"Officiant." Carl finishes. After a moment, Vasquez smiles a bit and nods. "If we do this, it'll have to done all the way. Dress uniforms, banquet, everything." She reaches out to squeeze Sunny's hand. "Don't worry about the costs. They'll be covered."

"One who is easily controlled. You however, are a different story, and subject to different standards. Besides, not knowing one person you attacked was ours, doesn't excuse you from attacking other civilians. Especially when you've admitted to such and we have evidence of you doing so."

"Yes yes, I know all that. I fail to see how actions against civilians would suggest any intention of any sort of action against the Remnant, as you've taken to calling yourselves. I'm not looking for an excuse here, and if you wish to imprison the white creation once we're done here, then so be it. But for you to be so paranoid as to assume I'd try something against the Remnant...it baffles me. Why would I do something like that? What purpose would there be in doing so, what would I gain from it? I'm not AMEN. I have no desire to control Inside."

After a lot of chit chat about wedding plans, Sunny abruptly changes the subject. "Where do you sleep?"

"It is our job to protect the people of Inside. Attacking any of them, is an action against us unless it is in self-defense."

After a moment, she sighs and shakes her head. "I don't." She admits. Carl's vanished sometime during the wedding talk wordlessly, having an errand to run.

"However you may have worded the laws, it does not change the fact that I did not attack the Remnant itself. Is there no one suitable to use as a live test subject? I'll quite happily put a set of eyes into any living being, and you'll see they're completely fine."

The one time Mortal Coil members stay silent before Bugs steps forward, an unspoken decision reached. "You will be escorted to the gates, where you will be free to go. Feia, you are in charge of making sure he, or his Creations, are not Inside. Those laws, are meant to protect everyone. Those with, or without guns. It doesn't matter what you think, but we will serve them."

Vasquez's Quarters

"I need it, but I haven't. Not for a long time, since this started." Vasquez says. "Drugs, spells, all sorts of things are keeping me going. There's too much to do."

"I don't think that's very good." Sunny says. "You need to sleep."

"You say you disagreed with your group's views. Why and what were they?" Jyarl asks, looking at the pair intently, examining them for anything that might say they are lying.

"You had described them as an extremest organization. I don't think I could put it any better. Nothing is really beyond them. Torture, chemical warfare. A recent project involved modifying pokeballs to brainwash the pokemon inside to turn on its owner. I can understand such methods myself, and can tolerate them, but there are limits. Limits that were frequently surpassed." Gustav explains.

Feia's gaze lazily slides over to Bugs, not appearing to have really been paying attention to the proceedings at all, looking more interested in the substance around her head.
But she was, of course, taking it all in. Very interesting information here.

"As you wish. A permanent ruling, I presume?"

Well...the situation rather suddenly got ugly, didn't it?

"What? Why bother with any of this at all if you were just going to ignore what I say and banish me anyway? I have no intention of attacking civilians again, I am not ignoring what I've done, and I am not challenging your laws. What I'm saying is that whether or not you consider attacking a civilian to be an attack on the Remnant, my reasons for attacking them were quite clearly not part of any scheme to do anything to undermine the Remnant's control over inside, or damage their armed forces. Hence, I do not understand why those attacks mean that you cannot trust me to provide you with eyes that aren't bugged. But if you've decided to throw me out instead of explaining yourselves so I can understand, then so be it."

The creation does look rather confused, as Affidavit has no idea why they've suddenly decided to go straight back to chucking him out. Still, at least it's not showing any sign of resisting.

"It is." Bugs says simply to Feia before he gives a dismissive gesture and Edijar tries to guide the White Creation towards the gate. "You have 24 hours before it goes into effect."

Geoff reaches to try and snag the papers from Feia. "These it?"

"Limits? Such as what?" Jyarl asks.

Vasquez's Place

"I should, but it's not possible at the moment." Vasquez tells her.

"Is so!" Sunny says stubbornly, crossing her arms.

"Limits. Morals. I tended to have a few more than others of my rank. Even so I would have to put them aside frequently." A slight frown colours Gustav's face. "You can understand why I took issue with it. Don't take me for someone who can't do what needs to be done, but I like to have some scruples."

Feia stares off after the creation, pondering how this is to be done.
"I shall put some measures into place."

Geoff moves in and the sorceress forks over the papers, turning her attention to him.
"The process for mental enhancement, yes. It will take two of your mages."
The spell for the mental enhancement itself is not so complex and one mage alone can handle that quite simply.
However, it is a temporary thing, so while he is casting that, the other mage must work in a partner spell to allow it a degree of permanence.
Also not a necessarily complicated part, alone, the trick is in getting it worked in a way that cannot simply be dispelled by another angry mage.
"I would recommend one of your more senior mages take part in the casting."

Oh no, Affidavit isn't going to fall for that. The creation ignores Edijar, heads straight over to the thing on the table, and reaches down. "I do hope you're right about them not feeling pain." 'cos he's about to yank those eyes out.

No way he's leaving his tech in the hands of these folks who aren't even willing to explain their reasoning.

"Uncooperative thieving bastards, the lot of you. At least the old empire was willing to work with anyone. You put the head of an entire criminal organisation in the council, and banish me for several attacks, only one of which did any lasting damage. No trial, no sense of fairness, it's a disgrace. I helped repel AMEN, I came here willingly, and I find my time wasted. I had no desire to see harm to Inside before, but I certainly do now!"

She sighs. "Sunny, you should know better than most people. Sometimes you just can't."

"I'm not questioning that. Everyone has limits. I'm just wondering what yours are."

Edijar steps between the Creation and the Simulacrum before he can pull out the eyes. "The eyes are the payment for your White Creation's freedom. For now, you're being allowed some leeway with interactions Inside, but continue with the threats and you won't be." He promises.

Geoff gives a glance at Edijar and Affidavit before giving one at Feia. She's expected to do a job, so she better do it, quickly.

Bugs gives a sigh and rolls his eyes. "There is another way. One that means you'll get everything back. Your freedom, no banishment, and even your Creation and the eyes, unharmed."

She sighs. "Sunny, you should know better than most people. Sometimes you just can't."

"If you break tomorrow because you didn't sleep today, everything will be worse. Maintenance is important."

Sunny is unconvinced.

Gustav nods. "It largely depends on the exact situation of course, but I can provide a few examples. Torturing a child as an extreme example, though I'm not fond of torture in general. Causing slow death. That in particular hasn't been something I've had to do firsthand. Biological warfare falls under that as well."

"I'd also like to mention my distaste for breaking or controlling the mind of another. Probing for information is acceptable, however." Mewtwo adds. Gustav gives him a slight frown. Seems they disagree on that matter.

Feia's a little rusty on that concept, glancing at Edijar before giving a rather sharpish whistle towards Affidavit.
"Come along, Professor. Creation's getting spared, so time to cut your losses."

Besides, he probably didn't pull most of his countermeasures out of this pair of eyes he used.
She's vaguely hoping he'll remember that enough to go along with this without too much more fuss.

No need for her to get rough with him, if she can help it.
The threat is there, however, in the little rime of ice along her hand gesturing towards the exit.

But then Bugs chimes in with something else, so the sorceress pauses with her planned nudging, peering over rather expectantly.
People need to make up their minds, she thinks.
"Or perhaps not."

She sighs and slumps a bit. Sunny may not know it, but she'd probably not take this from anyone else. "What do you suggest then?"

After a moment, Jyarl nods, writing down a couple notes on his board. "Very well. And what is it that you'd like to do here?" He asks.

Bugs gestures at the eyes. "4 hours with the eyes, using only non-invasive methods to test them. You can observe and nothing physically damaging or changing will happen to them. After which, you may take your eyes and your creations, and leave. You'll be allowed to be Inside with no interference from us as long as you stay within the laws."

"It's almost thirteen hundred. You have six hours to work, then at eighteen hundred, you sleep." Sunny says firmly.

Gustav nods to Mewtwo who speaks. "With Team Rocket we served as special operatives. Though my abilities are far from unique among pokemon, though I do have far finer and a broader range of powers. Telekinesis is by far the most useful of my abilities. I can also read minds to a degree, construct force barriers, and teleport myself and others." I'm sure he has other capabilities I can't think of off the top of my head.

"I on the other hand have advanced training in the use of many firearms including pistols, rifles, and fully automatic weaponry. I also have trained with the sword." He pats the hilt of the aforementioned weapon. "Most of the missions we've taken part in involve getting behind enemy lines and sabotaging a target or wreaking havoc. We're adaptable though."

Keep in mind I know nothing about military anything. >.>

The creation sighs and nods, "On one condition. I need to switch creations. Give me a few minutes to do that first, then you can go ahead."

The leader of Remnant gives a sigh. "I take it you won't let the matter drop unless I agree?" She asks before understanding the look on Sunny's face. "Alright, alright, I promise I'll sleep then."

Meeting Room

Jyarl flips through his pages of notes. "So you're basically a Search and Destroy team, sent against specific targets. Commandos, right?" So far, the meeting seems to be going favorably for the two.

"As long as the eyes stay here as you switch. Feia can watch them and prove we didn't touch them." Bugs says.
