Kirk wakes up with a groan. "Ugh, why did I have to drink so much. Someone could have put a knife in my back." Seems like he still thinks like a drow sometimes.

He drags himself out of bed and leaves the room. Or tries to. "Well at least I locked up." He unlocks the door and leaved the room then the cabin.

[Outside]

The drow squints at the sun and massages his aching head. He meanders in the general direction of the main lodge, looking miserable. But then he changes his mind. There was somewhere he had been meaning to go. So instead he leaves the camp.

[MAin Lodge]

Andy is still sitting in the main Lodge when R² (ReplacementRobot) comes. He got him some orders and R² gets off again.

[Morty]

"Oh, uh... thanks." Sarah says, smiling wider than ever. The little girl moves a bit closer to Reelshka. "Yeah, caretaker's really useful. Brinika said a nice girl built him, but she left 'cuz she didn't like Reinholdt." A pause. "Do you know why?"

[Outside]

Reelshka frowns and sighs. He did something very bad to her. That's all you need to know.

Meanwhile, Sophie is in the Main Cabin, hoping to talk to someone with knowledge of medicine or magic.

Andy is there he has basic medicin knowledge, but he is no specialist.

Din sits around near the lake, growing a patch of dandelions around her. she lets them bloom, and ripen their seeds quickly, so she can blow them out over the lake

Reelshka frowns and sighs. He did something very bad to her. That's all you need to know.

Meanwhile, Sophie is in the Main Cabin, hoping to talk to someone with knowledge of medicine or magic.

"Aw, c'mon. How am I supposed to learn anything if you won't tell me?"

Sarah... pouts and frowns up at Reelshka. Then she smiles again. Eyes shining. The goblin might suddenly feel a mild mental compulsion to tell Sarah anything she asks. A passive Suggestion ability, as it were. "Please? I'm just curious."

Reelshka blinks. Unfortunately for Sarah, while she doesn't have any sort of mental defenses, her natural stubborness makes her somewhat resilient to her tricks. I know you're curious, but that event was horrible and gruesome. Not something a little girl should know about.

Reelshka blinks. Unfortunately for Sarah, while she doesn't have any sort of mental defenses, her natural stubborness makes her somewhat resilient to her tricks. I know you're curious, but that event was horrible and gruesome. Not something a little girl should know about.

This only seems to make Sarah more interested. But she says, "Well... okay. But I wanna know more about the Nexus. The people, and the city, and... everything."

Din looks round "hey...I've not seen you before...I'm Din. I help out in the infirmary"

The 12-year-old-looking redhead smiles, and curtseys.
"It's nice to meet you. I'm Jamie - Jamie Misaki Catherine Druid."

Sophie considers asking Quinn about a substitute for blood for Olivia, but decides not to bother her.

Jamie giggles, then sobers. "Mom named me after her first love, somebody she cared about, and my dad's first true love," she says solemly. "That's mom." She nods to the unconsious Quinn. "And my dad is Tobias Druid, from Vulpania."

King Tobias, in fact, but she's not telling Din that.

There are a couple... Reinholdt, a vampire girl, some dark elf who showed up yesterday... I might be forgetting someone. Like Tobias, but she's intentionally ommiting him. Another of those things she doesn't think Sarah should hear.

Kirk's here, sitting leaning against the wall and playing his sax. It's not a peppy song, nor is it solemn though. He seems to be deep in thought, and looking much more tranquil than he has in the last week.

Kirk might spot a familiar neon woman approaching. Wearing her conservative outfit once more.

Feeling genuinely awkward, she stands to one side with a slanted stance. Quiet as she listens.

Kirk keeps playing, for just a little bit longer. He finishes the song and stands. "Hey Fettina. How are you doing?"

Only his fingers dancing across his saxophone give away his discomfort.

"Better." She says, peering at him. Straightening herself a bit. Then she decides to be forward about it. "Look, I came to apoligize. And to give you your stuff back."

"Don't apologize. I had the wanted to get you into bed, you wanted to rob me, we're even." He chuckles grimly. "You know what? Just keep the knives and lock picks. Sell them. I don't need them any more and you need the money more than I do. The pen and glasses I'd like back. I went through hell almost literally to get them and they aren't the best things to just be flo-" He cuts off.

"Sorry, rambling." He gives her an apologetic smile.

"Don't think I didn't want both." Fettina says, lacking most of the teasing tone one would expect. She reaches into her pack, retrieving his things and not even questioning his kindness anymore. "Take them. And... thanks. Again. But..." An awkward pause. "I'm not sure I wanna stay here."
