    Laina saw the monstrosity next to her and knew what she had to do. Her sword flew through the air, slashing at the skeleton, hoping to weaken it enough for her allies to destroy, as well as protecting them.

    Draziw steps back and unleashes a wave of energy that shakes apart one of the smaller skeletons and throws the larger one back. He then calls upon his reserves and blasts the large skeletons again while burning one of the smaller ones to ash.

    Verin throws himself at one of the other ones, but misses.

    Laina brings her sword around to strike at the larger skeleton adjacent to her.

    Crane shifts around and lays two skeletons low.

    The smaller skeletons begin shifting around and loosing arrows into the group of heroes, but only Crane is struck. The two larger skeletons rush back into the fray but only Draziw takes a blow.

    Another thunderweave of Draziw pushes the skeleton warrior back into the fire, and one moment later the explosion extends, surrounding the allies of the grey wizard and lashing out after the skeletons.

    Laina burns one of the skeletons while bolstering the party. Crane then attempts to grab onto the same skeleton but is unable to grasp it firmly.

    Two of the sarcophagi burst open to discharge smaller skeletons before slamming closed again. Three of the skeletons bring their swords to bear against Draziw, causing him to bleed profusely while the fourth shoots an arrow that lodges just under Laina's armour.

    The two big skeletons shift around and lash out with their swords. One missing Laina while the other leaves Draziw in a heap on the ground.

    Laina revives Draziw but is unable to strike the skeleton near her. Crane comes to assist Laina but is also unable to connect with his blow but he does manage to draw the skeletons attention.

    Two more sarcophagi slam open, discharge skeletons, and slam closed again. The smaller skeletons continue their assault upon the party with one of the two near Draziw again connecting with a sword blow, leaving the wizard reeling. The three at the other end of the chamber loose arrows towards Crane and Laina, one striking each of the heroes.

    The large skeleton, its attention now firmly fixed on Crane, brings its sword around in a vicious arc leaving Crane with blood flowing down his side.

    Taking full advantage of his invisibility, Verin knelt down and attempted to resuscitate Draziw as best he could. With that done, he shifted into his wolf form and quickly launched a further assault on the skeletons.

    Laina conjures up her powers of healing once more, trying to help out the wizard seeing as he was barely hanging on, and try to end the skeleton in front of her. "Where are all of these blasted things coming from?!!", she cries, hoping to stop the source of the skeleton's power.

    Weeping Crane
    Crane focuses his energy, identifying the skeleton before him's magical signature, which glows superimposed on the skeleton's form. Crane then attempts to kick the skeleton in the chest, moving his way backwards as he does so. He focuses his chi and brings it in tune with the creature's animating magic, prepared to respond to anything the skeleton tries to do.

    Standard Action: 1D - Master's Edge, @ SW
    Move Action: Shift 1 sq left.

    Verin moves forward and dispatches the last of the skeletons menacing Draziw before becoming visible again. Laina then takes the opportunity to heal Draziw and strike the larger skeleton, causing some of the bones to fall to the ground. Crane then also strikes out at the larger skeleton but his attack fails to find its mark.

    Two more sarcophagi slam open, discharge skeletons, and slam closed again. The smaller skeletons continue their assault upon the party with four of them loosing arrows at Crane and Laina. Laina is hit three times and her blood begins to drip upon the floor. Crane is luckier and manages to dodge the arrow the flies his way. One appears next to Verin but shifts around him to leave another wound on the wizard.

    The large skeleton, its attention now firmly fixed on Crane, shifts closer and brings its sword around in a vicious arc passing Crane's defences and drawing more blood.

    Draziw makes a step back from the darkness and decides to attack a different target this time. With a wink of his hand a magic missile is thrown on the air, attacking the huge skeleton, and a second missile directly after this.

    Figuring that Draziw needed more help than Crane did for the moment, and being that Verin was already near the skeleton that could attack Draziw, Verin attempted to push the skeleton away, and then trap it between himself, the wall, and two sarcophagi.

    Draziw brings down the large skeleton, while Verin dispatches the smaller skeleton that had been menacing the wizard. Laina ducks behind cover and pauses to catch her breath while Crane attempts to get into a position to rush the skeletons hidden in the darkness.

    Two more sarcophagi burst open, with small skeletons emerging from them before they slam shut again. Five of the skeletons loose arrows at Verin, but only one manages to strike its target. The last skeleton steps in close to Crane and attempts to bring its sword to bear, but can't pass the stubborn monk's defences.
