[Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXXXII

Tehanu walks in with a swish of her black skirts. She's been bored lately and missing her favorite drink. She sits at the bar and arranges her skirts just so as she crosses her legs, letting her skirt hang just the right way to show off her legs. She leans forward and orders her favorite drink, a black shadow.

[Lord Magtok]

Mag blinks with the one eye he still has left.

Oh, umm...I guess I'm a mortal, then. Sure. Just-

He abruptly presses his palm against the side of his head, and winces as if he were hit by the worst headache ever.

One zero eleven one zero one one zero one one one...blargh, what the eff just happened to my head?

"Are you drank, mortal? Is that what is making you act strange? Do you want to go upstairs and have sex with me?" Shae asks Magtok. "What's your name?"

[Reinholdt]

A small blue kitty with a fez hat on his head enters the tavern and takes a seat, looking around the place before ordering some milk. Yummy milk.

Its eyes linger on Tehanu longer than they should before moving on to look at the half-asploded cyborg and pals.

[Gullara]

Jasmine raises her eyebrows pretty high. She glances between Maggy and the Fae again, not really sure what to say in this situation. Either the culture here is very... open or Shae is not very used to social standards.


Meanwhile, Kirk saunters into the tavern and takes a seat at the bar. He orders himself a rum and looks around. Tehanu gets a lingering appreciative look while Magtok gets an amused look.

[The Bushranger]

<PLOTCLONE! Your power, I invoke you!>

...and suddenly, Sharon walks into a tavern.
Sharon being the former Enupnion!Erin, now renamed as her player has far too many Erins. Dressed in her usual modest way and carrying her (Maia's) staff, taking a seat quietly at a corner table and ordering a bamhacon and llamaade.

[Lord Magtok]

"Are you drank, mortal? Is that what is making you act strange? Do you want to go upstairs and have sex with me?" Shae asks Magtok. "What's your name?"

Magtok shakes his head.

I'm not drunk, and the name's Magtok. I think there's some sort of interference around he-

He stops abruptly, and stares.

Wait, what was that second-to-last thing?

"Do you want to have sex together? That's what mortals do when they first meet, right? I'm trying to respect your culture and participate in local rituals, like getting drunk and having lots of sex!" Shae says.

Tehanu gets her black shadow and pushes a few coins over to cover the cost. With one hand she runs her long fingers through her hair, brushing it back away from her face. She picks up the glass and closes her eyes as she takes a sip and enjoys the delightful shiver that crawls down her back. Such a delightfully sinful feeling.

[Reinholdt]

Fez Hat Reinholdt kitty doesn't know whether to chuckle at Shae and Magtok or be aghast. A bit of both I suppose before he loses interest in them and glances at Tehanu again, before moving on to glance at Kirk and Sharon in turn.

[The Bushranger]

Sharon notes the look of Fez-Hat Reinholdt. Gives the kitteh a wave. Then looks about, and spots Tehanu...

She quickly blushes, her cheeks turning a bit chartreuse, and looks away.

Tehanu in turn spots the blush and winks at Sharon. She brushes out an imaginary wrinkle on her skirt, bringing attention to her legs. She's wearing a long black dress that's low in the front with a long slit up the side.

She idly runs one finger around the rim of her glass, considering the others as she looks around.

Sharon, meanwhile, decides that concentrating on devouring bamhacon is a good idea right now. So...that's what she does.

[Gullara]

Jasmine's thinking about how awkward she is going to be in this place if that's the culture. The poor woman is so confused and Shae's not helping.


Kirk receives his drink and decides he's going to be social. Tehanu, of course, catches his attention yet again and he makes his way over to sit beside her.

"Hello there." He says and takes a seat. "I hope you don't mind a bit of company."

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt kitty waves back to Sharon. "Hello."

Tehanu gives him an appraising look, "Of course not, company is always appreciated." She takes another long sip from her black shadow and it's obvious from her expression that she's enjoying it.

[The Bushranger]

"Oh! H-hello," Sharon stammers, looking up at FHR. Who is not to be confused with FHR...

*head asplode*
...looking up at Fez-Hat Reinholdt. "How are you t-today?"

[Reinholdt]

The shorthand acronyms for Reinholdt and Reinholdt were not planned...

"I'm doing alright I suppose. And you?"

[Lord Magtok]

"Do you want to have sex together? That's what mortals do when they first meet, right? I'm trying to respect your culture and participate in local rituals, like getting drunk and having lots of sex!" Shae says.

Magtok stares straight down at the bar counter, his face bright red and terrified that someone might've heard that crazy fairy and drawn the wrong conclusions about him.

Well umm...I suppose that's true, but I personally don't, err...

He grabs a drink, and swallows every last drop of it before continuing. That headache was getting ridiculous.

Usually it's done with more subtlety. Also, I'm not really interested in your umm...your particular gender.

He has no idea what Shae is, but figures 50/50 odds are pretty good. He can always take back what he said later, anyways.

[The Bushranger]

"Doing alright, I reckon. T-thanks."
Sharon smiles. Shyly!

[Gullara]

The appraising look gives her a good look at the drow depicted in my avatar. I should really not assume that everyone is familiar with him by now. He's quite handsome, but not supernaturally so like he used to.

"I couldn't agree more." Kirk sips at his rum and smiles pleasantly at her. "You can call me Kirk, by the way. Kirk Locke. And what can I call the beautiful lady seated beside me?"

Tehanu is wondering what his hands would look like against her pale skin

"Tehanu, so pleased to meet you Kirk." She offers one slim hand in greeting.

"More subtlety. I can do that!" Shae says. He turns to Jasmine. "Would you like to subtly have sex with me?"

Dorotha is still sitting by her table, quietly drinking tea and reading a book. Trying not to listen to some... man, probably, by the bar offering to have sex with people.

[Reinholdt]

"Doing alright, I reckon. T-thanks."
Sharon smiles. Shyly!

"That's good."
Reinholdt sniffs a bit.
The hormones and pheromones in the air seem to have shot up 200%. Geeze.

"I'm Reinholdt, Treasure Hunter Incredible. Nice to meet you." He says, taking off his hat and giving a little kitty bow.

[The Bushranger]

"Oh! Didn't we meet at the temple?" Sharon says with a bit of a giggle at the bowing cat! "I'm Sharon."

Dorotha might note the white-haired, green-eyed, remarkably familiar-looking young woman.

[ThirdEmperor]

Trace sits on the bar, leaning against a bottle of ale, and watching the various people in the Tavern. With a rather confused look on his face. Eventually he spots Dorotha, and with a grin, he quickly scurries across the floor, hopping onto Dorotha's table. Heya there babe. Care ta tell me yer name? The mouse says, winking.

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt places his hat back on his head.
"Temple? What temple?"

[Gullara]

Well, at least Shae matched up his gender to match Jaz's preference this time. So that's... improvement?

"I.. um..." Jasmine's eyes widen and she opens and closes her mouth a couple times. "Uh, no thanks. Thanks for offering though?" Shae most definitely doesn't know what subtle means.


Kirk takes her hand. "The pleasure is all mine. I assure you." His eyes flicker down to her drink. "An interesting choice of drink. It gives quite the interesting sensation I've found. Though, I tend to prefer warmer drinks." He holds up his rum for inspection.

[Morty]

Dorotha is, for the record, a slim, conservatively dressed and brown-haired young woman wearing glasses.
She spots the woman that she thought was Mrs. Erin, but then she introduced herself as Sharon. A twin sister? Mrs. Erin never mentioned one...
And then a very rude mouse is adressing her. She gives it a witherign glare. Give me yours first. And "babe" is no way to adress a stranger.
