definition of muscle from his training, though it is not visible through his clothing. His features are delicate and precisely defined, special care obviously taken to avoid any blemishes or other abnormalities that would upset his appearance. For the inattentive, he could still be mistaken as a girl. His dark silken hair reaches to mid-thigh, though is almost always braided and hidden under his clothing. A shorter top layer gives him the appearance of having a bob otherwise. He has jade green eyes and pale skin..

    The expression Ara wears suggests an air of confidence, bordering on being rather smug, though his brows are always slightly furrowed as though vaguely annoyed. When speaking, his voice is sharp and smooth, easily penetrating other sounds. A clear tenor, it makes his exact age hard to determine.

    Similar to the rest of his appearance, his clothing is always clean, tailored to fit him precisely, and elegant. He wears few accessories except for a silver bracelet at times that has feather motifs etched into it.

    Bloodline: Cho -His Mark appears on his lower back.


    Notable Jutsu

    Takamori Seal: This Cursed Seal is given by Takamori Ara to all members of the Marked to ensure no information about himself or the organization falls into the wrong hands. When the wearer of this Cursed Seal speaks about anything incriminating related to Ara or the Marked, their entire body will be paralyzed, taking away their ability to speak or move. It is applied to the tongue and takes the shape of three solid lines and two broken lines from the back of the tongue to the tip.

    The seal can also applied during combat, and can secretly be placed on the opponent's body. When the user wishes it, the curse seal's marks spread around the opponent's body, paralyzing them. However, one can break free from the seal with a strong enough release of chakra.


    Puppet Curse: This seal can be activated long after the technique is first applied. The appearance is a red eye with another circle in it resembling the pupil, with four lines stemming from the upper line of the eye and two big thick lines stemming from the side of the eye. This power seems to control the minds of others, and operates much like someone controlling a puppet with hand motions to guide their body.


    Cursed Seals: Ara knows several Cursed Seals, most operating in a two stage form that greatly increases the chakra level and physical power of the bearer at the cost of the user's sanity and physical body due to the increased strain. Like most Cursed Seals, those that they are applied to opponents run the risk of death as the Seal itself forces chakra into the body. The application of these seals has a low success rate.


    Reverse Four Symbol Seal: This technique places a large four part mark across their chest, and sets it to activate upon their death. The technique releases four symbols from the user's body that then form a large, black sphere around them. Anything caught inside the sphere's area is then drawn in and sealed within the user's corpse.



    Special Abilities

    Juinjutsu and Fuinjutsu Specialty: Oddly, Ara's control over seals and bindings are quite potent though much like his other skills he rarely has cause to use them. For this reason few are even aware he possesses knowledge of this level or skill.


    Frail: Though not a special ability, Takamori Ara is quite frail and small. This is due in part to the Tailed Beast sealed inside of him.


    Jinchūriki: Takamori Ara is a host for a Tailed Beast, boasting increased levels of chakra. Due to his frail nature, he has little control over the Tailed Beast kept inside him and boasts little aid from the Beast itself outside of immense chakra. The Beast is known to be the Four Tailed Gryphon.



    Ninja Abilities

    Taijutsu: Takamori Ara's taijutsu is his weakest area, his body physically frail and unable to perform the exacting physical toll that many taijutsu require.


    Genjutsu: Takamori Ara's strongest field, he is quite potent in genjutsu though rarely has cause to use them.


    Ninjutsu: Similar to his genjutsu, Takamori Ara's ninjutsu is quite strong though has very little cause to utilize his powers.

    Growing up in the now dishonored, minor Takamori clan, Ara's childhood was not entirely carefree. He grew more distant and defensive around people and took poorly to criticism, which made it difficult for him to progress through training. His frail nature in combination with this steered him away from perfecting his taijutsu and eventually he was trained in a one-on-one environment, becoming the pupil of Mifune Akira after the other two of his genin met unfortunate ends.

    He grew even closer attached to Mifune Akira after the rest of his direct family members were assassinated or otherwise disappeared, leaving him alone and in charge. He has come to rely heavily on Akira's guidance and leaves it to him to carry out most of the work. However, he does travel together with Akira, seeking out the others of the bloodline to try and reunite them under the common banner of the Takamori family and rebuild it.

His hair is a shadowy black and cut short, his eyes shrouded in black glasses, his Chasms forehead protector worn around his left bicep.

    Earth Release: Solid Spike
    A stone spike is forcibly extended from a surface of rock, dirt, mud, sand, etc. It is primarily a utility jutsu, which provides new positions and obstacles on the battle field, but can easily be used offensivly. The spikes can usually reach about two meters in height and half a meter in diameter at the maximum.

    Earth Release: Flurry of Stones
    Stones of various sizes, ranging from fist to pebble sized, are forcibly launched upward from the ground in a funnel shape. A forceful offensive technique, it can be placed in a paper tag to be used as a a trap. The spray is quite painful and forceful, but easily avoidable.

    Earth Release: The Land's Betrayal
    A powerful technique, the surrounding land is shattered. It becomes pockmarked with craters and fractures. It is incredibly sudden and difficult to escape if you are in the "disaster zone" but it drains a large amount of chakra. The more chakra pumped into the technique, the larger the radius.

    Betrayal of the Senses
    A series of genjutsu techniques that work in taunting and cutting off the senses. It mainly works in sight and hearing, but can work in other senses.. His most prominent techniques include Betrayal of the Senses: Resounding Echoes which causes every sound to echo constantly, and then Blinding Shadows, which darkens the targets vision till it's almost pitch black.

    Single Strike Style
    A taijutsu style that works with parrys and blocks, until they can use a single powerful strike to debilitate a limb or take out the opponent. It is simple and only takes patience and timing.

    Kenshin has a strong grasp of his senses in the dark. His long time spent in caves has honed his senses to be phenomenal in the dark, strong light is a pain however.

    Appearance: Chisiro is an exceptionally old man, whose body is almost literally wasting away. He wears a slightly loose robe with an absurdly high collar (about five inches higher than his head), which is left open at the front. The robe is an unrelieved black on the outside, and a similarly plain white on the inside. His face is emaciated to the point where some of the bones actually stick out through the skin. Chisiro wears a forehead protector over his eyes, with a rogue slash as its only marking. Though you can't be sure due to it's disfigurement, the face appears to have no emotion, even in the heat of combat.

    Bloodline limit: None.

    Special abilities:
    Eyeless: Being without eyes, Chisiro can not normally see. In addition to leaving him vulnerable to just about everything, Chisiro is immune to ocular genjutsu.

    Five-element release: Chisiro has, through a great deal of practice (using only one element for years at a time in full-on combat), mastered the water release and become almost as proficient with the other four basic elemental releases. He does not, however, naturally possess the elemental chakra for anything but suiton releases.

    Chakra seal: By use of this full-body seal, Chisiro can store chakra for later use.

    Summoning pact: Snake.

    Chakra sense: Chisiro relies on chakra sense to function, as it allows him to be aware of chakra nearby and thus estimate where objects are located.

    Crippled: Due to advancing age, Chisiro has lost many of his bodily functions.

    Low chakra: Due to advancing age, Chisiro has less chakra available than most.

    This is, or at least will be Chisiro's most powerful technique, for with it death itself can be defeated. This technique is nearly completed, thanks to the aid of the snakes. Already the Great White Snake is growing within Chisiro's body, preparing to take up his soul.

    Once he has successfully finished this technique, Chisiro will take up residence in, and ultimately become the Great White Snake. At this point, he will be able to leave his failing body and enter another, where the Great White Snake will grow anew, reaching maturity after three years. At that point, he will exceed the host's ability to sustain him, and must seek a new host.

    Chisiro was born in Kusagakure with a medical defect; he had no eyes. Despite this, as he grew up, he trained without relenting and insisted on being admitted to the academy. By the time he was admitted, he had in all practicality taught himself how to focus his chakra, and claimed to be able to feel others, even when they were across the room. Testing confirmed that he had the potential to be a sensory type, though he did not pursue it. He instead focused almost exclusively on being able to use ninjutsu.

    As a result, when he graduated he had already begun learning how to use water releases, and because he was constantly using it, he had a rather larger chakra pool than average. When he was not out on a mission, he would often go out and cut down trees for the village using concentrated streams of water, just to push his limits.

    Due to his power, he was accredited a chuunin only a year after leaving the academy, and three years later he was tested to become a jounin. He failed, due to being placed against a skilled wielder of earth releases during the final test. This did not discourage Chisiro, however, and he immediately set out to learn how to use lightning releases. In this, he was not successful, and it was discovered that he only had water releases available to him. His instructor, understanding the distress that was evident on his face, suggested that he take a different approach; "If you need have something done, and can't do it yourself, then it is prudent to ask someone else to help."

    This kindly instructor gave him several scrolls which, when properly activated, would release a technique prepared by someone else. This satisfied Chisiro for a time, especially since he found a way to modify the technique that his instructor had taught him so as to use one of the scrolls to create several copies. While this was enough to get him counted as a jounin at a very young age, it was not enough to satisfy Chisiro's wish to attain power. He wanted to know every technique in existence, not just use what techniques others decided to give him.

    Chisiro began a long series of experiments and extensive research into sealing techniques, with the goal of attaining more flexibility with his scroll techniques. In time, through very careful alterations he became able to alter the effects by slightly altering the seal. This also made the technique slightly more open to Chisiro's chakra. Intrigued, he followed this path, and at the age of thirty-two, he made a great breakthrough: by setting up a second seal on his body, he could extract the chakra stored in the scroll and use it as his own. With this breakthrough, Chisiro was counted among the very few ninja who could use all five elemental releases, and was promptly promoted to a younin and his existence concealed.

    Throughout his five years as a Kusagakure younin, Chisiro continued to notice things that displeased him, and ultimately resulted in his leaving the village. Little things, like the assassination of undesirable figures, and the the constant petty feuds fought between the village and others. If one wishes to do battle, they should engage with their full force and be done with it, rather than letting the anger simmer for years. Thus it was that when Chisiro himself was sent to assassinate a rising political rival to his master, the death took the form of a massive fireball rather than a knife in the sleeping heart, and Chisiro did not return to his quarters after the deed was done. Worse still for the village leader, the man who supposedly died in that fireball emerged several months later to renew his campaign with the advantage of knowing a host of secrets hidden by the government.

    For a time, Chisiro wandered between the villages, acting as a mercenary, bounty hunter, and teacher intermittently. This allowed Chisiro a wealth of insights into the way that other hidden villages did things, and he found them no more tasteful than that of the village he had abandoned. And so Chisiro grew apart from the general world of ninja. He would drift from conflict to conflict, engaging and destroying any and every combatant in the area. It was during this period that he adopted his characteristic forehead protector: A blank metal plate with a horizontal slash through it. Also, during this period, he made contact with beings from the Seas of The Six Sages, namely the snakes. With the snakes, he made a contract. In exchange for the assistance of these snakes, he would give them the souls of all that die by his hand.

    After an age spent killing, and learning, Chisiro came to realize something: though he had never been very fast, his body was simply not moving with any real speed. When he asked about it, he was told that it was a common phenomena: he was getting old. He was told that he would likely die from it before long. Chisiro, at the youthful age of 89, was not quite ready to accept that. He liked living, and so he turned to the hidden snake for help. From them, he learned that there was a way to defeat death.

    So it happened that Chisiro moved on from his latest battefield and began to set up a small hideaway in the red beans country, where he could be untroubled by war and assassins. Thanks to the extensive collection of ninjutsu, and the plentiful supply of chakra from hunter ninja, he was able to complete a modest outpost where he could conduct experiments in relative peace. Now, two years later, his research is nearly complete. All it needs is a few more materials, and his ultimate technique will be completed...

    Village Hidden in the Light

    This unique building is hidden under the border between the Red Beans country and the Wind country. Though it serves no country, it could be considered a hidden village in that its owner grants refuge to any rogue or missing ninja that asks for it, and occasionally they will answer a mercenary or assassination contract.

    It has a sustainable water supply in the form of an underground river that runs beneath the village, and holds a good supply of food in the event of a siege. The food that sustains the villages few inhabitants (its population, not counting prisoners, numbers in the double digits) is purchased privately from the Hidden Chasm and Hidden Sand, though attempts at agriculture in the local area have been made.

    "Village" Leardership and Ninja
    The village is nominally led by its Kyoutokage (rebel shadow, as near as I can tell), Uragoto Chisiro, since he created the building, though any actions the village takes are usually taken independently of him. The ninja are quite independent, and maintain the right to leave and return to the village at any time. Since the village is reasonably safe from hunter ninja, the rogues tend to stay within its confines and will usually put in some work to make sure that the village is not destroyed and that they don't starve to death.

    The village ninja tend to fairly skilled, having survived long enough to join the village, and come from a wide array of locations and have a wide mix of aptitudes. There are even a few ronin staying in the village, though they tend to stay separate from the twenty-something other inhabitants.

    Local Myths
    Aside from the occasional rumor that a nearby village is mounting an expedition to destroy them, and the well known rumor that Chisiro is working on something dangerous (substantiated by the inhuman noises that tend to come from his labs), the village has not been around long enough to generate its own mythology.

    Relations with the Other Villages
    The village avoids all contact with the other villages, and aside from the occasional hunter ninja the other villages have done the same. Essentially, the Hidden Light is trying to avoid letting other villages know that they exist, and the Hidden Villages apparently aren't aware that the village is anything other than a small gathering of relatively peaceful rogues.

    Notable Locations
    Hidden Entrance: This entrance is sealed by a powerful ninjutsu. Anyone who wishes to enter must perform a series of handseals to disable it before entering or be subjected to a light bright enough to temporarily blind someone with their eyes closed. They still fall through the disguised shaft, but the light signals anyone in the area to bind whomever just fell. This light is not visible from the surface

    Main Area: This labyrinthine set of corridors constitutes the majority of the village, containing small storehouses, living areas, a limitless supply of torches, and access to most other areas.

    Chisiro's labs: Entrance to this area is only allowed if one is personally escorted by the Kyoutokage. The area is filled with the byproducts of indescribable experiments, with those that still live being very carefully restrained.

    Holding area: Access to this area is restricted, and holds all live prisoners. Though bindings are used, they would not stop any ninja with a serious intent to escape. This is accomplished by fear: the ninja was most likely blind on coming in, and it is said that people are taken to the labs based on their attempts to escape. The screams from those labs can echo in the prison for hours...

    Arena/training area: As the major form of recreation, ninja of the Hidden Light fight each other while others watch in this area, and when such an event is not occurring the arena is used for training. The arena consists of a massive circular cavern lit by a large blue crystal hang from the middle of the ceiling.

    Appearance: Kousen is a tall man, his musculature is quite on the lean side, more suited to quick strikes than power and strength. While he appears to be on the thin side, his tan skin covers a muscular and fit body. Kousen has many scar on his body, each one with a story behind it, the biggest one going diagonally from the front of his right shoulder across his right pectoral, finishing on the left side of his torso.
    He wears his long black hair (just a bit shorter than mid back) in a high ponytail, with bangs framing his angular face. Hie eyes a dark blue with a greyish tint to them.

    He wears the standard shinobi gear consisting of dark blue form fitting pants, taped to his ankles with black tape, a sleeveless shirt, covered by a dark grey vest. Instead of wearing the "standard" shinobi sandals, Kousen wears dark blue tabi.

    His arms are covered by metal braces that go from his elbows to his hands; this metal braces have two purposes, one protecting his arms ( his taijutsu style involves blocking a lot with his arms; so minimizing injuries is a priority) and the second one to house a pair of blades from his design, they are have a groove on the middle to channel his poisons to the tip, ensuring a light scratch is enough to deliver death.

    He wears his Chasm headband proudly tied around his left biceps, he also usually uses a scarf to conceal his face when needed.

    Kousen is always carrying his preferred weapons with him, a pair of daggers sheathed firmly secured to his lower back; and a kusari-gama tied around his waist.

    Personality:
    Gesshoku Kousen, is a reserved, serious and thoughtful person. While he appears intimidating due his stoic demeanour; but he is a good guy (though with a snarky/sarcastic streak, that sometimes gets mean) that only wants to protect his village and the few people that he considers close to him.

    His tries to be a practical and methodical person, he tries to finish things as fast and perfectly as possible; this extend to all the facets of his life be it, his training, his missions, or his personal projects.

    All his seriousness and snarkiness are a cover up for an inquisitive and curious mind, having been brought up in a metal forge, Kousen developed, what he calls his "inner scientist", when he is not training or on missions he is frequently working on some new weapon design or innovation for them. He is quite proud oh his gauntlets, which he designed and built completely from the ground.

    Coupled with this, he has an interest in the science of poison-making and just after passing his Chunnin exam; he discovered the allure of sealing arts. His current project involves a combination of all his interest, trying to develop a way to enhance weapons using seals and poison.

    Bloodline:
    The Gesshoku family, posses a bloodline limit which allows them to combine the elements of fire and lightning, producing plasma. This bloodline limit also gives them a strong affinity to both of the elements that composes the plasma. Depending on the specific member, this affinity might slant towards either of them, but despite tha,t all the Fire or Lightning jutsus a Gesshoku clan member utilises are more powerful than the norm.

    Surprisingly Kousen's affnity is winds, which suits his close combat style perfectly. He usually covers his blades with wind chakra to sharpen and make them loner, while making them much more deadly. When fighting with his Kusari-gama, he usually covers the length of the chain with lightning chakra, which allows him a finer control of the weapon.

    As a secondary ability, the members of the Gesshoku clan have extremely good vision, even when the lightning conditions are not ideal. It is said that this ability to see even in the complete darkness of the a lunar eclipse, gave the clan it's name.

    The ultimate ability of the bloodline, the creation of plasma, which allows him to combine the best of both chakras, the piercing and fast properties of lightning with the range and destructiveness of the fire. Allowing him to perform extremely powerful and devastating jutsus. Kousen is well aware of this ability and while he undoubtedly has the skill to use plasma, he prefers not to, as it is too flashy and leaves too much collateral damage for an assassin like him.

    The bloodline limit manifest itself when a a Gesshoku utilizes it as a soft redish or bluish glow in the eyes of the ninja.

    Notable Jutsu:
    • Bringer of Darkness jutsu: A genjutsu which essentially blinds his enemy, he usually utilizes it in his assassinations
    • Wind Release, great breath trough: One of his staples jutsus when encountering enemies on open battlefield,s allowing him to disrupt them
    • Poison Mist jutsu: A natural extension of his poisoneer abilities, he uses it as an opener to battles
    • Drilling Bullet: A standard wind element attack.
    • Shocking Grasp jutsu. A low-level raiton technique which amplifies his own bio-electricity to deliver a nasty shock . He uses his bloodline to extend this ability to cover his weapons
    • Body flicker technique: A high speed movement technique, that has saved his life in more than a few occasions.
    • Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique: His prefered fire technique, he primarily use it as a distraction maneuver.
    • He is quite proficient with the standard transformation technique, substitution and clone technique, being able to do them single hand.


    Special Abilities:
    Kousen has a deep understanding of human physiology and knows many of the pressure points on the human body, though his knowledge is not as thorough and precise as the Hyuuga's.

    Plasma Release: His family bloodline limit, which gives him excelent control over his wind natured chakra, and allows him to use the destructive plasma techniques.

    Trained in the Silent killing techniques, Kousen is extremely adept at stealth attacks and ambushes, he is not as proficient with this technique as some of the ninjas from Kirigakure; but his still a force to be rockned with, specially under dark conditions, all thanks to his bloodline.

    He is an adept metalsmith, and he has forged quite a bit of his own weapons.

    Taijutsu skills: Kousen utilises a taijutsu style which focus on quick strikes to the most vulnerable part of the opponents' bodies. The style uses legs and arms almost equally and it is also quite acrobatic, with the intention of using all the space allowed on the battlefield.
    Despite his adeptness at Taijutsu, He prefers to fight with weapons when he is able to. His preferred weapon being a pair of curved daggers, with a modified Kusari-gama a close second. He usually switched the weapon he uses depending on how his enemies fight.

    Appearance: Jun is an...odd sight to most people, there's no denying that fact. She has blond hair cut in a short bob cut, is normally dressed in blood-stained surgical scrubs or a light shift that likely has blood-stained surgical scrubs concealed underneath. The medic-nin is slight of frame, almost willowy, and is pale, but none of this is what really makes people stop and stare. What people stare at is the fact that her body is covered in large surgical scars that always seem to be fresh and the fact that she has four arms instead of two. Not vestigial limbs either, but two normal-sized extra arms that are just as mobile and dexterous as her primary arms. It's only after people have stopped gawking at those tidbits, something she occasionally grows tired of, that they notice her care-worn face (the face of someone who's getting far too little sleep but is still very active) or how world weary her gray eyes are. Jun is a woman who always seems to be teetering on the edge of exhaustion, but never takes that final step.

    Personality: Jun, against all odds in the shinobi world, is a pacifist. While, in theory, she has dangerous combat abilities, she only uses them to avoid conflict, end it non-violently, or to escape if she finds herself embroiled in a fight. She much prefers to be standing on the sideline, patching up her comrades then to be in the thick of things and doesn't rile easily. When not on task, she is a doting mother to both her actual child and to the members of the Takamori clan. They are often partial to her gentle bed-side manner that often includes motherly treatment such as getting home-cooked meals and so on, but also must deal with the flipside that she'll often break up arguments and arguments in a manner that is most humiliating to both parties. More then one fully grown ninja has been sent back to his or her quarters with no supper, only to wonder in confusion to themselves why they had listened in the first place. She is, to put it simply, a mother to her comrades and acts like it.

    This doesn't change the fact she actually is the mother of a six-year old son who she spoils terribly. In fact, the only way to get a true rise out of Jun and provoke her to break her pacifist ways is to threaten or commit physical harm to her dear Lu Hao. Many often wonder why she works for the Takamori Clan, but her reasons are known only to herself and the clan's leader...

    Bloodline: Jun possesses no kekkei genkai, but she does bear a rare mutation that has given her two extra appendages that she puts to excellent use.

    • Chikatsu Saisei no Jutsu (Healing Resuscitation Regeneration Technique) - This jutsu uses a part of the patient's body as a medium to heal their wounds. A large, square seal is drawn on the floor and the patient is placed at the center. Four medical-nin then sit at the corners and one at the head to lead the operation and depending on the severity of the wound, may have to concentrate for several hours on healing the wound. The medical-nins on hand actually have to trade places after tiring, indicating just how long it takes. Jun isn't capable of performing this jutsu by herself, but she has both the stamina and skill to lead the operation without swapping out with a replacement, assuming she has four trained medic-nin to assist her.
    • Shōsen Jutsu (Mystical Palm Technique) - This medical ninjutsu allows Jun to speed up the body's natural healing process by sending chakra from her hands into a wound or afflicted body part. This allows Jun to heal a patient without the need for medical equipment or surgery, making it highly useful on the battlefield. It can be used to treat both external and internal injuries. It is vital to match the amount of chakra used to the severity of the affliction or injury. This requires a great amount of chakra control. By sending an excess amount of chakra into the patient's body, Jun can overload the patient's normal circulation, trapping them in a comatose state for a time. Normally, Jun avoids doing this, but when pressed she considers this a valid alternative to actually harming an opponent
    • Ranshinshō (Important Body Points Disturbance Technique) - By converting her chakra into electricity and striking the enemy, Jun is able to disrupt the signals that are sent from the brain to the opponent's nervous system in order to function. For example, if someone tried to move their right arm, a different part of the body would move in the way they wanted their right arm to move. However, the victim can partially overcome the technique if they manage to relearn the connection between their brain and their limbs. This feat however is not an easy one and takes a high amount of concentration and intelligence.
    • Shikon no Jutsu (Dead Soul Technique) - Using this jutsu, Jun can temporarily reanimate a corpse, creating the illusion of a living person, and maneuver it at will with chakra. This is achieved by causing the heart to beat once more for a short time. The reanimated corpse can serve as either a short-time ally (though one that can't use jutsu or bloodline abilities) or an effective decoy. The traces of surgery can also be erased with chakra, because of which there's no difference, at first glance, with a live person. Jun adds plastic surgery to this, altering the corpse's face, and goes even further by erasing its bodily odor, so that the smell doesn't give her away, thus creating an effective body double for herself or her allies.
    • In'yu Shōmetsu (Yin Healing Wound Destruction) - Jun concentrates chakra to a prepared area of the body and begins the cell recreation process even before the targeted area becomes damaged. The jutsu will continue to heal damage until Jun runs out of chakra, leaving the possibility that the damage will not be completely mended when the jutsu ends.
    • Kumo Arts (Spider Arts) - Jun has surgically implanted dozens, if not hundreds, of modified spider-silk producing glands into her own body, the end result being that she can produce unusually large amounts of webbing that can be used to subdue opponents as well as unruly patients in addition to other uses.


    Special Abilities:
    -Medical Genius: Jun is, to put it simply, a prodigy when it comes to medical matters. She's joked once or twice that even death is a curable condition for one of her aptitude but even her remarkable expertise in this matter is limited by her own personal ability (or lack thereof) and her relative ignorance when it comes to hijutsu and kinjutsu. Many a Takamori member owes their continued well-being to Jun's medical skills, jutsu or otherwise!
    -Speed: Jun, as befits a med-nin, is fast and her reflexes are utterly superb for a shinobi of her caliber. She avoids blows at all cost, mostly because she can't take very many in the first place.
    -Strength: Below average for a special jounin.
    -Chakra Control: Much like her speed, Jun has exquisite chakra control and is unlikely to 'waste' any in the course of avoiding a fight or using medical jutsu.

    Sumiko is a woman who doesn't try to keep from sticking out like a sore thumb, despite the large bounties placed on her head. She wears a red kimono that's trimmed in gold thread loosely about her curvy body, usually exposing quite a bit of distracting cleavage while allowing her a larger range of motion then a kimono would normally allow. Long blue-black hair is tucked back behind her ears with a wide sakkat pulled low over her face to keep it in place as well as to cast some shade over her rather pale face. Usually it's a bit flushed though, a result of constantly sipping from the jug of alcohol that bounces on her right hip. Sumiko has two swords belted on her flower-patterned obi, both with jade hilt-wraps, gold pommels, and iron sheathes. One is a kodachi while the other is a jagged edged katana with an unusual purplish hue to the metal. The katana also has a good luck charm dangling from the pommel, though it seems to change from day to day and those able to detect chakra can tell it's a shinobi tag of some kind.

    However, Sumiko's right arm (her primary one at that) is very peculiar and usually concealed within the voluminous interior of her sleeve if given the chance. When exposed though, one can see the steel-plated running along the entire length of the limb, while those paying closer attention can tell that it's actually fully articulated and artificial, a puppet prosthetic. It looks to be made out of metal, meaning it's probably quite heavy on it's own. Her left arm bears the symbol of her former buke branded unto it, the Crimson Leaves symbol burned unto fair skin.

    Sumiko is well known as a very...money-fixated individual. It's a popular joke among her friends that she'd charge someone dying of thirst in the desert for a sip of her water and it's not entirely un-true either. She'll charge someone for performing even the simplest of tasks for them, though it's never more then they can afford nor enough that the person will be unwilling to pay (she has a lot of experience in gauging people in other words). That said, she's still a remarkably friendly individual and gets along well with others who can see past her notorious reputation and criminal acts, often becoming a close confidant for her friends and allies. As a ronin, she still bears some of the marks of samurai culture on her bearing, finding herself uneasy around shinobi and shies away from combat with them when she can avoid it. A laid back individual, Sumiko is fond of drink, narcotics, and gambling though she's good enough at the latter that she can make a small living doing so.

    In combat, many people who were expecting the vice-filled Sumiko find themselves sorely disappointed. If it's a fight about something precious to her, or infringes on her bushido, she's a tenacious and dangerous combatant who doesn't let up until the fight is over. She prefers to end such conflicts swiftly and brutally, as a deterrent to others who'd challenge her or the Natsuhiboshi. As their generally accepted leader, she bears some fondness for it's members and always looks out for their best interests, even if they sometimes don't see it at the time.

    Bloodline: Sumiko doesn't have a shinobi kekkei genkai, but it's rumored that she is the product of one of the samurai's inheritor programs. She has never confirmed or denied this herself.

    Notable Jutsu:
    • Master of Iai - "From silence to silence, from stillness to stillness." Sumiko is a genius at the art of drawing her sword, striking her enemies, wiping away their blood and return it to its sheath so quick its hard for eyes to follow. Many claim she's even deflected arrows or cut men in half while appearing implacable. She can also combine Iaijutsu with other jutsu for devastating effect as well as, in the right conditions, interrupt a shinobi in the middle of forming hand seals though this takes quite a bit of energy from her and she needs to be rather close.
    • Rippling Blade - By shaking her arm, Sumiko can blur the form of her sword so that its hard to see where exactly the blade is moving. She utilizes this effect to create elaborate feints and counter-strikes.
    • Rain of Blades - Through creative use of Rippling Blade and channeling chakra to her arms to make them more flexible, Sumiko can perform a rapid series of stabs which looks like multiple blades striking at once. Because more than half of these strikes are illusory after-images, this jutsu is very hard to block.
    • Blade Roulette - This, frankly suicidal, technique is one that Sumiko developed herself to take advantage of her impressive strength and agility. She closes with an opponent as quickly as possible before sending her sword spinning up into the air as a distraction before grabbing hold of her opponent. Then she waits until the blade has almost fallen upon the entwined duo before pushing off and praying for the best. Unsurprisingly, she's found no 'students' willing to learn this dangerous maneuver.
    • Wholeness of Spirit - The depth of Sumiko's faith can be seen in her connection with the Natsuhiboshi and with her jagged, well-worn katana. Such faith has kept the blade from shattering when it otherwise would have and, in truly desperate situations, Sumiko is capable of wielding the sword as if it's extension of her own body to devastating effect. However, this forbidden technique is very damaging upon Sumiko's own body and is thus only suitable for only a couple of strikes before her own life is in danger.

    Ninjutsu:

    Taijutsu/Kenjutsu:
    Swordman first and foremost, Sumiko's greatest ability naturally lies with the blade. She's a fearsome close-combatant, even if unarmed, and possesses astounding strength and agility for her frame. She also has a very versatile fighting style, combining bits and pieces from various styles as she sees fit into one erratic, but comprehensive whole.

    Bushido: Despite having been seperate from the Land of Iron for some time, Sumiko's sense of duty hasn't wavered...just it's recipient. She's capable of astounding feats when defending the Natsuhiboshi or her way of life.

    Special Abilities:
    Artificial Arm: Sumiko lost an arm to Mushu sometime ago and, instead of learning to use her sword with her other arm (as most self-respecting samurai would have done), she had it replaced. The puppet arm is heavily armored and is quite useful for blocking small thrown weapons or melee weapons, though she's also used it to clobber disruptful members of her organization as well, earning her the joking moniker 'Iron Fist'. What most people don't know is that this artificial arm usually carries a weapon of one sort or another, changed often to confound enemies. At different times Sumiko's puppet arm has contained a senbon cannon, a net cannon, a chakra shield, or even smoke bombs laced with airborne sedatives. ((OOC: It's usually the first, mention will be made if she changes it))

    Strength/Speed: Sumiko is quite strong and fast, as befits her training as a samurai and has no problem keeping up or out-muscling the average shinobi or samurai of equivalent power to herself.

    Gambling Face: Sumiko is an experienced gambler and is adept at reading people to tell if they are lying or not. It's unknown if there's any connection between being a gambler and this, but Sumiko has also shown she's capable of sensing chakra.

    Neku is of average height, and fairly slim for his age. His eyes are heterochromomatic, one a bright orange, the other a light, light blue. He has messy brown hair, some of which falls in front of his face, most of which just refuses to lay flat, particularly several strands on the top of his head, that angle upwards.     Neku isn't very outgoing. He's shunned by his peers due to his different colored eyes, and his rather bored expression enrages those who know him. When he does speak, he's revealed to be excited by the prospect of a mission, and is eager to learn from those who teach him.

    When Neku Akimoto was born, people knew he would be a ninja. From his relatives, to his different colored eyes, to his fierce drive towards becoming the best, things were expected of him. Neku entered the academy at an early age, being merely six, and from when he entered to when he exited, he was ignored by the teachers. They assumed he was a prodigy, because he quickly grasped his chakra, and they believed his parents would train him.

    His parents did not. They wanted their son to be his own person, graduate on his own merit. They felt slightly ashamed when they discovered their son's grades. He was barely scraping by in every class. The six year old protested, saying his teachers ignored him. His parents refused to believe him, as they were trained quite well. The entire first year of Neku's training was a hellish circle, of him barely passing, and his parents demanding why. Years went by. It was indeed, a circle of arguing between Neku, his parents, his grandparents, and the academy. All of whom thought that he was being trained, while the boy read everything he got his hands on to train himself.

    Last year, his parents were killed while on a mission, and Neku was left alone. He refused help from his relatives, and lived on his own, in a small apartment. He taught himself, the teachers continuing to ignore the boy who was proven to not be a prodigy. He did graduate, however. He graduated, out of the twenty-seven people who became genin, in the 27th slot.

    Dead last.

    Despite his unremarkable scores, Neku did have a few talents. The boy had a talent for ninjutsu, and excellent aim on kunai and shuriken, as well as a secret obsession with swords.


    Bloodline: Neku has no Bloodline. He has an intense hatred for those that flaunt theirs though.

    Ninjutsu: Tatsushageki: [One handed Tiger] Neku's personal technique, one he developed using a pure basic knowledge of chakra control. Compressing his chakra into a small ball on his hand, he tosses it at an enemy, releasing it as it gets close to cause a massive explosion. Can only use it twice before collapsing from lack of chakra.

    Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Neku has a contract with snakes, allowing him to summon them. He discovered a scroll that detailed the summons once while reading, and thought it was 'pretty cool.'

    Senai Jashuu: Summons shadowy snakes into his sleeves, which can attack what they wish. The only jutsu the snakes felt like imparting on their hapless contractee.

    Genjutsu: Neku has a mild understanding of Genjutsu, enough to gently manipulate people. This goes badly, as all he knows is what he taught himself through books and such, and he's more likely to catch himself in the Genjutsu then his opponent.

    Taijutsu: Akai Kitsune Style: Neku prefers to fight with cunning. Akai Kitsune maximizes on his slight build, as it requires quick movements, and a keen eye for your opposition's style. Akai Kitsune is sometimes called the Dancing style, as the users prefer to use acrobatic dodges and attacks, maximizing on their skill and speed, rather than their power.

    Appearance: Nia is a tanned kunoichi almost always seen in green kimonos or grey robes made for mobility and silently sneaking around in forbidden gardens.

    Nia usually wears her elbow-length black hair loosely, only trying to keep it out of her green eyes when stressed or in battle, and coupled with her content smile and lax posture she looks less like a Missing-Nin and more like she knows, that while her... talent, may be more modest than some travelling kunoichi, she is still far from unattractive and won't shy away from using that to trick you from a sake or three.

    The only details that revels her past and heritage are her long canines and the cut-through Suna headband tied around her waist.

    Personality: Cheery and oftentimes very lazy, Nia is far from the typical Missing-Nin and has even been known to partake in vigilante heroism at the rare time she actually interferes.
    Nia loves the travelling life and it's unpredictableness, preferring to stay in the now over dwelling on past or future.
    She does have her history, though, one that weighs pretty heavy on her. But few know much about it.

    Bloodline: The Akuma line has no actual Kekkei Genkai but have all been noted for great skills at taijutsu and great agility. Many share Nia's longer canines and contract with the Cat summons as well.

    Notable Jutsu:
    • Ocelot's dance: A taijutsu style based on using chakra-heightened reflexes and mobility to evade attacks and overcome the opponent's defences with a flurry of blows rather than one strong hit.
    • Futon kaze no yaiba: A simple Futon jutsu that uses wind chakra focussed at the users fingertips to create a long range blade of wind.
    • Cougar's dance: A similar style to the Ocelot's dance based on heightening the users speed as much as possible at a loss of accuracy and control.

    Special Abilities:
    • Master at Taijutsu and evasion: Exactly what it says on the tin
    • Cat summoner: Nia is contracted with the Cat summons.

    Appearance: A skinny boy for his age and height, Simisara has blue eyes and blonde hair that is so bleached it is practically white. To tell the truth, he's fairly normal and he really doesn't stick out in a crowd. He loves wearing very casual clothing, no matter how inappropriate such attire might be at the moment.

    Bloodline: The Kanakada clan is known for their specialty in Ice-type jutsu. While not an overly powerful or prominent clan, the Kanakada still manage to hold their own in the world of Shinobi. Simisara posseses the Kanakada bloodline's Kekkai Genkai, Aisuketsueki. While being cold blooded may not sound all that helpful, the Aisuketsueki can be very powerful when used by a skilled ninja it can be used to give off auras of cold, or even freeze anyone who touches the users skin. Simisara has absolutely no skill with his Aisuketsueki yet, and thus only gains cold internal temperatures from it at the moment. He is training to master his own techniques and jutsu using it, as far off as that may be.

    Notable Jutsu: •Frostbite Jutsu: Simisara has named his particular preferred form of ice style jutsu Frostbite Jutsu. He breathes cold air from his mouth, freezing an area. He needs to work on the duration, effective distance, and power of this jutsu.

    •Iceform Jutsu: This jutsu, while not his jutsu of choice, is still, interestingly enough, the jutsu he uses first in battle. It allows him (currently) to form a katana out of very strong ice. He is working on creating other weapons as well.

    Special Ability: •Meteorology: Taught to him by his mother, Simisara has good sense of weather and how to predict it. He's not 100% perfect, in fact far from it, but you know, it can still prove useful.

    •Extreme Temperatures: Due to the nature of the Kanakada's cold blooded Kekkai Genkai, Simisara can withstand intense cold.

    Backstory: Born to the Kanakada clan, Simisara was expected to do great things for the clan and unlock all kinds of potential with the Kekkai Genkai. Simisara didn't see any of this. As far as he could tell, he was just any ordinary boy with no skill in using the Aisuketsueki. Still, his clan insisted, telling him he was just young, and as he aged, he would grow into the fine man and shinobi everyone wanted him to be. So he joined the academy (the ninja one, not the soul reaper one) and began his training. Throughout his time in the academy, Simisara continued to see nothing that set him apart from anyone else. In his mind he was totally average. Recently, he graduated from the academy and was named a Genin. He still is waiting for all the greatness his clan says he can achieve.

    APPEARANCE: Tall for his age and made of entirely lean muscle, Yoshiro has a pale complexion that makes it appear that he doesn't get out much. His face is thinly drawn, with dark brown eyes that one could be forgiven for thinking they were black. His hair appears black, but has a reddish tint in sunlight, and is split into two long locks that frame his face, the rest cut short and slightly spiked. For clothing, he prefers wearing long white pants, and a sleeveless black coat with a high-rising collar that surrounds his head and obscures his face from view from the sides and back.

    PERSONALITY: Yoshiro is a fun-loving boy at heart, but is conflicted. While his generation of siblings have all been fantastic scholars and instructors, none have become truly great ninja. This has led him to be forced to take on the responsibility of becoming the next great ninja of the Takagawa clan. He keeps up a thin veneer of maturity and responsibility, but hidden just underneath is a boy that's desperate to make friends and be a kid. He tries to keep up the veil, however, and tends to alternate back and forth between focusing on his goal and focusing on having fun.

    HISTORY: Yoshiro has had little time to forge a story for himself, with all the intense training he's gone through, both from his instructors and from his self-proclaimed trainers, his brothers Riku and Tarou. He has had plenty of time to create strong ninjutsu for himself, but little time for being the child that he is.

    BLOODLINE: The Takagawa clan has produced many extremely proficient ninjutsu users, though in the last hundred years no such prodigal shinobi have been born. Beyond that their only claim to glory is their uncanny ability to recognize and remember faces, making them excellent detectives, spies, and diplomats.

    NOTABLE JUTSU:
    • Devil's Fang: Yoshiro's most powerful ninjutsu, a lightning-based attack he learned with the help of his older brother, Riku. Yoshiro directs his chakra to his right hand, forming a large knife-shaped concentration of lightning. It is a stabbing attack that Yoshiro uses when enemies have proven too powerful for him to defeat by any other means. At the moment extremely impractical to use, as the jutsu drains him of most of his strength and his lack of control tends to lead to burns on his arm. Only useful as a finisher or desperation attack.

    • Storm Whistle: Yoshiro's only ranged ninjutsu, so named for the whistling noise he makes through his hands as he makes the final hand sign to use it. A bolt of lightning cracks outward and strikes in a small area anywhere thirty feet or closer directly in front of him. Powerful, but draining like most lightning-based jutsu, Yoshiro tends to use it as an opening move or to force an enemy out of cover.

    • Cloud Cover--Lightning Strike: A dual-jutsu, Yoshiro's personal favorite. Cloud Cover is a taijutsu move that involves Yoshiro using some means to get behind his enemy, then attacking him with a flurry of blows to the back; the foe is then dropped to the ground by a spinning kick to the leg. Lightning Strike is the follow-up to Cloud Cover, a ninjutsu where Yoshiro gathers lightning chakra into his palm and drives it into the enemy's body while they are still on the ground, hopefully finishing them off. The least taxing of all Yoshiro's moves on his body, but more risky than basic taijutsu techniques and not worth the payoff against enemies with high endurance.

    SPECIAL ABILITIES:

    • Ninjutsu: Yoshiro's primary focus is on ninjutsu, his goal to become a master of the techniques. He has a lot of raw talent in ninjutsu, and shows promise, but has yet to truly tap into it without severely injuring himself in the process.

    • Genjutsu: Yoshiro has little time and little love for genjutsu, considering them to be dirty tricks not worthy of a true shinobi. He will fight the enemy head-on, or not at all. That, and he considers a direct fight to be far more entertaining.

    • Taijutsu: While not necessarily a focus of his training, Yoshiro's very physical fighting style has led to his skills in taijutsu developing immensely, putting him on par with some of the best genin in the village. But until he devotes serious time and effort into it, he is unlikely to develop beyond that level.

    SPECIAL ABILITIES:

    Photographic Memory "Wait, where have I seen your face?"
    Yoshiro, like all Takagawa, has the ability to remember and instantly recognize anyone he has encountered before, so long as their whole face or some distinctive feature of theirs is visible. Can also get lucky guesses on people with unique body types.

    Personality: Being a ninja for one year, as well as working on her family's farm for as long as she could remember, has shaped Yuki into a mature being. She is rather calm and, pardon the pun, down to earth. She does not tolerate laziness.

    Bloodline: Yuki's element is earth, as is her family's.

    Notable Jutsu: Yuki generally uses earth jutsu along with a pouch of soil she keeps at her belt. She uses this soil, as well as any other dirt in the area, to blind her opponents and to distract them as she attacks.

    Special Abilities: Yuki is a practiced user of taijutsu; her physical ability is rather strong. Her weakest area is genjutsu.

    Other Notes: Yuki has been a genin for one year. She lives half an hour outside of the village, on her family's farm.

    Hikari appears as a little girl with fiery red hair tied into twin braids. She wears black ribbons as accessories. She also wears a long-sleeved black dress with green trimmings and frills. The most notable quality of her's in this humanoid form is her inability to hide her cat ears and twin tails, a sign that she is not human. This is her humanoid form.

    In her Nekomata form, she resembles a pretty big black cat with red tuffs of hair behind her ears, and her twin black tails looks split and regrown as it joins at the tailbone.

    Hanabishi Hikari, or Nyan Nyan to her former master (long dead 300+ years ago) was once a household cat of shinobi origins. Her former master was a beast specialist ninja and has Hikari as her animal companion. Long time infusions of chakra and merging of bodies in various combination techniques allowed Hikari to eventually awaken and develop her own Chakra. After some time of self awareness and practice, Hikari's first technique, and subsequently refined so much that it becomes an innate ability, was to transform into a humanoid girl. This feat impressed her master, now aging, very much.

    Unfortunately, before her master could do more than begin basic chakra training with Hikari, he died of old age and accumulated injuries. Hikari mourned her master for three years, living in his home on a remote mountain during that period of time, pouring over his manuscripts and notes, trying to learn as much as she could.

    In due time, Hikari had learnt to read and write and developed her skills further, she realizes that her unique physiology gives her the opportunity to visit a Cat summoner clan and be endowed with a special place amongst them. Taking the time on a meditative retreat, Hikari is able to create the technique necessary to create contracts. Once created, she will be able to create a legacy that her master has inspired.

    Leaving the mountain, Hikari's travels brought her many experiences, but her lack of shinobi affiliations brings as much danger as the amount of freedom she enjoys, and after several hundred of years of training and cultivation, she feels that it is time to start forming contracts, and look for a new master.

She has a typically sullen look characterized by typical "catty" behavior, but her real mood is often anything but sullen. She is quick to anger, express her feelings and also quick to discharge them.

    Chakra: Fiery red with azure highlights. Chakra feels warmer the angrier Hikari is.

    Kagebunshin no Jutsu (Fire Edition): Hikari is capable of creating up to 7 clones of equal strength. This limit is not affected by any shinobi's attempts to summon Hikari to form a contract. Hikari is aware that someone has summoned her to form a contract.

    Cat Summoner Contract Technique: Hikari can summon a scrolls to perform the contract necessary. She remembers every summoner contracted on the scroll.

    Spiraling Ghost Fire Technique: Hikari can summon two azure orbs of fire that circle her, forming a sort of self-defense mechanism against melee attackers, attempting to burn them as they get close.

    Ghost Fire Amalgamation Technique: This technique negates the Spiraling Ghost Fire Technique. Hikari uses this to turn sheathe her body with azure flames, turning her form slightly incorporeal, helping her reduce incoming force and impact by about 10% and enhances her melee attacks with fire. Her fire element techniques gain a 25% boost in power.

    In this form, she is immune to fire and heals from fire attacks. Water element techniques deal extra damage and may prematurely cancel this technique.

    Summon Contract: Hikari can offer the summon contract to any Ninja, and so far is the only Cat summoner who can create a contract. Any attempts to summon Hikari for a contract creates a fire-based bunshin of her. She remembers all her contractors.

    Shapeshifting: Hanabishi Hikari can change her form to that of a humanoid or her original Nekomata form, or that of a black furred kitten. She retains all her skills and techniques regardless of any form.

    Genjutsu: Hikari has the ability to create mild illusions without forming seals or using techniques. This ability is about as powerful as creating ghost lights, or making an object look like another object of about the same mass or size. Actual genjutsu techniques comes easy for her.

    Taijutsu: The power of a nekomata is not to be underestimated. With sharp claws and powerful bestial instincts, aggression and strength Hikari is literally a beast to fight against with. But like beasts, her attacks are straightforward, with little feints or tricks but plenty of near-instant counterattacks and recoveries. Her taijutsu focuses less on punches and kicks, but more clawing, scratching and slashing with powerful claws.

    Ninjutsu: Hikari specializes in fire techniques, and is incapable of techniques of other elements, unless altered into her specialized element. She can use C rank Fire Release techniques and D ranks for everything else without an element specialization.
