A stout humanoid can be see digging through a large chunk of rock. It is about the height of a dwarf, but much broader.

Gravs are short humanoids native to another world. They have gray, wrinkled skin, and (while being the same height) are wider at the shoulders than dwarves. Graves have large feet that resemble those of a pachyderm, and have flat heads.

Gravs can be found all over the Material Plane, in small ships that carry communities of them. For the most part, they are simple miners, who dig for metals and gems on far flung planets and asteroids. They usually disguise themselves as natives (often Dwarves) to trade their loot with natives.

Gravs are naturally psionic, which comes in handy when it comes to handling their massive vessels, which would otherwise be unable to function without their natural gifts. Gravs have a racial hatred of the Neogi, who at one point enslaved their entire race. It is unknown how the Gravs escape, but they have been on the run ever since. If asked, the Gravs will say that they have no homeworld. This has led some to believe that they are actually native to the Neogi homeworld, and that they fled centuries ago to escape oppression.

    Combat
Gravs would rather flee than fight, but if caught unaware, attack desperately. All Gravs are proficient with heavy picks, but some use their shovels as improvised weapons if necessary.

Psi-like Abilities: 3/day- Adapt Body, Wall Walker. Caster level 9th.

    Grav Racial Traits
Gravs have the following racial traits:
    • +2 Strength, -2 Dex, +2 Int
Medium Humanoid (Grav, Psionic): As medium creatures, Gravs do not have bonuses or penalties based on size.
    • Base Speed 20 ft.
    • Darkvision out to 60 ft.
    • +2 natural armor bonus
Psi-like Abilities: 3/day- Adapt Body, Wall Walker. Caster level 9th.
Naturally Psionic: Gravs are naturally psionic, and gain an additional 2 power points at 1st level.
Weapon Proficiencies: Gravs are always proficient with light and heavy picks.
Languages: Common, Undercommon. Bonus Languages: Terran, Dwarven.
    Favored Class: Psion.
    Level Adjustment: +1

Looks okay. I'd have to dig up my old Spelljammer Monstrous Compendium Appendixes to compare them to the 2e version but I love seeing Spelljammer stuff.

Got to say I tend to love your work.

    Thank you.

I was unaware that the Monstrous Compendium was meant to be a Spelljammer supplement, though. I guess that explains the load of space monsters, though.

I don't think the fluff exactly matches with the original, though.

Well there were a lot fo Monstrous Compendiums. I have a Dragonlance one, a FR one, 3 planescape ones, 2 Spelljammer ones (I think they're #9 and #11 but I haven't checked in years), monstrous compendium annual 3, and maybe one or two more I've forgotten about.

    I wouldn't know, I haven't read Gravs fluff in a decade.

Ok Ok we get it they are stout(so stout it had to be mentioned not once not twice but three times for good measure)

The caption with the picture says that they manipulate gravity (hence the name Grav) but I don't see anywhere in your description that they can do any sort of gravity manipulation.
Meddle not in the affairs of Dragons, unless you brought someone bigger and tastier along with you.

That is partially because of the original fluff, sorry. I'll edit my descriptions to be less.... redundant.

I gave it the wall walker power to emulate it. I'll add some fluff on that, too.

Well they have Wall Walker as a Psi-Like ability. Sort of gravity based I'd say.

    EDIT: Ninja'd

I didn't want to make it too powerful, so I gave it the wall walker power (that gives it an anti-gravity power, even if it only involves them).
