Re: Star Wars - Durasteel
SpoilerYeah, not taking bunches of thermals instead of frags was a bad idea. However, Ill never run out of ammo for my rifle. I have over 14 mags.... xD And hey, I never rise to the occasion when a DM taunts.

Re: Star Wars - Durasteel
The trooper without the upper body armor doesn't stand a chance.
Viper's blaster bolt burns and chars out his heart, sending the traitor flat on his face, leaving the two remaining traitors clutching their weapons defiantly.

Re: Star Wars - Durasteel
SpoilerSpoilerAaaaaaaaaand, that's the round...
Time for NPCs...
Five removes the helmet, revealing Kael Terrek's face.
Carefully, and gently, he removes the stormtrooper's ID tag, holding it up to the light.
"Kael Terrek. Joker Squadron. Fireteam 4. They were here, Haywire. That's probably them out there!"
Up on the roof, the Sith continues to study and watch Viper with interest. In the distance, the approaching craft becomes more definite...
A transport craft of some sort, a gun ship...
The explosion of Ryer's tossed weapon rips one of the traitors in half sending him flying as the shock wave tears through the glowing data bansk sending sparks and silicon all over the floor. The trooper Derec had manhandled holds up his hands in surrender.
Hand outstretched, the Twi'lek retrieve's its lightsaber, using the Force to tear the weapon from out of Ryer.
Catching the weapon, he reverses his grip, and slams the Joker in the helmet with the butt before arcing the blade down to behead him.
Dropping to his stomach quickly, the Chiss avoids the blade and escapes the Sith's attempt to summarily execute him.
On the roof, Jonas hears a noise coming from below...
The lift doors open, and three terribly wounded traitors appear-the snipers and spotters from before. Holding weapons half-heartedly, they look between the Sith on the roof, Jonas and the incoming gunship without saying anything.
Outside, seeing their Sith master defeated, the two remaining troopers, one wounded by previous fire, drop their weapons in a desperate bid for surrender and mercy.

Spoiler
Haywire
If The dead Joker inside the shuttle still has a comm unit, I'm going to try and use it to get a sitrep, and announce my presence, location, and possibly where they want me.
If no,t I'm going to assume the gunship is hostile, and is responsible for this shuttles crash landing.
Any follow up actions depend on intel and comms, however.

Re: Star Wars - Durasteel
Hask, having broken into a run towards the building and reached it, now reaches into his belt with a glance at Meg. "Oh, you KNOW I did. The only question is how much to use."
He stares at the building. "Can't get at the structural supports from outside, and no way am I going inside there. The whole idea's to collapse it on top of the Sith, soooo...."
He trails off, tilting his head as he listens to the radio chatter. He toggles his comm. {7264}This is Boomer, solid copy on the incoming Bogey. I'll have Meg set the charges on the building. Gimme a few seconds on that Bogey.{FT4}
Reaching into his backpack, he pulls out a satchel of Explosive Charges and tosses them to Meg. "There's only 6 in there, so don't waste them," he orders. "See if you can get one stuck on each corner of the building, tell everyone to get clear, then comm me and I'll hit the detonator. Got it?"
SpoilerTossing my satchel of 6 Explosive Charges to Meg.
Taking a full-round action to reload my Rocket Launcher.
Also, I just realized I forgot to be taking into account my Pitiless Warrior feat. Mr. GM, tell me if this math works out:
SpoilerPITILESS WARRIOR
Whenever you fell an opponent, the victory stokes your bloodlust and prepares you for more carnage.
PREREQ: Trandoshan species
BENEFIT: Whenever you reduce a target to 0 HP, you gain a number of bonus HP equal to 5+ 1/2 your level. Damage is subtracted from bonus HP first, and any bonus HP remaining at the end of the encounter are lost. Bonus HP do not stack.
By my reading, the chronology goes thus:
start of encounter 166/166
Gaining +11 HP with every kill
took 24 damage 142/166
got 4 kills 186/166
took 5 damage 181/166
took 8 damage 173/166
got 3 kills 206/166
got 1 kill 217/166Last edited by Tyrael; 2011-05-03 at 11:55 PM.

Re: Star Wars - Durasteel
{{'601}There's no way that Sith is just gonna waltz into that building and wait for us to leave, and remain there while we dive for cover... Blanketing its butt in blaster fire is the way to go-if you want to blow up something-get those explosives to the roof-the 'bogey' is headed there anyways! If it's hostile, we can detonate, no problem!{'264}}

Re: Star Wars - Durasteel
Marina - 7227- Spitfire
Right on the heels of Jauhzmyn's objections comes Marina: {{'227}Boomer, we've got people inside that building. I don't think the Sith's going to just sit there if we all bug out.{FT-4}}
While Soonto and Derec pin the Sith down beneath a stream of blaster fire, she begins moving through the makeshift barriers blocking the doorway, sending canisters clattering across the floor. She'd rather be getting to grips with the enemy herself, but clearing the entrance is probably a good idea anyway; being caught in close quarters with a Sith would be less than ideal for most of the squad.
SpoilerSpending 2 move actions to tear down the barriers in front of the door. If there's any leftover movement, she'll use it to head towards the Sith inside the building.
Also, just a note- Emphasis mine- it doesn't seem like this ability should be able to bring Hask above 177 hit points.[/QUOTE]Last edited by The_Snark; 2011-10-26 at 05:14 AM.
