    Default WraeClast IC

    You wake to the sound of water crashing against rocks. You find yourself face down in sand on a rocky beach. Last thing you remembered was the storm on the ship and the memories of the guards kicking you to the lower decks to save themselves. You have heard stories about getting exiled to Wraeclast but living it was something different. But you count yourself lucky as you stand and get your bearings. Bodies of fellow prisoners and the guard who tormented you litter the beach around you, you even find that there are 3 other prisoners still alive get up beside you. You feel perhaps you may survive this, you pick up an item that washed up next to you only to hear the sounds of bones cracking. You and your "companions" turn around to see a group of 4 skeletal warriors poised to attack your group. Perhaps your not as lucky as you think. Welcome to Wraeclast, and roll for initiative!

    Lachon

    Lachon wakes to feel as if his weight is pulling him down into the wet sand. All he can hear is the dull roaring sound of ocean waves crashing against the shoreline. He coughs up water and seaweed, struggling to his feet, his flame red hair matted against his skin.

    Hearing the sound of cracking bones, he turns to see the skeletal horrors approaching. He tries to yell a warning but still struggles to catch his breath. Reaching down aimlessly into the sand for anything to fight with, he catches grasp of his toolbag, a makeshift sling, and some rocks washed up on the beach.

    As he comes to, Gil at first wonders where he was. He glances to his side and sees the body of the guard. Right. That blasted ship, and the storm.

    He lifts himself up to a kneeling position and surveys the beach in front of him, bodies strewn ashore by an unfeeling tide. So this is Wraeclast. Just another shore where I won't stay welcome. Nothing new here. Then he notices the stroke of luck that someone's heavy flail washed up beside him. Immediately he seized it; it always felt more comfortable to be armed.

    As he stood, noting a few other survivors finding their bearings, the unpleasant sound of crackling bones jarred him...

    Looking down, he sees the holy symbol secreted aboard by one of his faithful wash up at his feet.

    Ereinion shakes the water from his ears as he takes stock of the situation quickly. Taking the first object he notices float by Ereinion smiles as the familiar welcome weight of a sword fills his hands.

    He gets into a defensive posture as he waits for the undead abominations to approach.

    Lachon

    A "whoop whoop whoop" sound is heard as lachon swings his sling in a circle, letting a stone fly through the air and towards the same skeleton that Erenion just struck. Unfortunately, the stone passes through the skeleton's rib cage and skips across the ocean surf a few times before settling to the ocean floor.

    As the skeleton near him gets his bearings, Lachon runs away from it (in the same direction as Eirenion).

    Damage roll: (1d3)[3]

    Move action: 40' of movement away from the skeleton that's chasing Lachon while it's flat footed (so shouldn't provoke AoO)

    As you shoot towards the other skeleton, the one thats closest to you seems to move just a few inches closer. Perhaps its good that you missed as you only have 1 that will attack you.

    As gil hits Skeleton 2 the vibrations send a shockwave that rips apart the entirety of the skeleton frame leaving just a pile of bones left.

    So then, how many hd do the skellies have?
    These are just 1 or higher, but you would need to roll at least a 10 on your check to effect anything at your level at the very minimum.

    Your commanding words of Nerull go un-noticed. It prepares itself for antoher attack.

    The scream is pretty self explanatory as the flame haired elf goes running down the beach, past Gil, with the skeleton mindlessly chasing after him.

    Full round action: Withdraw

    Moving 80' away from the skeleton that's chasing him, being cautious to not pass close by any other skeletons as he moves.

    Will try to run by Gil during movement, if he can still manage more than 60' distance from his skelly, in the hopes that either
    • a) The skeleton continues chasing after Lachon, granting Gil an attack of opportunity against the skeleton for entering and leaving a threatened square.
    • b) The skeleton stops by Gil, in which case Gil can crush its face with that giant flail he's swinging around.


    Skeletons have 0 Int, so hopefully the stupid thing will just keep chasing Lachon, giving Gil a free attack. I don't know what their original commands were from their creator.

    You successfully run away and the skeleton warrior seems to lost interest in you and turns toward Ereinion. However it seems your screams attracts the attention of a zombie close to the area. And it makes its move towards you.

    Gil takes out skeleton 3. Gill is 20 feet away form Skeleton 1
