    Laina sees only one skeleton left, turns to Crane and gives him a curious smile. She then raises her sword high and slams it down on the stone in front of her. A bright red rune appears where she struck her sword against the ground, and then it seems to left forth a torrent of fire than envelops the skeleton, Laina, and Crane.

    Two more skeletons burst from sarcophagi, the first charges at Draziw while the second swings its sword at Laina. Neither skeleton's blow finds its mark.

    Draziw just needed some free space to cast another magic missile on the skeleton next to laina, but to do so he has to avoid strikes from the undead in front of him.

    He steps back just a little and shoots the missile after it.

    Seeing as the threat almost abated, Laina takes a moment to herself, trying to recover the vitality that was seeping out of her. Not that anyone knows anything about her, but she seems not to heal quite as much as it seems as she should.

    Verin rushes across the room to strike at the lone skeleton only to have it withstand his attack. Laina then pauses to collect herself before continuing.

    Two more skeletons burst into the room before the one already there sidesteps Verin to sink his blade into Draziw. The first of the new skeletons swings wildly at Crane who nimble dodges the blow while the other rushes Verin who also dodges aside.

    Seeing that Draziw was bleeding, and neither Crane nor the runepriest was escaping injury, Verin considered two options he had; he could attempt a powerful spell with which he could hit two of the skeletons, or he could draw the skeletons away from Draziw. In the end, he settled upon the latter course of action, being that he could only cast the spell he had in mind very infrequently.
    It also occurred to him that he could maneuver himself to distract the skeleton which Crane was attempting to dispatch, allowing Crane to do so with more efficiency.

    You are now in the Keep up the road from the city of Winterhaven. Where was the cave you were exploring? Perhaps a sympathetic magical effect is at work... muses the monk, who while his magical education was cut short, is still something of a student of the Art. While we rest, friend Draziw, could you check the magical signatures of these sarcophagi? I would know what happened to Sgian, even if we can do nothing to retrieve him, he adds in an unusual display of verbosity. He turns back to Laina. I am Weeping Crane, humble servant of Ioun, he introduces, clasping his hands and bowing.

    Laina looks quite confused, "The cave was south in the Dawnforge Mountains, my Lady said I should look there for pockets of undead in the caves, so I went to investigate." She nods at both Crane and Verin's welcomes, "I am Laina, Runepriest of the Raven Queen. I am sent by her to reform or eradicate all undead that I find. I have been at it for a long time now and have grown quite good at it......when I'm not being sucked into random sarcophagi." As Verin moves around, he notices Laina's eyes on him an inordinate amount, she seems to be watching him quite closely, though she shows no signs of aggression.

    The wizard nods on crane's request and checks the sarcophagi while introducing himself. He looks very young, but his voice is those of an older man. Black lines like a tattoo run from his eyes down his cheek and over his neck, but even the skin without this marks looks strangly colorless and like a light grey. His woolen robe does not fit to his body, as if he has taken it from someone else and looks very cheap.

    "You can call me Draziw, and it seems as if you have been a tool for the magic in this path. If you don't insist i would like to study you, too. Maybe some part of this strange trap is still on your body."

    His name is obviously just "wizard" reverse, but he uses it as if he has no other name. Draziw does looks like he knows much about magic, and although his wizard orb is just a globe of ordinary stone it seems as if he is watching through it while he investigates the sarcophag.

    Verin couldn't help but grimace slightly upon hearing that the Runepreist served the Raven Queen, not so much due to any dislike of that particular deity or her followers, but rather because they tended to dislike him by virtue of his vampirism, a trait which he believed that he had no choice in receiving.
    Nonetheless, he decided it best to simply remain friendly and not bring up the fact that he was undead unless it became necessary.

    Exactly five minutes after the last of the skeletons fell, the sarcophagi again begin to disgorge more of the creatures. Again, the same mix of skeletons appears as the first time and the two larger skeletons rush to engage the party.

    The skeletons rush at the two heroes furthest from them opening themselves up to attacks to reach their targets; however, neither Laina nor Draziw can take advantage. Both skeletons strike true wounding the heroes and forcing the heroes to focus on them.

    We should'nt have wasted time here! The foul magic of this tomb is summoning more undead. Stay close and i might at least burn some of them!

    But first he has to bring himself into a better position. Draziw shifts a little into the small corridor, avoiding the attacks of the skeleton occupied with Crane.

    Then he tries to burst it and one of the smaller skeletons away.
