Well, Zoro will be regretting that comment when he finds out he can't hurt Buggy. And this is a nice mirror of the fact that mentioning Buggy's nose is a good way to trick him off.

So the fearsome pirate called Buggy is not really a lown but an elf with war paint and a swollen nose? My mind is blown

btw, anyone expecting notes on how Nami gets more and more mature as the comic goes on?

More mature? I don't know, I haven't noticed any particular kind of development yet. She seems to behave pretty consistently to me.

Ahem, i think he were refering to another kind of "mature", thats quite apperent if you compare her first apperance with the current version.

Try and compare This to This

Ah, I misread that. Pardon me.

Hey, Usopp looks kind of cool in those new threads. Here's hoping the Swedish translation gets there soon (I know, I know, but I started on it way back then and now I can't really imagine One Piece in English ).

Yeah, Usops makeover were defently the biggest improvement after the timeskip imo, though at the same time i hate what happend to Franky.

Also omg, people are actualy translating it over to swedish?

That seems pretty strange, when as far as i know, allmost all of you are proficient in english.

All the non-cyborg non-undead men got more muscular, but it was the biggest change on Usopp. Nami is definitely more mature. Robin looks like she discovered the fountain of youth.

I must say i really cant see the difference on either Zorro nor Sanji, though Luffy did indeed get a little more buff as well.

Sanji doesn't really look different except for the beard, but that might be because he always wears the suit. Zoro is definitely stockier.

You all ignore the fact that Sanji's hair style has changed! We now can see the formerly hidden eye. But yeah, apart from that... maybe a bit stronger, somehow but not by mush. Ussop and Franky are the BIG changes I guess.

Nami got some awesome Bluff checks, it seems. Luffy should try that as well once in a while.

So... why wouldn't it work? I'm not that much into the rules but you can fire a magic arrow from a magic bow, can't you? So why not a magic cannon ball from a magic cannon.
But the GM's pretty cruel if he's intending to just kill his players like that.

The enhancement bonus from a ranged weapon does not stack with the enhancement bonus from ammunition. Only the higher of the two enhancement bonuses applies.

Probably if the cannonball summoned a flock of doves and then cast Chained Detonate on them. That's about 200d6 damage.

If you're using enough 3rd party supplements, certainly. Using just WotC, probably.

Could I get that last panel seperate from the rest of the strip? I want to turn it into a demotivator about bluff checks.

    Gracefully. But of course.

These last couple pages have been really good! Good writing, good jokes, one-liners and cliff-hangers abound. You're really good at this!

Go right on ahead. Dunno if this one'll suffice, but extracting and enlarging it shouldn't be that hard if you wanna do it yourself.

Meh... just wanted to bring up the raccoon thing again to show that she's not that much different from the others. :p

Thanks! I had a lot more to work with, this time around. I've actually been worried that I might've made too large a buffer of comics that I'd be reluctant to change in response to feedback. ^_^

You know... even with his power I don't really see how Buggy could get more than that one surprise hit on Zoro. Not complaining about the comic, just wondering what with him being a pretty high tier swordsman and stuff. (Also, what will they pull to get Zoro to fight again later on? Natural regeneration?)
