    Not wanting a repeat of Rythia's final battle, Thyrn directed his nxt arcane assault at one of the creatures menacing Crane. A burst of eldritch energy sprung forth from his hand and flew at the creature.

    Acting fast the Deva shifts back and attacks the Kobold with a wave of thunder, pushing him back and into the crowd again.

    With a word of power Draziw inflames his stony orb and let an explosion hunt the pushed kobold and two of his comrades that set the area in fire.

    Draziw steps back before using a powerful display of arcane might to slay two of the kobolds. In retaliation, the remaining kobolds again swarm forward but their attacks miss all but Crane and Thyrn. Thyrn is protected by divine power but Crane is not so lucky and the kobolds lay him out.

    Even with all their precaution, Kourni was shocked that she couldn't prevent one of her new allies from being knocked out by the kobolds. The goliath woman immediately began another healing chant like before while simultaneously feeding energy to the consecrated ground around them. She had no intentions of letting either defensive measure fade. The energy was enough to stop Crane from bleeding to death but by now, she was clearly worried about his safety.

    She swung her hammer wildly at a nearby kobold while announcing, "This is all I can do. We need to cover Crane now."

    Seeing the battlefield unfold before her, the Deva feels stricken with indecision, there were memories not her own pulling her in different directions.

    Shut up! The paralyze finally let go and the voices were gone once more which meant she had to meet the battlefield alone without their experience.

    But she knew what she must do, "I'll cover him." She finally tells the goliath, having wasted precious seconds on memories that weren't hers, the voices of the dead. But she had no time for guilt now, action was needed.

    The deva moves through the ticket and notices the monk laying prone on the ground next to the vicious creature trying to kill him. Taking a deep breath she calls upon the light of Pelor before bringing the longsword against it's little body, praying that she wouldn't falter.

    Dawn then quickly reaches down to touch Crane for but a brief moment before turning back her attention to the attackers, ready to face them once again. She had atonement to do.

His tattoo continues to pulse lightly as his tears are absorbed by the minor charm. He looks to his companions. Thank you... Sisters... I am honoured... by your valour... he manages to wheeze though the blood in his mouth, giving a nod of thanks to Kourni and Dawn.

    Thyrn was somewhat torn between dispatching the creature that was immediately next to him, and aiding his comrades. Hoping to dispatch with the nearest creature quickly, he laid a curse upon it, which would intensify the power of Thyrn's arcane spells, and then cast a spell upon it, which had repercussions for those who chose to attack him for a few moments. He then moved a few feet away, as even if his spell would harm his foe further if it harmed him, it would still be far better to avoid harm entirely.

    The stone in Draziw's hand is burning, and with his words of magic the deva let the fire continue and expand, catching 3 more kobolds and start to burn them. The spell and its flames seems to be harmless to those who the wizard does not want to harm.

    With another movement of his hand Draziw sends a magic missile to the kobold in the back, hunting him.

    You can not hide little one.

    One of the kobolds shrieks Irontooth must be warned! before fleeing from site.

    The last two remaining kobolds advance and one manages to further injure crane.

    The goliath woman frowned a bit as one of the kobolds made a beeline towards the waterfall. Any doubt that there were more of the scaled beasts in the area was quickly dissolved by its worried cry and quick departure. Although she had no idea who or what this Irontooth was, the runepriest figured it would spell bad news for herself and her allies. Regardless, she was in no position to stop the runner, so she focused on other matters.

    Kourni once more maintained her protection field while taking a step forward. She idly traced a new rune on the side of her hammer before she swung it with annoyance at a nearby kobold. She couldn't shake the feeling that the worst was likely yet to come.

    Unfortunately, her fears easily broke her focus and her hammer crashed harmlessly to the ground a full ten inches away from her target.

    Dawn breath's out in relief as it appears Crane is going to be okay. "Don't worry, you're going to make it."
    When the Koboldt's flee, she does not chase, just glad that there are less enemies to take care of.

    But as the remaining koboldts keep attacking the wounded monk, her defender instincts comes to life again.

    She quickly reaches out her hand towards the koboldt in front of her but then moves besides Crane and mercilessly attack the kobolt trying to kill him.

    Valandil rolls to avoid the kobold's blade. His retreat brings him beside another and he takes a grazing blow before he dances away, his opponents forcing him to retreat. Deciding it better to use this to his advantage instead of fight it, he obliges and pushes himself into a backwards dive.

    Valandil lands nimbly to his feet and takes the moment of respite to push back on the offense. His chant never wavering. He lets off two quick shots in succession in hopes to dissuade them.

    Dawn takes a good look at Crane who still seems to be in a poor condition. "Do you need more healing? Your wounds look grave." She asks in a slightly stressed tone. She still needed to aid the others, she could only delay this for a moment.

    She'll then run towards the cave opening.
